Seiko shook his head at the sight that was unfolding in front of him, which was a bad idea. What ever Tomoko did to his mind was still effecting him. As he watched Zoku get worked up he put his hands in his pocket and began to follow. He was finally going to see something useful come from being with Tomoko and Zoku. Silently he thought of what could come from becoming Heikou or what had just happened to his mind, it was the only thing he could really focus on. His mind was so heavy with thought it was hard not to think of something.

[So, Eifer and I are going to plot our little group going up against Shimagakure. XD Just thought I'd let you guys know. I'm freaking excited for it.]

Once again as they hit the road, Tomoko was singing and dancing like always. She followed behind Zoku closely as Tsuigi lead the way. Her little dark eyes spotted Haha Plants all over the island, but she had to stay on task! There was no pot smoking today. "Uwaaa~" Tomoko said in awe as they finally arrived at their destination. "This is the Heikou shrine! Heikou!" Tomoko said in excitement as she quickly climbed up to the shrine's steps. As her voice echoed through the air, birds flew quickly away from the shrine. The birds were abnormally large and as one feather fell from the sky, it drifted down before Tsuigi's feet. It was at least the size of his arm. "Uwaaa~" Tomoko said with a big smile on her face as she ran through the shrine's gate to the pair of large stone doors. "Are Tomoko's brat's ready?" the woman asked as her crazy smile continued as she picked up a jagged rock to her hand.

Within in a second, Tomoko sliced the palm of her hand and then clapped her hands together, so that there was fresh red blood on both sides. She then pressed both palms against the doors and began to push. Strange Echos that carried whispers of voices seem to filter out with the cold air that rushed out from the door, causing a light breeze to brush up against the members of the group. Tsuigi would feel frozen fingertips brush his chest from behind, Zoku would feel the grip of two hands on her feet and Seiko would feel a cold hand around his throat, but the three would only feel these sensations for a brief moment before the feelings faded with the breeze.

Tomoko had felt many more hands brush against her body, but it did not phase her. She had known about the many lives that had been lost in order to defend this shrine. Many of them remained here and many of them were the punished souls of those that tried to attack the shrine. "Let's heeeaaad in~" Tomoko said in an eerie voice like she were a ghost. The stone floors were cold on her feet, so she turned around. "Dhaaan Dhaaaan~" the woman cried as she held up her arms for a piggy back ride through the shrine.

Seiko followed behind the group noticing that things were starting to get rather creepy in the process. As the group cam up to a shrine that looked to have seen better days the boy stopped. His hands in his pockets and his body titled sideways. He wasn't expecting what was next, his mind was purely focused on becoming stronger faster. Tomoko began to speak and the boy turned his back on her, what she had to say wasn't important. He just wanted the shrine open so he could go in. As she did open the gates, a rush of cold air sprawled out across the stone steeps. Shivers went into Seiko's body as the wave washed over him. As it did he felt the painfully familiar touch of a hand reach around his throat. His jaw clenching the hand disappeared. Not understanding what had just happened he played it off as his imagination and began walking up to the steps next to Tomoko. Nodding in her direction to let her know he was ready he waited for his instructions, and his chance to become Heikou.

The animal that was Dhan, the monster that had brought fear to so many lives now suffered that same fear. The simple minded creature that replaced Dhan's soul looked almost like a scared puppy sticking close to Tomoko. The last thing Dhan wanted to do was go through the door way but his sister ordered him so reluctantly he stepped through the threshold scooping Tomoko up and giving her a worried look along with a sound that resembled a puppies whine.

Zoku lifted her head up as the birds screeched overhead and a large feather fell down just a few feet in front of her. She had never seen birds that big on Haha Island before... Moving ahead uneasily, Tomoko darted in front of everyone and ran up to the doors of the large shrine. Zoku looked around nervously through the strands of black hair as the doors slowly opened for Tomoko. A cool gust of hair made its way through the weaving in Zoku's clothes and as she stared down to the ground, she felt a cold hand around her ankle, but she did not see a thing. Licking her lips, she watched as Seiko went up to the shrine to stand with Tomoko. Zoku followed suit, walking past Tsuigi as her warm feet touched the cold stone of the shrine.

Tsuigi had brought them to the shrine but stood just at the first step, he knew better than setting foot on that wretched place after so much. The woman rushed up the stairs towards the great archway that signaled the official entrance to the place. As the giant birds flew, Tsuigi walked the steps behind the party. "Crazy hag" He whispered between his sharp teeth as Tomoko ran up onto the stone walls and cut herself. Just when he was about to insult the senile lady the doors cracked open. She had managed to open that place with ease, perhaps there was something to gain from her afterall. The thoughts of power filled his mind and suddenlly an eerie feeling took hold of the brat. Chilly fingers seemed to caress his chest passing them through the great scar on it. "What in the name od Hell is that" His eyes darted around himself trying to find the source of such a chilly feeling.

