OOC: XD naw. I've posted with a mule before in another rp to save login hassle

BIC: eek >>The male instantly tensed as he felt the other fairly wrap around him. Oh, how he could smell Jade fear, thick and heavy in the air around him. He could feel the others limbs tremble as they gripped feebly to him. So...why was he still trying so hard?<< Love? >>He fairly growled the word into the mouses ear<< You've just met me...you don't know me. How can you possibly say that you love me? >>He pulled back, just enough so he could stare into the others deep emerald eyes<< What type of siamese am I? Who are my parents? Whats my favorite color? >>Light blue eyes narrowed in twin shards of ice, watching, hating, but beneathe it all, hopeful<< You can't love me...you don't even know me.

Think you can take me? >>Truth be told, she wasn't much one for rugby. So much tackling and shoving...it was dangerous. Lazereth was tomboyish...not stupid. Like hell though was she going to turn down a challange<< Wouldn't want to rough you up after you just... hey! >>She glared as the male wedged himself inbetween her and the armrest, instantly scooting away from him<< Any reason for that?

(( XD Heh, well it does save some time.))

He almost melted under those eyes; they struck his nerves so hard if he hadn't had hold of Kisten he probably would have fallen over. They were odd, but something he adored; wether they be bright and cheerful to cold and piercing like this. It reminded him of snow no matter which way he looked at them; sweet soft powdery snow. Cold and soft at the same time.
Words circled in through his ears; Kisten didn't believe him. Was there a possible way to tell him he was telling the truth? No, he couldn't prove anything yet. At least not without extreme measures that would more than likely only make Kisten reject him further.
What type of Siamese, parents, color. He had no idea, because the fact above all of it was that they had just met. But that couldn't change the chemical reaction his heart and body had with the husky-siamese hybrid.

The thoughts in that mousy head were not clear; but his heart knew exactly how he felt. He couldn't talk to the man he loved so much with his head anymore; his heart had taken the reigns a while ago.

"I, I really can't give you an answer to well... any of those. But... I..." he bit his own lip - tormenting it harshly. It was already sore from the chapped cold outside and the sweet friction it had met with earlier. He was sensitive beyond his own comprehension; a few drops of blood surfaced.
He noticed this and mentally panicked; tilting his head down and licking it away. His eyes hadn't left Kistens, though they winced at the tounge touching the surface - it was raw and red. A painful stinging lingering menacingly at him as if to punish him for his acts of affection.

He shook it off and continued - his body shaking nervously again. "... I want to know all of those things, you see... But, you're taking it as if I'm proposing to you or... well, asking you to even love me back at all. That's not it! ...You see, love isn't something that can just be decided by knowing someone's favorite things, or well... anything really." he pressed himself closer to Kisten, his lip stinging; begging him to stop moving them to talk. He refused. "I can't explain how I love you, it would be nothing but babble! But... I... um.." he flushed "Being in love with someone, it's not something I can explain. But I know I love you. You see... That's why..."

He stopped for a second, reaching to take his own long fingers through Kistens hair admiringly - it could be seen through his eyes that his head was hazy with sweet thoughts. Anything he could say to prove that his heart was being true, anything to show him or even begin to describe his love that ran on no information whatsoever.
"... Tha-That's... why I... I want to know you. That's why I asked you to promise me, earlier that you would give me the chance to know you. I want to listen to everything you like and everything you don't like and... I want to stay with you, even if you never love me at all that's alright. Just... I want to.." his vision went black for a second - temporary blindness from too much blood rushing to his head. He was still consious and fully aware of what was happening, he just couldn't see a thing for a few seconds. "I want to... know you.." he started sliding down the wall, holding onto Kistens shoulder for support.

It focused again - leaving him dizzy as the room and Kisten spun. He couldn't speak at all, so a gasp came in place of words. His legs gave in and the rest of him followed. Darkness overcame his shaking body again - and those mild nervous trembles turned into visable shaking. "Ah- I-!"

A gasp.

