@Vintage: I just bought a base vest and both Chessy and my sister worked on the fluffy stuff for it. It's really easy and I could have done it, but I didn't. Cx
I need to get my fabric for Kero and find a good tail & ear pattern since I'm making my own for the wings. Any shoe ideas? I was thinking Keds, but I don't know.

I've decided for my next cosplay I wanna go as *drums roll* ................... Lady Tsunade from NARUTO!

Shoes I'm buying off ebay Wig I'm buying from an online shop Necklace I'm making myself
I would like to attempt to make her jacket but there's a symbol on the back and I don't know how to go about making it sweatdrop
plus I'd like it to be light patterened green just plain green is well... ugly D:
I'd also need help with her actual top Any help would be greatly appreciated! (especially since I can't sew to save my life >__>)

You could print out that symbol, trace it, very carefully cut out the kanji, use pencil to trace the cut out onto a circle of red felt(or whatever you're going to use for that part), then use black fabric paint.

You could also use this special paper where if you print out on it, you could iron on the design to any solid piece of clothing. You can find it at wal-mart in the arts and crafts section. Make sure you get the pack for colors and just be sure to mirror the image in photoshop first or else it'll come out backwards on the fabric.
I'm still planning to go as Kaitou Kid to Onicon. <33 I found out the Chariots are going to be performing there. I haven't heard of them, but if they made a tribute to Phantasmagoria, then they must be good. x33 Also, Vic Mignogna is going to be there! Ftw! <33 He's been voice actors in all my favorite anime. <33333 I probably won't be able to work on my costume until Halloween time, though. If I can't get it done, I can always use my backup costume of Conan Edogawa. <33 I only need the bowtie and shoes for that one as opposed to everything for Kaitou Kid.

I love Tsunade! She and Hinata are probably the only female characters I like. I had wanted to do Hinata before... but staying that shy for a while isn't me >_>;;
Tsunade is so kick a** though! And it'll be so much fun to be her! Especially come time to take pics! XD I have so many ideas!
I guess depending on the type of fabric I use for the jacket will determine my method for getting the kanji on the back So I'm going to keep both of those in my mind when shopping

KIRA'S COSPLAYING A NINJA?! =O
My lack of enthusiasm for Naruto aside, I think that's a good cosplay for you. 3nodding
Both Kuro and Akira's suggestions are good, depending on what you end up making the jacket out of. This site has a bigger picture of the symbol which is probably closer to the actual size.
If you want to avoid sewing the top, you can try looking at thrift stores and such for a robe that's close to the color, or a color that you can dye to match hers. Then you just have to cut it to the right length and add the trim.

I do like Naruto, I don't tell many ppl so I stray from the stupid fans. I know there's a Goodwill in the next town so I'm gonna try there. I just need to borrow a sewing machine and remember how to use one.

*raises hand* Kira, just call me over. >w< I'll help you sew~ ^w^ My mom has taught me a bit, and I'm going to see if she can help me with my cosplay.
Next con, I want to go as.....*drumroll*
 Kamiya Kaoru!
I haven't seen many Kenshin cosplayers, so I think I can pull it off without seeing me everywhere. >w<
I will need help getting the wig though, as I'm not dying my hair. I'm going to try and get my Mom to help me on making the clothing, and the bandages I can get at the store or something. >w< I just need a wooden sword. xD

Here's a picture of my paper mache Puu prop.

I hot-glued the bottom(since that stuff's rubbery when it's dry) so it'll act as a grip when it's on my head. It was the only solution I could come up with to be able to take it on and off easily. I've finally got it balanced comfortably, so it won't wobble during pics. I had to paint over the felt because it was a different color than the paint: it took some experimenting but I managed to get it just right. I did my best with his feet, but they turned out kind of akward. sweatdrop
Hopefully this weekend I can get started on the Yusuke part of my costume.
