Lily and her sister Diana had just entered the train and walked into an empty compartement. There was a chant going on in Lily's head, as there so often was. First Year! First Year! Ravenclaw? Ravenclaw? It would run and then start over at the beginning again. "Are you excited or what sis? I can't wait! You think I will be in Ravenclaw like you?" She really wanted to be in Ravenclaw. It sounded like her kind of place. Bookworms and Smart people. That was how Lily summed it up. I love to read! I really should be in Ravenclaw...I hope I am, I want to be in the same house as Diana. Lily pulled a book out of her bag and took a bird treat out of her pocket for her owl, Whisper. Then she sat down and looked at her sister.

Diana was a 5th year at Hogwarts. She looked at her sister Lily. "I think you might be in Ravenclaw. Yeah I'm pretty sure. You pretty much get to choose where you go. In fact you do choose." Diana said nodding her head. She grabbed her sister's trunk after putting hers on the luggage rack. "What did you pack in this thing Lily?" This thing is really heavy! When there luggage was situated, Diana sat down and started playing with her kitten, Hamster. Hamster was just about the size of a hamster, hence his name. "I think me and Hamster will go for a walk and see who is here." Diana walked down the corridor and saw a pretty full compartment. She stepped into the doorway and looked around. She recognized a few people, James who was in her year was in there. She listened to their conversation. WAIT!?! DEATH-EATERS?!?!?WHAT?!?

Sibur took a few steps onto the train, holding his cat in a familiar hold. The cat's back paws where held in Sibur's hand while the cat was nearly on his shoulder. He walked along the corridor, glancing into compartments as he went and looking for an empty one. When he finally found one, he opened it, closed it behind him, and tossed his cat down onto the bench, which landed on his feet. A quiet mew came from the animal. Sibur sat down and the cat climbed into his lap. 'This is going to be one interesting year.' "Fang... I, oh never mind. You'll do whatever you want anyway..." Sibur reached into his pocket and gave the treat to the cat.

Sirzael had seen the other boy enter the train and took a different entrance. He maneuvered the cage he held in front of him so as not to bump it into a wall. Sirzael searched out a free compartment. He took one and set the cage down. Opening the lid, he reached in, pulling out the snake that was a good seven feet in length. "Such a beautiful girl, Tamiko," he murmured, stroking the scales. Sirzael sat down, allowing Tamiko to slither where she pleased.

James looked at Diana noticing she was in the same house as him. He walked over to her compartment and noticed a hamster. He smiled at it and waved through the window. He loved animals. He probably looked really goofy doing it though.

Katelyn smiled at Lily,"I'm Katelyn Williams but you can call me Katie." said Katelyn as she took a seat near Lily.

Arie got tired of the conversation and went to go find a compartment. She looked into the compartments looking for any of her friends. She saw James and as she looked past him she saw Katelyn. She wanted to put the last year behind her so she waved at Katelyn and Katelyn waved back. Maybe this year would be better.

Samantha awoke from her power nap and stretched. Her legs were stiff so she decided to walk around for a bit. While walking around she curiously looked into the compartments. She saw a cat, not bothering to look around inside to see if its owner was there she stepped into the compartment and kneeled down to pet the cat. Samantha sat down on the floor. She crossed her legs not caring who was watching her. "What's your name kitty," she asked the cat.

"Hi, so what year are you in? This is my first year! Did you enjoy your first year? Lily began shooting questions off the top of her head. She noticed the boy outside their compartment waving at something and looked to see what. She assumed he was waving at Diana since she didn't know him. She looked at her sister sleeping peacefully. I'll let her rest. She was tired since Dad...kept her and mom up pretty late last night.

Diana still snoozed as Hamster clambered off her lap and onto the floor. Lily was to busy talking to notice as the kitten snuck up to the compartment door and squeezed through a small crack. The kitten wandered the train in the direction James had gone. Hamster had liked the look of the boy, smiling and waving. Hamster thought he would have much more fun with him then he would sitting in that compartment with a sleeping companion and one too excited to sit still. He wandered along the train but couldn't find anything fun to play with. He tried to go back but which way had he come from? It all looked the same.

"Why didn't you make many friends? Were there not many people in your year or something?" Lily asked. That would suck...I haven't seen many people who look like first years on this train though...

Diana woke with a start. She'd just had that dream again...she always had dreams, well...nightmares. They would start with her father laughing evilly, then he would turn into a death-eater who was standing over her mother's broken and bruised body. Then he would pick her up and throw her down a dark whirling vortex. She would wake up then and realize it was all over. Normally she would try to go back to sleep but she looked down at her hands and realized Hamster was missing. "Lily do you know where my kitten ran off to?" Lily shook her head. I've gotta find him, he's so small...Diana walked out of the compartment and down the corridor searching the floor. 10 minutes later she still hadn't found him. Where could that cat be?

Sibur was surprised to say the least when a girl came in and began to talk to his cat. The girl left after there was a thud. Sibur jolted at the sound. He stood in the doorway of the compartment looking down at the two. He heard the question come from the boy about who owned the cat.

"I'm his owner. And his name is Fang."