Climbing on Dhan like he were a jungle gym, Tomoko arranged herself on top of his shoulders. "Ne, ne! Its ok my DhanDhan!" Tomoko cooed her twin brother as she rubbed her cheek against his. "We're gonna get your soul back! Be happy! Happy!" Tomoko said, as she tried to persuade the large killing machine to be confident. Leaning her head back very far, she looked back at Tsuigi upside down from Dhan's shoulders. "Its the sooouuuls of the deaaaaaaaad," the woman said in a creepy tone and then continued to giggle madly after that. "Nyhaha, forward!" Tomoko said, pointing towards the cave, ordering everyone to continue in.

As the group continued in the shrine, it got darker, but for some reason it was not pitch black. A faint blue light seemed to keep the walkway slightly lit up, so shadows would cast over pot-holes in the stone. It got colder... and colder as the group made their way through the strange walkway. As they got deeper, strange symbols were written on the walls, some of which Fuin symbols. Turning a corner, the walk instantly opened up to a large room which was missing chunks of the floor. The light noises heard from the entryway were now louder as crystal chimes hanging up from the ceiling danced against one another in the cold stir of spirits that were unseen to the eye. "Be careful where you step, my brats," Tomoko warned the three that would be following after her and Dhan. Without a sound, twins appeared on the other side of the room, just as the group entered. They held eachother's hands as their faces stayed covered by their long black hair.

"A Jio has finally come."
"Half of one as well."
"A warlord with no soul."
"A Meho unlike the others."
"A Meho just like the others."
"Why have you come?"

As the two sounded off their questions in a light and swaying tone, a small orange cat came between them, sitting at their feet. A shiny golden bell around his neck sounded as he sat down carefully between the ghosts of the two twins. His black eyes looked at the group curiously while waiting for their answer. Tomoko hugging onto Dhan for warmth, smiled at the eerie three that stood on the other side of the room. "Tomoko wants DhanDhan's soul back from Ikatsui-ago. Tomoko has found the celestial twins for Heikou. AND Tomoko has this one to find Yoku-Akogi," Tomoko answered and as she did, the twins came floating across the room.

"You have lost the demon?"
"Heikou will not be pleased."
"Half a Jio become Heikou?"
"Heikou will not be pleased."
"Enter Ikatsui-ago's realm?"
"It shall be dangerous."
"We shall speak with Heikou."

The twins said as they floated around the group. Once they were done examining everyone through the strands of their hair, they hovered back to the center of the room, where the orange cat jumped up on an altar that sat in the middle of the room. They bowed their heads together in silence, the sounds of the room suddenly stopping. The silence was nerve wrecking as the twins spoke in silence to Heikou. A few moments later, the twins raised their heads just as the large wooden doorway that the twins had stood in front of earlier began to swirl with blue and red light.

"Go forth and claim his soul."
"Prove to us that you are Heikou."
"Show us you can handle a demon."
"We will see you soon, Jio."

The twins said, just before they disappeared from the room, dispersing like mist to leave the group of misfits in front of a portal to the realm of Ikatsui-ago. "Yay!" Tomoko cheered as she hopped off of Dhan's back and carefully hopscotched across the room. The cat watched the woman make her way across, his bell ringing as he turned his head. "Come! Come! Let's go get DhanDhan back!" Tomoko said with a smile as she took a big jump into the portal like she were jumping into a lake.

Seiko walked behind Tomoko his hands in his pockets and his eyes scanning the symbols littering the walls. If he hadn't have recognized the symbols of Fu he would have sworn a five year old kid had attacked the walls with ink. Feeling a little creeped out he stopped around a corner with Tomoko only to see two girls. They spoke in riddles and called out the obvious. Jio's and Meho's who the hell else could have gotten into here? As Tomoko began to tell them why they were here he felt a rush of blood hit his face. She wanted that monsters soul back? The man who could wipe out an entire nation? Someone had finally been strong enough to kill him and she wanted him back? That wasnt all, then she spoke of celestial twins again. While he still found it hard to believe that he was anything more than a halfling if it could grant him more power he didn't care. When the two sisters began floating above him he lowered his head as to not see. Spirits were one thing, but having them visibly float above your head was another. "Keep your head up you weakling. You are in arms reach of power, don't back down now." Desperado spook with a hint of pleasure in his voice. While for once it was good to hear him, reminding him why he was here. This was the reason he put up with the crazed woman for so long. As the girls opened a gate in front of them and told them to jump in he looked back at Zoku for a second. Nodding his head, in his own way he was trying to say everything will be alright. In a way he was saying he had her back. Running forward watching his step to avoid any holes he jumped in to the portal. Feeling like someone was trying to crack him open like an egg he might have not been tough enough to take the ride, maybe Zoku would fair better.