"Yeah, somethings wrong." he growled; the fur on him standing up in every direction. He was greatful for that sixth sense canines were blessed with; it made it possible for him to pick up on things. Thunderstorms, hurricanes; if there was any bad karma to pick up Chrysanthos wouldn't miss it.
His wounds were proof.
A low growl came from his chest as his eyes flew into a brave but fearful look; like a guard dog faced with a tazer and a sludgehammer. It was something he couldn't stop - but he'd die before he let it slide by.

"And something's wrong with Jade."

He looked her in the eyes; almost seeking advice from her.
Should he head into danger like this? If there was a monster bat in there he wouldn't stand a fighting chance - and like hell he'd send in Laz.

"Stay here, please."

((Dun Dun Duun! Is right. XD Chrys is taking things a little too heavy; he thinks Kisten and Jade are being attacked.))

>>Blood. Red, slick blood. Something painful jabbed him in the back of his mind. Worried. Why was he worried? About him? He liked him for some strange reason...why?<< You can't love someone you don't know. Its just asking for trouble- >>His head jerked to the side when he reached up to touch his hair. An affectionate guesture...he'd never accept it<< Tomorrow morning, I'll be gone. And you'll never see me again. >>Wait. Something was wrong. The male in his arms went limp, as he felt the trembles against his chest<< Jade! >>The name was sharp, harsh, worried. In a single quick movement the mouse was cradled in his arms, bridal style with his head resting against his shoulder. He strode out of the kitchen to give the two anthros on the couch a stern look not to follow. The hybrid then quickly moved down the hallway, looking for the closest room, any room, with a bed<<

>>The growl made her own fur fluff out, getting disgruntled again. JUST as she was starting to like him again<< Jade has Kisten with him. He'd at least hold up long enough to make one loud noise. >>hazel-rimmed green eyes met the wolfs, serious. A single beat went by<< No. >>She shook her head, slipping off of the couch as smoothly as quicksilver<< Any stress to that thread will tear it. I'll see whats up, since you're so worried. >>The female started towards the kitchen, a hand reaching up to comb the soft brown hair out of her face. She instantly froze when the hybrid appeared, barely past the couch. Cold. He was so...cold, compared to when she had left him. Wasn't he brimming with energy before? Her eyes fell to the mouse<< What... >>The male started walking away again, leaving her staring unsurely<< ...creepy.

(( x3 I will be back on: Sunday.))

No.
No, No, No, No, No, No! s**t!
That's all the wolf could think as he followed closely and quickly after Kisten, taking Lazereth by the hand nervously - his own shaking in fear. He didn't like the look of what was happening to Jade at all - and considering that he was a mouse it almost proved this theory.
He opened a door swiftly, letting Kisten put him on the bed but staying close.
"Damn it, Jade..." he growled under his breath - his canines showing rather fiercely. He knew that Jade wouldn't have told him about this - he hated having other people worry about him. But he did a damn good job at making it happen. This wasn't the first time it had happened - but never like this. He looked like he was having a seizure instead of just any little attack. His growl became more fierce - a very rough and irritated growl. He wasn't angry - he was scared.
What if he died? His face paled. Jade, dead. Buried in the ground with his life that he had ahead of him would be gone. His face scrunched in a snarl, his lip twitching in anxiety.

".... Wake up! You've got to pull through! What about your siblings!? What about your mother!? Don't give up on me now!" he was yelling at someone who couldn't hear him - not over the pain.
His eyes widened - Jade was shaking, and real bad. The mouse man's hand gripped the bed tightly as his chest heaved - up and down, up and down rapidly as if his lung were being squeezed or crushed. A hard lump formed in Chrys' throat, almost like a big rock.
Blood - it flowed down from Jade's lip and down his face. No. The heaving stopped, the gasping gone into thin air. Chrys jumped over and pried the mouses mouth open to release to blood that was drowning him - there was no mistake; that blood wasn't supposed to come from his throat.

Dark numbness with a pain in his chest, that was the only feeling he had. Like he was drowning.

I'll be gone. And you'll never see me again.

>>There! He moved into the room, flicking on the light with his shoulder before setting the male onto the bed. He looked over his shoulder at the canine, trying to push his rising emotions back down into his stomach<< He suddenly just fainted. >>Why wouldn't he stop trembling? Why wouldn't he wake up? He was going to be alright, right?...Right? It was hard to keep his composure, eyes flicking from Jade to Laz to Chrys and back to Jade. It was all it could do to keep from going completely insane when he saw the blood. All that blood...<< No...no... Whats going on? I didn't hurt him...I barely touched him!

