"Ke nu jurkad sha Mando'ade, mir'osik." Jag remarked while the man was still in earshot. "You do well not to threaten me. Because while you may hurt me, I will kill you."

When the Bestinoid had left, Jag finished his drink with a sigh. "You'd think the little chakaar would have more important things to do in this day and age than pick fights with people who want to be left alone."

The Herglic shook his head in dismay. "This is not a civilized age, my friend. Pirates and Law work hand and hand to ruin us free traders. And even in our own ranks there are those who dont respect their brother spacer."

"Aint that the truth." Jag said. He set down payment for both his and teh Herglic's drinks then nodded to the big alien. "I'll see you at my bay with the cargo. I'll have you payment there."
Jag turned out the cantina, climbed into his truck, then drove off back to the Ruusan.

"Most people haven't zeen an Akk dog before, and those that have know them only from dee circus, used as savage beasts and treated rather cruelly," Mareal spoke up, noting the stranger who suddenly arrived at the transport.

"So vhat are you here for, spacer? Seeking employment? A ride? Or are you more interested in scaring spacehands by riding in like some ruffian?"

Xan's head snapped at the new voice. "Mon Ami, dee name is Xan. I'm here to pick up de cargo I'd be winnin' off yer cap'. I have dee contract in hand, but de cargo can wait. Tell me about yerself, mon chere."
PostPosted: Fri May 16, 2008 1:39 pm

Mareal's eyes closed, taking in a deep breath. "I'm not buying into it. You'd be fery vise to keep your head straight. Vhere is your proof dat you are de new owner of our cargo? For all I know, you could have schtolen it."

She gripped her pistol on her hip, jsut in case he tried something stupid.

"Thats all I know, aside from the fact that hes a free trader, and word is that he gets the job done, but you wouldn't want to be his competitor. Hes not a pirate if your worried about that." He set his forearms on the rail and shifted his weight down. It was still morning and a chill crept onto the boat for the sea, the breeze whipping at the side of the boat.

"Well, wit' te datapad bein' te proof, tere's little more I can do to show it elsewise. Unless of course, you call 'im up and confirm it from 'is lips. So 'ow's about yous and I goes out fer te rest 'o te day? I know a lit' spot off te main drag that might be interestin' to a lady o' your sorts?" Xan said, patting down the Akk Dog.

"And fluffy here won't bite. T'at be my job."

“Well tell me some of the rumors that you’ve heard then.” She asks, enjoying the crisp sea breeze. “Do you really think he’ll give me a job? I mean I just got my license; there ain’t much else I can offer, ‘cept that I’m young and a fast learner.”
PostPosted: Fri May 16, 2008 2:08 pm

"Fluffy? Is dat vhat you call dat ding?" Mareal stated. The creature was docile, and the man atop the beast had managed to tame it. She wondered how the strange fellow had tamed it, because he didn't have much of a connection to the Force. Taking her comlink into her hand, she dialed up the captain.

"Sir, dere'd be a man saying he vants to take our cargo from us," Mareal asked. She was calm and could easily tell that the man was legitament, but the years had taught her how to maintain the ruse of being normal. Jedi patience was unsettling for most people. Fringers would be less suspecting of someone with a shorter fuse.

"VHAAAT?" She yelled, as the captain had confirmed this. Her acting was hopefully believable. She snapped the comlink down and turned back to 'xan'.

"Dat space-happy Coruscanti-turned-Corellian. His gambling addiction vill be dee last of us. You can have the 3 kilotonnes of drugs to Muunilist. I quit!"

Mareal gave a huff and stomped off, heading for the closest cantina she could find. She would play some sabaac for some coin, and move along with the next crate. Times were unfriendly for Jedi these days.

It wasnt long after Jag returned to the Ruusan that the Herglic made good on his end of the deal. Repulsortrucks started pulling into the bay and Jag had to open a section of the ship's underside for them to start loading the unmarked duraplast crates. The loading droids Hans and Frans stalked over and began carefully packing the crates away carefully to avoid damaging them, their ordinance handling programing making sure the cargo wasnt jostled.

Jag was smirking as he watched them load the cargo up, then turned to the Herglic who had arrived in his own speeder.

"You use a warship as a transport?" he asked curiously.

"Not warship. Armed Freighter. With all the pirates these days one cant be too careful." Jag reached into his pocket and drew out a cred stick, tossing it to the Herglic who caught it easily.

"Thats your payment there." he said as the last of the crates was loaded up. "Nice doing buisness with you."

