Celestina flicked Ialu in the head before standing up to pick at a loaf of bread to warn him not to do anything rash. She tore a piece off the loaf of bread on the table and began to nibble off it. She stared at the new guy, wondering the same things. Ialu slinked over and sat next to Celestina and leaned against her leg, staring at the guy aswell. Wobling slightly at the new weight at her side, Celestina gave Ialu, a piece of her bread to distract him for a second so things wouldn't seem too wierd, but Ialu kept staring.

Seifer raised an eyebrow. It was pretty clear that nobody was particularly pleased at his intrusion. "...A lack of direction. What has been going on in our nation over the past few days?" He figured at least to get the ball rolling and avoid tension early. He straightened his gauntlets as he listened for a response.

Violet stared at him a minute before answering him. "Really right now nothing has or is happening. We are trying to plan some kind of attack/alliance with certain others but it's probably not going to go anywhere at the moment. What's been going on outside our nation?" She raised an eyebrow at the question she asked. He seemed kind of nervous playing with his gauntlets, but then again, there might be nothing wrong.

Seifer looked up from his gauntlets after hearing a few specific words, "What 'certain others'? Either way, it has been utter chaos. Did you not see the smoke permeating in the south western skies? Also, water's campaign to invade the western coast of the earth nation and take Omgitt Jord has ended in failure. We've lost some forces there as well." In the back of his mind, Seifer began to wonder. Perhaps it was that fact that the royalty wasn't as heavily involved in military form but it seemed bizarre to spend so much idle time in the wake of so much that has allready passed.

Rajin scurried into view again, this time his head was caught in a jar, that looked to have once housed something sweet inside. His tongue was quickly working on the last traces of anything that might have been left at the bottom. His head looked weird and distorted from the shape of the glass. He glanced at the crowd now in the room, then scurried back into the main kitchen, where pots and pans where clanking together as Vincent was working on the meal. "Well at the moment, all our forces can really do is either attack another nation and try to claim more for the fire nation, or hold our borders and try to defend ourselves. Personally I would rather keep what I have now and not be part of the nonsense going on around us, then to attack one of our neighbors and add to it." Vincent yelled from the main kitchen.

Seifer's eyes wandered to the doorway of the main kitchen doorway as he heard the man's words comming from within. "Well, what about the state of our western mountain range? Should we wrest control of them from Air? It will close a hole in our borders." Seifer yelled back toward the inner kitchen door in response.

Celestina watched Rajin in amusement while Ialu stiffined when the little dragon intered the room. However, he was settleing down and not making so much of a fit at all the fire. The only unfortunate thing was, she had no idea what to do. She wasn't military or roaylty and had absolutely no idea what to do, so she just sat back and waited for orders, or food.

Violet looked towards the main kitchen as Vincent spoke and then back to Seifer once again. "I say we go for it. Air has barely any watch over it at the moment and they should have never taken it in the first place." She shrugged off the wall behind her, now more excited at the thought of an actual fight. She wanted something to do that had a purpose other than trying to 'make peace'.

"I say we take back that which was once ours, but no more. If they wish to retailiate. then we shail hold our ground. At the very least, when all the dust settles, no one could blaim us as the bad guys." He smirked with that comment, but no one could see it considering he was still in the main kitchen. "However, do we wish to keep someone here to keep an eye for others who might be coming?" (Hint, NPC...)

Blamelessness... If only it were that simple. Someone has to be the bad guy or we would be doomed to remain stagnant. "I can arrange a defense force. It is my occupation after all." Seifer raised his hands about to shoulder level and put his hands together. He was surprised to finally get a rise out of someone.

((Nope, got bored of making a treaty. That's no fun anyway. :] Fire is a way better nation than Air. pffft. also at this point they don't want to befriend us anyway.))
'Finally, a battle plan.' Violet smiled, totally ready to take action at anytime. Of course, she didn't want to just hold their ground until all was well, but she would give it time and see if there was another move that seemed imminent. "Well, I say we get the troops together and head over there. We shouldn't have even let them keep it as long as they have." She knew she was probably rushing into battle, but she wanted to get out of here. The place already felt like it was closing down around her.

Celestina looked up then at Violet's words. "Wait! But I want food... Can't we wait for that?" She looked around the group and realized she was whining. She quickly looked down and started over. "I mean, Vincent's been working on dinner, can't we at least wait for it?" She mumbled slightly. She was feeling like a child, but her stomach was killing her and the food was begining to smell really good.

"Well, nobody is saying we must depart immediately. We're just setting some short term goals and movement plans, that's all." He crossed his arms and looked to find a nearby seat to rest.

"Well I might also suggest that we split up and have someone keeping a watch on our other boarders as well. Rather we wish to push air out first or not is another story, but we should at least have a scout or something to let us know when we are being invaded again." Vincent yelled from the main kitchen once again. "Oh and someone might want to get our other guest in here as well. It would appear that he is meandering somewhere in the castle... Rajin wasn't exactly sure where at the moment, but he did here another person in the hallway not to long ago." Rajin, the slender red dragon, popped back out of the kitchen and puffed out his chest in pride. A little honey still stuck on his head from the jar he had just licked clean.
