Juko made sure the guards did not see him as he walked towards the castle once more.

Alaric walked in, closing the door behind him. He felt relieved that he could talk without worrying about the prying ears of the guards now.
"So, let me guess. His usual 'don't do that again' lecture, right? Can't think of anything else to get you in a mood like this..." he said, sitting on a wooden stool as he faced her, waiting for her reply.

Ashley sat back on the end of her bed and she tried to wipe the tears from her eyes so that Alaric wouldn't noticed them but even she knew that it was silly he had already seen her crying.
There was a short moment of silence which she tried to break but couldn't say anything with out crying
Ashley felt pathetic and useless.
"Not that I just Hate that I am forced to live here in the castle and when I leave I am in trouble I hate living like this I want to understand more about the world but I'm stuck in a cage and when I try to escape I am in trouble"

"Ah, hey, relax , don't take it so hard... You know your father can be a bit thick-headed sometimes, don't let it get to you like this... And I understand how you feel, but you gotta understand that your curiosity could kill you... So don't be sad about your situation..." he said, walking over to her and sitting on her bed, looking at her, trying to cheer her up with a smile, "Besides, you look better when your happy, you know."
He waited, hoping that made her feel somewhat better... Maybe it would, maybe it wouldn't. He wasn't that good at helping people out in situations like these, since he couldn't really relate to them...

He returned the hug, trying to be as much a friend to her as he could, figuring he had succeeded in making her feel better.
"Now, this would be the time your father walks in, just because this would be the worst possible time, right?" he said, humorously.

Juko reached the gate, but ran towards the wall, making sure he wasn't seen. He scaled the wall and sat at the top. He saw two gaurds in training sparring and watched a little.

"Oh, damn," Alaric said, suddenly sensing the intimacy of the environment, "We really can't be like this, can we...?"
He detached from the hug, remembering his status. Knights and nobility weren't meant to be together, and he had to remember that. He coughed, looking at the ground, a bit embarrassed, a bit ashamed. He wasn't sure why, but he was. He stood.
"So, you're feeling better, I hope...?" he asked, trying to change the mood.

Juko got bored and jumped up to the tower. "What a sight, human romance is always interesting."

"It's fine," Alaric said, realizing that he had thrown her into a slight confusion, "Well, I'm glad you're better, at least... And it's not your fault, it's mine. Let's just keep this encounter out little secret though, alright? If word spreads that I even so much as embraced you in a hug, the king'll have my head..."
Alaric looked at the ceiling, thinking about how the king would go about doing that. Would he? Alaric certainly wouldn't put it past him, but then, he didn't know... He walked to the window, watching the recruits spar, seeing if any of them were following his techniques. It was hard to tell from up where he was.
"So, about earlier... Have you talked with your father about maybe visiting some other village or something, another castle even?" he said, turning his head away from the window to look at her, trying to remedy her problem.
