Sakura opened her eyes and started to stand up. Ghost shook his mane and sighed before galloping around the herd so he wouldn't be stiff.

Whisper snorted and tossed his head, the stallion was getting restless.
"I'll be back." He said to Arina. He galloped away from the herd, he knew they'd be safe with Arina, but kept within hearing distance. He galloped to his full speed. But he caught the scent of something strange. He stopped abrubtly and turned toward the source of the scent. He went over a small hill and looked below. What he saw made him tremble. A machine, spewing a nasty oily scent sat below him. Whisper backed up and whickered softly to himself. Then he turned and ran back to his herd.
"Arina!" He cried as he mounted the last crest. "Arina!" He skidded to a halt before her. "There's....something.....down there." He gasped, out of breath. "I only saw one, but I'm sure there's more! It was something I've never seen or smelt in my entire life." He trembled slightly.
((And you can take it wherever you want it. Hope ya don't mind. Thought I'd add extreme drama.))

Hearing Whisper sending out a cri to a Arina made Sundancer jump and back up before nickereing wildly over to her filly.
Lucky hearing her mother's nicker she nuzzled Max once more before speeding quickly around and gallop over to her mother. Lucky pressed against Sundancer's side as her dam stood protectivly over her covering her from view.

((hiyas!!)) Arabiana squealed, dashing to Flame who was grazing nearby. Arabiana nuzzled her flank, squealing uncontrolalbly.
Flame brought her head around to comfort the filly. Also alerted by Whisper she flung up her head and loked around. Flame stamped her feet, one at a time. She also was getting restless.

Ari and Azumi moved closer to Sundancer and the others. Azumi trotted to Lucky's side. He was unsure of what the warning meant.

Lucky was scared. It showed in her eyes. She looked at Azumi prancing around. She gently nudged him for confort.
Sundance looked at her filly and snorted softly, nuzzling the top of her head before turning back to look at Whisper and Arina, waiting for a command to run.

The fire and fight showed through Whisper's eyes.
"The smell." He snorted. "Was terrible. But what was even worse were the two leggeds! To be frank I don't know what to do. Leave and find another valley, or stand our ground. However I have no wish to be driven out of my home by intruders!"

Max galloped over to his mother and stood at her side, waiting to hear her disicion.
Arina nodded her head and turned to the rest of the herd and said, "Everyone, stay calm and follow me. Whisper. You take up the rear and make sure everyone keeps up and there are no stragglers." She then turned in the direction opposite from the way Whisper had come and gallopped off with Max at her side.

"i wanna mommie!!" wailed Arabiana as she tried to bury her head.
"Arabiana, we have to leave, now!" Flame nuzzled the filly, making her run next to her flank as she turned and ran toward Arina, with the filly at her flank/heels.

Sundancer nipped Lucky's flanks sending her to bleet and run her fastest, Sundancer galloping after her filly.

Ari ran with Azumi easily keeping up. The young colt's strong legs pumped, his already forming muscles rippling beneath his golden coat. He caught up with Lucky. Memories from when the old lead stallion had kicked the month old Azumi and his dam out of the herd flashed through his mind.

She kept running until they were far away from the intuders, on the very edge of their territory. She was sure that the herd was safe and slowed to a halt, looking around to make sure everyone was there.
Max slowed beside his mother, somewhat tired. He stood at her side as they looked around, his black coat glistening with sweat.

Arabiana whimpered, flopping down. her legs were tired, and she was hungry. Going over to Sundancer, she sniffed around and started to nurse. her tail was flopping up and down. Then after she had her food, Arabiana went back to her step dam. laying down, Arabiana slept, for she was tired.
Flame nuzzled her filly contently. No more running, at least for now. Sighing, Flame laid down, her own body circling that of Arabiana's, to protect her. Flame cuddled Arabiana while she was sleeping. And so, both Flame and Arabiana fell asleep.

Whisper ran behind the herd. Always glancing behind him. When they finally stopped, he went to Arina's side.
"I didn't see any stragglers." He said, breathing heavily from his earlier gallop and this run. He leaned against a nearby tree. "What do the two-legs want with our home?"

Arina shook her head and nuzzled Whisper before saying, " I don't know. I haven't seen many before in my life, and never any in the valley..."
Max shook his black mane and laid down.
