Jeireth smiled, saying, "Thanks! Glad to be of service." With that he carefully studied the sticks, lining them up so that the branches matched. He used a claw to carve a line where the end needed to be cut, and then moved it away so that the shorter stick would not be harmed. With a single, swift, and well-aimed blow, Jeireth managed to cut the offending end away. He handed the sticks back to Keida, and looked around for more usuable stones.

Keida set the sticks to the side so that they wouldn't get lost. She then joined him on his hunt for stones. One caught her eye in the shadow of a bush. She plucked it up, discoviering it to be a bit smaller than Jeireth's stone. "Could we use this one as an eye?"
She held it up for Jeireth to see.

Jeireth nodded as he looked upon her stone. "Yeah, that seems like it could be a good eye." He hoped that Keida would be able to find a match as he picked up a stone almost identical to the one he had found previously. "I guess the mouth stones would be smaller than both the eyes and the buttons, right?"

"Yes." Keida searched around where she found the stone on the off chance that it had a mate. Nope, no mate. But she did fnd a lightly smaller stone. "Like this?"

Jeireth looked over at the stone Keida picked up. He studied it a bit, then said, "Yeah, that looks about right." He nodded, and looked down on the ground to find yet another stone similar to the one he picked up. It was just a tad bigger, but you could hardly tell.

Keida moved on to search another area, finding a second eye stone and another mouth stone. "Do you know how many mouth stones we need Mister Jeireth?"

"Probably about 8, but we might want to get 10 or 12 just in case." He wasn't sure how many stones would be necessary for the size of their head, since it was all about proportion. 8 would probably suffice, just like 4 button stones probably would, but he would rather have 10 mouth stones and 5 button stones just in case. Speaking of button stones, he just found his fifth one.

Keida walked around, plucking up small stone after small stone. Just three more and they would have enough...

Jeireth wandered a bit from his stone area to where Keida was, thinking that he might be able to find a couple stones to help her out. His only concern was that he didn't get a really close look at it. He picked one up, thinking it was about the right size, and asked, "Is this the kind you're looking for?"
(I leave it up to you whether he's right or wrong. xd )

"Yes, that is it." Keida scanned the ground, plucked up two more good sized stones. "Outside of a carrot, I believe that we have all the we need."

"I forgot about a carrot. Do you know where to get one?" Jeireth knew that the only carrots Sara had were baby carrots, and Verdandi went through them quicker than a cheetah could run. Before Sara knew it, those carrot expenses are going to run her out of a place to live.

"Ishie might have some." Keida could not help but feel like that was a big might. Since knowing her human, she had never seen him eat a vegetable.

"Want to go check it out? I don't think there are any produce stores readily available around here." He was sure about that. The humans wouldn't have settled that much here.

Keida nodded her head. She awkwardly gathered the stones she had collected and the two sticks. Holding them against her chest as she took to the skies again. Snow fell from her wings as she waited for Jeireth to join her in the air.

Jeireth did likewise, making sure that he had a good grip on all his stones before taking off into the air. It was slightly weird, flying while holding something, but he got used to it. He hovered as he waited for Keida to resume motion.
