Hey Bribble, I think you should make the poses more "forced". If he's pulling on that chain to make her give him a drink, he doesn't look too "caring"... ya know what I mean? It just looks like he's holding the chain and she just so happens to be a little "afraid" of him.... Look for some poses or references of something much more dramatic than what's going on there.
Otherwise, keep up the drawing guys/gals! :]
