Eventually we came to a door at the end of the corridor. This must be where Elf is, the toy seemingly thought. Faces tell everything about what you're thinking.

*MK swiped his card and gave teh door a quick forceful shove*

As the door opened, a cold blast of air went out. The whole room was dark, save for the light that was coming from the entrance. It was a mess in here. Broken glass and ripped papers were everywhere. Some weapons were here and there on the floor. An unopened envelope sat on a table. Metal was squeaking idly in the background. However, there was no reply.

*MK focused and formed a ball of LGHT in his hand in an attempt to illuminate the room better. He walked over to the envelope, seemingly the only thing unruined in the room. He cautiously looked about to the sound of the metal as well*
...Elf? Are you here??

As soon as the room was lit up, something metallic and orange ran by, possibly trying to not be seen. Glass cracked in the air a little. The squeaking was replaced by a steady clanking noise. As always, there was no reply again.

There was a soft wheeze. The clanking noise got slightly nearer, though it was hard to tell where it was coming from. The toy seemed rather calm, and glanced by to MK again to see his reaction.
(( Sorry, I keep getting stuff to do outside. xD ))

*MK stood his ground, confident that whatever was going on, it would show itself rather soon. He looked upon the toy in slight amazement, wondering why it was as it was, or who perhaps had made it*

A flare jumped to life, revealing who it was that caused all that stuff. It turns out that it was only a robot who seemed to enjoy the fact that MK was here. It wheezed again and walked up to him, offering a handshake. (( Somehow, I feel wrong after sticking my drawing in there. Is it even okay to do that, m'lord? D: ))

The robot shook its head sadly and withdrew its hand / mitten. It picked up a photo from the ground and showed it to MK. It was one of Elf and Metal together.

It nodded, putting a mit on one of MK's shoulders, and motioning to the unopened envelope. Then it turned away and walked off to a weapons crate to search about in it.

The robot shut the crate, having found nothing that pleased him. It threw the now burnt out flare lazily away and boredly played with a shard of glass.