"Clear skies and calm seas, friend." The Herglic bid him as he pocketed the cred stick. The alien merchant and his trucks pulled out of the bay as Jag resealed the hull plating with the end result looking like the hull had never been opened at all.

The Mandalorian chuckled to himself as he cast a glance about the bay. "Now I just need some more crew and a cargo. Then I can get off this rock."

Kalin chuckled alittle at the fact he was onboard with another Corellian, a competitive looking one at that. He just knew they were gonna be drinkin' buddies.

Here's how it is, Blikk. The main deck; messy as all hell. In that cabinet over there are a bunch of cleaning supplies. Mops, brooms, brushes, anything you need. I'm gonna need you to clean the main deck. It'll take you a little less than an hour. It's the worst job on this boat, but it's gotta be done. I'm heading into the Rec room, so I won't be far if you need me. Have fun, Blikk. Hah!

Kalin was satisfied. This new kid didn't seem so bad and at least he was a fellow Corellian. All he wanted to do now was go crunch some durasteel before Jag set him to another task. Not that he minded the work, he just really enjoyed physical exercise.

Maybe if he's in a good mood tonight, I can get Jag to give me those sword lessons I've been buggin' him about...

"Wat's up wit 'er?" Xan asked innocently, as he watched the woman until she exited his view. She was rather strange, toting around an awful lot of weaponry for a space hand. He shrugged, as he patted his rifle on the custom mount. He himself wasn't too badly armed either.

The akk dog trotted off, nowhere near as fast as some of the various repulsorlift vehicles that drove around him. Most wouldn't want to run into the giant orange creature, and even if they did, the beast would probably repel the vehicles with it's own armored skin, before probably taking a bite. Still it was a good pup, and Xan didn't mind being noticed sometimes.

Stopping next to a terminal, the Fondorian began looking for the one ship which he had comissioned. Xan was notorious for being lucky, and while he had Jag comissioned, he hadn't actually ever asked about where the Ruusan was parked. Much to his delightful surprize, luck favored him again, as he gave a nudge to the dog, which bounded down the row of hangars back to the original cargo ship.

At the designated hangar, Xan dismounted, and walked in. The crew, still somewhat unnerved, looked at the Fondorian. He watched as they unloaded the 1 kiloton out of their holds. Xan would just have to move the cargo himself... metaphorically speaking, of course. The space hands on this ship were unlikely to do any more loading and unloading of the ship.

Pulling out his personal comlink, he dialed in the frequency of his current carrier.

"Jag, where'd be you now? I'd a be a needin' some 'ands to pick up meh cargo. You'll enjoy te location. It be only a five hangas down from yeh."

"Alright. I'll get right on it." Gairus grinned, and walked over to the supply closet. Gairus grabbed a bucket, and a mop, and proceeded to fill the bucket with water. He carefully carried the bucket to the center of the main deck, and began mopping the passenger cabin floors. Gairus slowly moved from room to room, and a good ten minutes later, the passenger cabins were complete. Gairus then began to mop the hub which connected all the cabins.

Marael stepped into the Spiced Mug, the closest thing she found. Several games were already in session, as she walked up to the one with the most credits on the table. It was back in the corner, naturally.

"Vhat's a girl got to do to get in a game around here?" She asked innocently. The guys at the tables were no pushovers, but that's what made the money good. But they were still men, and it could hurt to try to get away with whatever you could.

"I've got one dousand on me. Vill dat doo?"

The men looked around, unsure of the offer. Mareal pulled the small pouch from her back, underneath her long jacket, and placed five hundred on the table.

"De rest comes vith de clothes," she said seductively, as the men reluctantly dealt her a hand.

As the Mandalorian was walking up the ramp of his ship, his comlink buzzed.
Snapping it up he answered it.
"Jag here."

"Jag, where'd be you now? I'd a be a needin' some 'ands to pick up meh cargo. You'll enjoy te location. It be only a five hangas down from yeh."

It was a Fondorian associate of Jag's: Xan Rood. It was his cargo that Jag was waiting on to load up and deliver. And the barve was three days later than he said he'd be.

"Rood you Di'kut!" Jag barked into his comlink. "Where the hell have you been?! I've been rotting in this port for a week with no cargo and no word from you!"

Kalin rode the lift down a floor, to the main level. Blikk was hard at work already. Kalin walked straight past him and addressed him with a mentor-ish tone.

Impressive, Blikk. When your done with this, ya can join me in here for a good sweat, if ya care to.

The doors slid open and shut behind him as he entered the rec room. He dropped his bag of stuff and took off his shirt. He walked over to a bench-press and began pushin' alot of weight.