Zoku smirked back at Tsuigi freaking out over the cold breeze that came from the shrine. As she stood next to Seiko, she watched as Tomoko hung from Dhan and tried to spook Tsuigi even more, but she managed to spook Zoku a little as well. "Souls..." the Meho whispered to herself as she watched Dhan and Tomoko head into the shrine. It was dark, but Zoku's eyes quickly adjusted as they walked down the rocky path. There were symbols on the walls that Zoku had seen before, but she didn't have the slightest clue what they meant. They were the Jio language as far as she knew, but this was the shrine of Heikou, so wouldn't have Meho also written something? Shaking her head, Zoku walked on behind Dhan and Tomoko as they came to an open room. It was eerie... Zoku swore she could hear people whispering... moaning... as the glass chimes sounded in the lifeless breeze. Where was that breeze coming from? Just as Tomoko warned her to watch her step, Zoku's sunrise eyes spotted the dark holes where the stone was missing.

Zoku jumped when she heard the voices of the twins, not realizing that someone had been there. She moved back to stand by Seiko as the two spoke in riddles. Zoku tried to think of who they were talking to with each sentence. Was she the Meho unlike the others? Was it true that Tomoko told her she was a celestial twin? Zoku's entire body tensed as the two twins came floating around them. They continued to speak in their lifeless tones as they examined everyone. Zoku didn't feel relaxed at all as they floated away and a portal was formed behind the twins. As the spirits disappeared, Tomoko's cheerful voice rang through the room as she darted over to the portal and hopped right in eagerly. The Meho girl didn't move a muscle. The silence of the room was frightening and the jingle of the strange orange cat's bell was even creepier. Zoku feel to a squat on the ground as she refused to move. Then she noticed Seiko moving towards the portal. Raising her head, she watched as he nodded towards her. Her strange eyes watched as the boy disappeared into the portal. Forcing herself to stand, Zoku walked towards the portal and looked back at Tsuigi. She didn't say a word to him... She closed her eyes and fell backwards into the portal.

The eerie feeling of the place filled the small Meho warlord's skin with a cold chill that prolonged all the way in their walk. This dungeon like temple held a lot of Jio symbols he couldnt quite get and the feeling of being sorrounded by the unknown and even more something he couldnt beat up wasnt something he was fond of. " This place is a dump. Lets hurry and do whatever you gotta do, i wanto to get out of here fast" Trying to act tough was the only defense he had right now after all, deep inside he was still a kid. The open rooom that apperade in front of him dindt look to him anything special until the two figures appeared. The ghosts spoke of of loosing the demon and half a Jio and for some reason he felt they where talking about him." Hey are they making fun of me? Who tdo they think they are?" He grabbed the hilt of his sword thinking about finally using it but then he noticed they where ghosts. after that everything was a flash to him. He went stone cold and the world slowed around him. He didnt hear or see anything until the big portal burst to life in front of him. " Wait you want us to go in there?" Every one started throwing themselves into the gateway as if there was no problem with it but the feeling he had earlier before getting into the shrine just didnt let him think straight, for the first time in his life he felt somewhat afraid. They where going to the realm of a demon and if anyone was to defeat it, it would be him. summoning forth what little bravery he had he walked over to the treshhold, his wooden sandals echoing in the stone walls of this accursed shrine. He stopped for a second to look at the it and then continued on.

As soon as the portal opened Dhan became excited. He could feel the presence of his missing self. The hunger to fill the empty void that had once been his soul took over and the reanimated monster plunged into the void but on the other side he was nowhere to be seen...

The group fell through the raging storm that was the portal from this world to the realm of Ikatsui - ago. The trip putting great strain on all their physical forms, almost tearing them apart. Death had almost claimed them before they even reached the demonic world and the sudden entry into another world left the group reeling, disorientated...

The first thing any of them would notice was a presence in their mind's a maddening beat driving into their sanity. This was no place for the living to tread. As their senses returned the world around them began to take shape. Bright lights flickering in the distance, an endless field of candles burning the sky. They illuminated the realm of Ikatsui - ago with a blood red glow and the land itself took the appearance of a crumbling kingdom long since lost to time it's residents where too lost but not unheard, screams of pain, horror and battle filled the air. It seemed this place was in endless conflict and sitting in the centre of it all towering above the ruined kingdom was a throne of corpses where the creator of this terrible place sat and waited for his guests.

