"Reg Black." she stated simply, staring at Josh still. "You can't be the same bloke that was at the auditions... You're too young to be in that band and he said...." she trailed off, the biting of her lower lip indicating she was troubled before she let it alone.

"I guess you haven't been notified by him yet, then. S'hard for him to make any calls out right now, so that would make sense. I really don't wanna spoil any of it, for you. Um.. Right." she looked back to her notepad and finished jotting it all down. Holy hell did her dad would have some explaining to do, not to mention fighting to get this kid into the band if her mom had any say.

She could see why he liked him and such, but he was still underage, even if he was super tall and possibly mature for his age.

"Reg has a daughter." Godfrey stated simply, wrinkling his nose cutely in confusion, with a sort-of smile on his face.

"We were there, really! Re- your Dad knocked London off the stage and gave him a bloody nose, and Lavender had less clothes on than the last time we saw her!" Lavender was kind of an odd duck.

"Wow! So who's your mum, if you don't mind me asking?" He needed to know in case she also had hypnotic boobs, so he could be prepared. Plus she was the one who was making Reg go to rehab so her boobs must be ten times as hypnotising.

Godfry had never thought about boobs so much in his life. He was going to have one of those dreams again.

"Oh... I've heard of that program. " From Voldemort. "Uh.. from a book I mean. I like reading. But not your mum's book. I mean, I haven't read it."

" But Reg seems like the type to not do anyting if he doesn't want to." Godfrey tried to straighten out his words. Sounded like it sucked there. He just hoped they were really helping Reg get off the drugs if he wanted to be. "Your mum's b- program.... I mean your mum must be hard to resist."

To make matters worse, he was not only talking to the daughter of a guy he suspected wasn't really keen on him, he was having a hard time not staring at Mari's womanly bits as thy were walking- so bouncy- and them to top it off he tripped and nearly fell over, catching himself on a lamp post.

"So!" He said cooly yet enthusiastically, wondering why he had never before felt so awkward. Probably because Reg seemed like he'd gut him and use his innards to write his therapy to do lists on if he caught him hypnotized by his daughter's boobies like that.

"Well, I'm really tired anyways." He stretched amd half-faked a yawn.

She frowned a bit, turning so she was walking backwards, rather light on her feet and coordinated. "Well, Mum's not really the bad guy in this. I know it's really easy to make it like that...and a lot of people don't think her program works, but.." she gave a little shrug, sighing softly.

"The stuff he does isn't to escape anything or...just for fun, even Dad said he's basically doing it to function. S'not good. To wake up and have to take it just to want to move. And when we actually had a healer look at him they wanted to know how he was even standing with how malnourished and dehydrated he was... Let alone after he was attacked."

"S'really why he's in there. He and my mum have a lot of...well, bad blood between them, but she doesn't want anything to happen to him. He'd pissed someone off, some Death Eaters, I think, and they nearly killed him. My younger brother Hugo just happened to call and realized he was in trouble, so I don't even know what would have happened if they hadn't been able to interrupt it." she talked freely, feeling more at ease and had been really, really wanting to talk about it with someone else who wasn't completely biased and on either Reg or Hermione's side.

Josh hooked his arms around Godfrey's legs again, carrying him easy again now that he had a slight rest.

"As long as it helps more than hurts I don't see that it's a bad thing. Better be trapped and hurting but get better than be where you wanna be, dying. And I get the need for punishment if you don't listen or whatever, but s'a phone. Not gunna put someone in a corner with nothing to do and expect them to wanna listen... s'weird. Like, conflicting sort of." Josh sniffed, the cool night air making him feel like a cold might be coming on.

"Not just because the situation, but cuz they had a thing together too. But that's why he was with, who, that Sadie chick, yeah?" Josh leaned his head back so he could seeGodfrey but couldn't get much of a look so gave up. "That'd be totally cool, go see him. They have like a family friends day at that place? Heh."

Josh could be so smart a lot of the time, even if it was said oddly or about odd things. " Josh, you are so smart at things you want to be smart at."

He hugged Josh around the shoulders appreciatively. He couldn't be with someone who was dumb or wasn't intelectually stimulating, really. " And I knew you were going to get that spot."

"What? Why would he do that, not tell? Seems really silly not to... that's weird." Josh disentangled one arm from Godfrey's leg so he could rub at his eyes, smudging his eyeshadow unintentionally. "Heh, wasn't really thinking like it was a place for dangerous people, though... it's not like, a hospital, it's like... almost house arrest. For much scarier dudes. Damn." Josh rubbed at his eyes more, feeling like he got something in one of them, one eye tearing up slightly.

"s**t. But uhm they can't fix him up with magic? There's no like, magical detox method thing? Seems like it'd be pretty useful to figure that s**t out." confused Wizards made spells, cures, charms for such unnecessary seeming things. A potion to cure your system from drugs would be high on Josh's list of inventions if he wasn't such a joke at magic.

" I know I wouldn't tell a secret if I was protecting someone." Godfrey commeted, thinking again of Voldemort.

"Not all of them are scary, Josh. But lots are. I think I would piss myself running into Bellatrix Lestrange or Augustus Rookwood. Do you know he's rumoured to be a cannibal?"

In all this was turning out to be a much better time then the concert. Godfrey liked meeting new people and it seemed they would have met Mari anyway somehow. Plus he already donated the money so it all seemed good to him.

"Reg has it right. You can get too dependant on magic, get oversaturated. Thats why I hate using it to cook. Plus, If a potion does it for you, how do you know its not a lie? What if you have to keep taking it over and over just to keep sane? It's only switching one addiction for the other without getting to the root of the real problem."

Definitely an interesting night.
