Bene looked up from her book. She thought she had heard someone come in. Then she determinded that it had been her imagination. Looking back down she noticed something or someone under the table next to hers. "Hello?" She whispered to whatever it was underneath the table. "Are you ok?" She said getting up slowly and walking to the other table. She bent over and saw a wolf. "Oh!" She shouted as she fell backwards.

Yuki walked in and sighed. she was really not feeling herself at all. She decided to just find a table and rest her head on her arm.

jerking a bit in surprise, Hawk blinked at her for a moment before understanding. she was not used to wild animals.. and then again, most people werent in this area. shakeing his head he prowled from under the table, keeping his head down and his movements relaxed as he made his way to Bene's side. sitting down not even a foot from her, he let his ears twitch forward and tried to look harmless. for a red wolf, a fair bit bigger than a normal wolf, it was hard to seem non-threatening.

Bene sat up and saw a huge red wolf sitting not far from her. "Whoa. I've only read about you guys." She mused inching closer. She felt a bit sill talking to the wolf but she couldn't help it. She was compelled to speak to it. "May I scratch your head?" She held out her hand slowly showing she didn't have anything. She inched closer still to the wolf. "Oh your coat is so lovely. But you look like you just had a fight." SHe frowned. "You aren't going to bite me are you?" She stopped raising an eyebrow.

his ear twitched and he gave her a quizical look. people usualy ran from him, not complamented his fur. amused by her actions he just snorted, moveing close enough for her hand to touch the top of his head. thoughtfuly he kept still, trying to make sure he didnt startle her. he glanced breifly tward her table, thinking of the books he had helped her find. one wrong move to scare this one, and he would end up with a little more than a sun burn.

"Oh.."She whispered. She scratched the wolf's head. It seemed friendly enough. "Are you male or female I wonder? How can you tell? I've never seen seen a wild animal before. Do you have marks to tell males and females apart?" Bene said looking at the wolf's forehead for a distinguishing mark.

shakeing with laughter he just gave her an amused look, takeing a step back and shifting to human. his indian features were relaxed as he sat cross legged infront of Bene, saying amused. " you could just ask.. though i think you know the answer now."

"Oh my!" Bene gasped as the wolf suddenly turned human. When he spoke she blushed at how foolish she must have seemed. "Wait you're the guy who got my books for me!" She exclaimed. She felt even more foolish. She could feel her face turn a deep shade of red.

he bowed his head, still trying to keep from laughing. judgeing by the way she was blushing she was uncomfterble, so he tried to seem indifferent to what had happened. noding to her table he raised an eyebrow. "they helped, yes?"

"Oh yes they helped quite a bit. Thank you." Bene answered glad for the change of subject. "They explained how one could control their powers and told what strengthen the power and what weakened it. They were very helpful indeed. However...they made no mention of the first sighting of that particular power. I was wondering if maybe you had a book about it?" Bene trailed off after her speech. Whenever she got embarrassed she would talk and talk and talk. It was so umcomfortable.

standing he offered her his hand, looking to the black book he had been reading. " i have a book of that knoledge, and i do not mind if you read it." really he didnt need it, and had planned on leaveing it in the shop before he had met her. how many other copies had he had.. he had written them after all. his best friend had been a light sage, and Hawk had written the books so he would remember.

Bene took the hand he offered. "Oh would you? I would appreciate it greatly." Suddnely Ben felt as though she was going to sneeze. And sneezing caused her to expell light and sometimes heat. her nose twicthed with the effort to not sneeze. "Oh no. Mustn't sneeze." She couldn't hold it in any longer. "Achoo!" Bene sneezed and light radiated from her and heat exploded from her so fast it caused at great wind. When things setteled down Bene looked around at the mess she had caused. "Oh I'm sorry."

a low chuckle escaped him, leaveing him shocked. he rarely laughed, never really ment it when he did. but it had been funny to him, and he didnt notice the amuse grin on his face as he stedied her with his hand on her arm. " its fine. you probibly feel better now, anyway." leaning over his table he grabed the black book, straitening and offering it to Bene. hesitiateing he raised an eyebrow at her. " i dont care what you do with it.. just dont show it around to people. alright?"