"Nyahahahaaa~" Tomoko giggled as she came out from the portal, her skin burning hot as she twirled around, completely dizziy and disorientated from the trip through the portal. She was so dizzy, in fact she fell down on the ground, the strange noises of the realm echoing in her head. "Ooohwaaa~ Tomoko can't handle anything else in her head," the woman whined as she put both hands over her ears as if to steady herself. As she tried, she noticed Dhan sprint away from the portal. "DhanDhan! Waaaaaitu~" she whined, trying to stand back up again, but didn't have the energy too. She was still fatigue from placing seals on Zoku and Seiko yesterday. Her body was just so close to giving up.

Souls can't sweat, but the frightened young girl's hair hung in her face and looked as if it was drenched with sweat as she cried out to no one in particular. Constantly screaming for help, and no one around to listen. The other lost and trapped souls in the realm of Ikatsui - ago's hell, that's all one would hear, the cries of the souls trapped here. Chiyoko's nails scrapped at the ground as she tried to pull herself up. The ground around her was pulling her in deeper and deeper, sort of like quicksand and the fear in the girls eyes was more then noticeable. The girl's rapid breathing stopped for a moment when she heard some giggling. Giggling was not something heard here, ever. Her eyes quickly turned to see a group of others appear, to her, out of nowhere. Three children and two older people.

"Please!" she cried out "Please! You! Please help me!" she cried out to a boy that seemed close to her age with green, almost yellow eyes. "Please! I can't get out!" she cried, tears streaming from her eyes as she continued to claw at the ground, trying to keep herself from sinking into it any more. This could be her chance to be saved, her last chance. "Please help me!" If these people didn't help save her, she would be trapped here forever, and that struck the worst fear in her, her screams and cries were eerie ones, but no more eerie then the other moaning, and crying from the other trapped souls. She needed their help, she didn't want to be trapped here any longer...

(I knew this was going to happen)

Seiko dropped to the ground flat on his face. As he took a second to regain the control in his body he began to lift himself onto his knees. Looking around his eyes shifted around to see bodies every where. His sunset eyes grew wide and his body began to shake. This is what hell looked like? This had to be it. The bodies around him glew like nothing he had seen, dead men and women. So much of this reminded him of the night he lost his parents. It all seemed so unbelievable but he knew it was true.

"Hey, boy. I can show you your mother and father again. Would you like to see them? They miss you so much and cant wait to see you."

Seiko heard a voice calling to him like no other voice he had heard in his mind, but the promise of seeing his parents again crawling on the ground over to a body to decayed to distinguished between male or female. Looking it in the eyes he wanted to ask a question, but before he could he felt his body being sucked from this realm. As if his entire history and future were being erased from the minds of all those he had ever come in to contact with. He could feel himself being ripped from the fabrics of time. Had his journey really ended here, had the chance for power escaped from his fingertips?

His passage through the portal was the worst thing he had expirienced so far in his life, and he had been hurt badly before. Everything seemed to become black, screams could be heard all around as if the night his village had been destroyed was happening all over again. The screams where sometimes high and sometimes really low like an echo. He felt as though he was spining and every part of his body was in pain as if every injury he had ever gotten had returned to haunt him. The whole thing to him was like an eternity and next thing he knew, the spinning had stopped and he was standing in an redish hell with walls and floor that seemed to be made of corpses itself. " What the..." His body began to shake harder than ever and his body was covered in cold sweat. His legs couldnt hold him standing and he landed in all fours because of the stress of the trip. " They didnt even budge? Dammit" The meho warlord had looked into Tomoko and Dhan as they simply stood there apparently un affected by the trip.

The other two kids seemed to suffer some degree of exaustion as well so he didnt feel that bested. Tsuigi bit hard with his shark teeth and his right hand to try and use the pain to shake him into control once again. Slowly he pushed himself upward standing once again in his two wooden sandals. Sounds of what seemed to be tormented sould echoed in this place and weird lights glowed and hovered. " Great you idiot Jio Hag you just brought us to hell.So this is where i sent dad huh? suits him right i guess. But im not one for family reunions get us the hell out of here" The boy was looking all around the place for any kind of sing of intelligent unwhining life but nothing so far. The Seiko kid started walking away and Tsuigi thought about calling him back but he then heard a noise. Ignoring completely the group he walked in the direction of the sound until he found the source

There she was a girl scrapping the ground trying to free herself from the grip of what seemed to corpses. She was begging for someone to help her and although Tsuigi felt compelled to help her he didnt know what to do." Well lookey here." he spoke with a smile that bared all his shark teeth for the trapped girl to see. It could have been a trap and he'd end up in her position, but if not maybe he could gain a slave for himself, a minion to help him gather the swords. The other Meho had a partner a Jio partner that seemed to be the key to their new power, if this girl was here she should know something about the place.

Resisting Chiyoko's persuade in order to ask for something in return for saving her.