Chrys? >>The male grabbed her hand, dragging her with him<< Chrys?! >>They walked through the door, her eyes widening again as Jade was lowered to the bed. Oh...dear god...<< Internal bleeding. Blood from the mouth typically means somethings wrong with his lungs. I'll go call 911...where's your phone?
PostPosted: Sat Jul 26, 2008 6:28 pm

(( Home early for family.))

He looked swiftly to Lazereth as he handed her his cellphone, a small black phone; his eyes were shaking in fear - she had the same theory as he did. Internal bleeding. A common death for rats and mice. A prominent condition in his family - he knew this because it wasn't so long ago he had to accompany Jade to a funeral to bury his youngest brother.
A lot had happened between the two of them; he couldn't believe Jade wouldn't have told him. He was having trouble breathing lately so it wasn't like it just had happened all at once. Something must have aggrivated it further - and he was assuming Kisten was partly to blame. But... he seemed sincere enough about it - whatever. It wouldn't help to point fingers now anyway.

He looked to Jade to make sure he was still breathing. He was - but it was a struggle for air. His gasping for air sounded like the first night they had met; that night he had become a demon. For telling those cats where he was hiding was his first sentence to hell; watching him suffer for a while was the seal to it.
He almost cried, but pensively held it in - his pride told him to stay brave for now. And he obeyed it's every command if it kept him calm - if it kept him out of hell for a few minutes. "Laz, get an ambulance here - but get some doctors HERE. We don't have time to ship him back to the hospital - he'll die before he gets there at the rate he's bleeding."
He gave Kisten a short look. "He just fainted?"

>>He nodded quickly...before slowly shaking his head<< It was a serious conversation. I...I was scared. I didn't want him to love me, and so I was trying to get him to stop. He started shaking then, and...and then... >>The hybrid sharply turned around, a hand shifting through his soft golden hair<< It wasn't anything that could have caused this though. No sudden movements, no flashing, no hitting of any sort... >>He tightly closed those blue eyes, feeling them water at the prospect of his friend dying<< God Jade...I should have just left after the bats.

>>As soon as she got the phone, the female flipped it open and promptly dialed 911 as she walked towards the hallway<< Whats the address? ...Hello? I need an ambulance stat. A friend is hurt, looks of internal bleeding, possibly trauma induced...No...no known relatives nearby...Can we just get someone down here? A doctor or two too, before he goes into Cardiac arrest...Place of residence... >>She looked at Chrys<<

"Two eleven Harpford Avenue, it's the only house in the neighborhood." he spoke through grinding teeth, his eyes filling to the brim. He couldn't hold it back any longer - the guilt of what he had done and having to re-live the memory. He should be the one in the bed, not Jade.
One tear fell - he let his pain slide down his cheek. He looked back over at Kisten, his teeth gritting.

"Don't be stupid. If he loves you like you say he does then leaving would just hurt him worse - then I really would blame you." the nose of the wolf scrunched in anger. "And if you care about him you won't run while he's down."

>>At the others anger, Kistens fur started to tuff up, a low warning growl sounding from him. Yes...his husky side could get upset. Angry. Furious. How DARE Chrys judge him?! The male looked to the side at the wolf, blue eyes turning red in the whites as he kept from crying<< I wasn't turning to leave. I would NEVER leave him like this. >>His voice was harsh, gaze warning. Chrys was wounded, making Kisten the dominate male there. It was time the other was reminded of that<< Especially since your partly to blame. Your run in with the bats no doubt stressed out his body further.

...211 Harpford Avenue...yes. Thank you. >>She flipped the phone close, and handed it back to chrys<< Jeeze, both of you, shut up. Getting pissed at one another isn't helping Jades situation. Kisten, you go out and keep an eye out for the ambulence, since you're the most able bodied. We're out in the middle of the forest. Some help would be appreciated by them. I'm going to go into the kitchen and fetch some clean water incase the doctor needs it, so Chrys you got to stay here and keep an eye on Jade. Yell if he starts getting any worse. Fair enough? >>someone had to keep a level head<<

A growl surged in his throat - he was just about to respond when Lazereth came in. She was right on all levels - pointing fingers wouldn't solve anything, especially now. Even Kisten had a good point - but he was more to blame than even that hybrid knew.

