The anime is fun because you get to see Host Club antics... in ACTION! ;D
But I still prefer the manga, and the additional side-characters that didn't make the cut. (Like Mori's little brother! Sniff!) It's longer and a little wittier, though the satirical charm has been slightly watered down to make room for upcoming dramatic intent.
Still!
It's fabulous. ;D
The anime was extremely well-done, though!

The manga by far. It took me a bit to get into it, since of the artwork and reading the story over again, but I soon got into it. The only thing I hate about it, is that the manga scans take around 1-2 weeks for them to be translated.

Manga, cuz it's the original.
When they make it into the anime they leave stuff out or change it. emo

manga..because it's the original one and the story's much better there.. whee
whenever a manga gets turned into an anime, there's almost always a lot of fillers, changes and not much personal touch..so MANGA!!!

kurapi-x3 Well...both manga and anime versions good! I prefer the anime though~ sometimes the reactions of the characters are humorous and can't be portrayed through manga. Sometimes that is. <3 I agree. It's hard to portray some really funny moments in the manga sometimes that they can in the anime.

The anime is good 'cause it can portray the characters reactions better sometimes. But I like the manga better just because its the original work.

the anime was gorgeous and the colors just...enchanted me!!