If anything, if Jade died now Chrys would feel like a murderer.

He sat on the bed and tilted Jade's head to the side so the blood would flow more. His own chest throbbing.

"Kisten, man, I'm sorry." he looked towards Lazereth, his own smile faded. "Thanks."

>>He winced at lazereth and nodded before looking back at Chrys<< ...Yeah...sorry. Just a little...edgy. >>He offered a tentive smile before walking out of the room, moving into a smooth jog to get outside. He almost wished he'd run into those bats...he wanted to make them pay for their part in Jades situation<<

>>Her gaze softened as the others smile died, moving her head once in acknowladgement<< Don't mention it...Cura has had some pretty close ones...enough to give me enough experience to be a low ranking nurse. I'll be back in a moment. Yell if anything changes. >>The female gently touched the wolfs shoulder in comfort before walking towards the door after the hybrid. What a day<<

It was only a while before the ambulance got to the house, and to be honest I didn't know if Jade would make it through the small time it took them - he hadn't gotten any worse, but it wasn't like he was in great shape to begin with. His gasps were enough to drive any man mad, it was like on a war ground laying beside your best friend who just stepped on a landmine and was in pieces before you but still barely alive. There was enough blood for it to be convincing of that, I'm sure. It was all I could do; to tilt his head the right way so he wouldn't choke on himself now.

Once the doctors got there it was a long process in which they shoo'ed us all out of the room - it was all I could do not to burst in and watch what they could possibly be doing to him now. Kisten and Lazereth seemed concerned too, but as far as I was concerned nothing existed right now. I felt so numb that I couldn't bring myself to cry anymore than I had before - which wasn't much, but it was enough.

I tapped my foot impatiently beads of sweat on my face.

Chrys sat on the couch patiently, beads of sweat rolling down his face. He gripped onto Lazereth's shirt nervously, his teeth gritting more than ever. The doctors wouldn't let him inside the small room, but he could imagine what they were doing to his frail sickly body.

He didn't say a word to Kisten or Lazereth; but his eyes reflected everything he felt.

>>the pup sat alone in a corner, his eyes closed as if in slumber, but he was still very much awake. He wanted to leave, but couldn't abandon Jade. He wanted to cry, but he was the alpha male. He wanted to hit something, but the bats never showed up. He hated this. He hated waiting...it was almost more then the male could stand<<

>>Lazereth remained curled up on a recliner chair, still in her deep crimson bikini from before. One arm was flopped over the side, allowing index finger to play with the glass of water she had brought for herself. Waiting was always the worse part. She looked at Chrys. This was no doubt a look into a much deeper problem with the mouse...Jade would never completely recover from this. They all knew that. She looked back down at the water, fighting down her own worry, but for her sisters, not the male anthro. Cura could be getting into another stupid stunt of hers...and where was she? Helping out a man she hardly knew. It was going to be a long night<<

Chrys was still very numb - he couldn't bring himself to care much about anything that was happening other than Jade. And even then he couldn't get himself to cry, to even show much emotion at all. His eyes reflected all of his inner workings, but the rest of him was cold.

He stood up without much color in his face as soon as a doctor walked out of the small room; the tall man took of his glasses and bore bad news. Of course - just what he needed. More of it.
The man explained with a low voice.

"It's far worse than most cases we've seen, my good sir. But this treatment we give him will test him no doubt - it's make or break for this fellow so we'll give it our best shot. In the meantime it's best that you all sleep and try not to worry."

His hair stood up on end - did this doctor know what the hell he was doing? He looked at the nametag. Surgeon. He was a surgeon.

So that meant... No. They were going to cut him open. The surgeon shut and locked the door before Chrys could even argue - something smelled bad here. Three surgeons - one Jade.

He sighed.
"I'm sorry to both of you. This can't be great for either of you... You both can leave in the morning, and I'll take care of Jade."
