Reiki jumped, across the river and had successfully landed. He didn't stop for a rest or a drink by the river. He went on. So that he could be on time to stop whatever or whoever from starting 'something'.
But Reiki had time to pray in his heart that his sister would not detect him.
Shoot. Now that I think about that....I forgot to put up a barrier around my smell.
He then used his inner chi, to make his smell invisible to other noses. Reiki then smiled, noticing that the border is now in view.
But he also detected something.
Boss?...

"okay i'm close" Miiro said skidding to a stop and letting off a howl "if he wants to see me then that ought to make it easy to hone in on my location" he said thinking aloud before sitting on his haunches

Once Reiki heard a howl, he confirmed that its the Boss. He changed direction, onwards to the sound of the howl, which would also lead him to the Border.
A few more leaps...
Reiki jumped onto the halved broken boulder, and leaped. He stopped, breathes in air and muttered, "Boss, Shinzui-san..No. Its the Dark Clan."

Yuuki's head turned towards the eastern border. His eyes were sharp and though he could not see what was going on, his senses were telling him to leave the river town. Akki watched her companion and knew something was up. She gave an apologetic bow to the man and started her long, journey back the the Fire clan.
Once she reached south end of the town she felt it was safe to speak openly with Yuuki.
"what do you think is going on...?"She asked in a soft voice
'nothing that concerns us' Yuuki answered her telepathically.

Reverting to his human form "wait what?" he said scratching his head "catch your breath, i don't see why we need to hurry" besides, i need a rest too...man i've been neglecting my physical condition

Reiki knelt, caught his breath, having his heart to beat normal, then he started.
"A while ago, there was an intruder in the Earth Clan, and Shinzui-san came to fend him off. During the fight, the Zero Tower...." Reiki stopped to think.
"I didn't know the whole story about the fight. But as soon as I have reached the forest, Shinzui-san .. self-.." He shook his head and remembered what Getsuei said.
"Shinzui-san had become a spirit. For now, I can't say that the Dark Clan may be exploiting something, however, something in the air that makes me assume that they are 'moving'."

Akki pouted a little. Yuuki gave her an 'don't-even-start-with-me' look. He knew Akki all to well, though she had sworn after her brothers death to never fight again or get involved with anything that would lead to wars of any kind, he knew that it was just in Akki's blood to go see, and help.Her father long ago predicted that his daughter would be the greatest Fire wielder ever to born and that she would cause much destruction ever she truly fought with all her spirit, thankfully her parents managed to keep her from fighting and wars, but Yuuki knew that she could not keep away from her destiny for much longer.The fight she would get into now and again never called for much finesse or skill, and were easily won.
They were in the forest now, well away from the village and anyone who could see them.She stopped and reached into a small pouch attached to her hip, and took out a small round thing, that looked like grass all mashed up together.
"do you want to fly home or take the short-cut with me?"She looked over at her companion who stood next to her.He ruffled his feathers and got up on her shoulder.
"short-cut it is then" She held out the little grass ball in her palm. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes and when she opened them again to look at the grass ball it was engulfed in white fire.With a quick flash of blinding light enveloped them both. The light disappeared and so did they.

"shinzui became a spirit long ago" Miiro said confused "but if dark clan's involved, you were right to check it out..i think i'll join you" Miiro stretched and adjusted his buster sword on his back "if we follow the river, we shouldn't run into much more than shrubs"

"Right." Reiki felt like smacking himself. Of course, both Shinzui and Getsuei are the same.
He stayed in his fox form. "Alright." Reiki stepped up, making sure he's closed to Miiro.
But wouldn't your health be affected?

"well if my father's spirit was in danger i doubt even Getsuei would keep his cool" Miiro said relieved "he probably was just doing something risky and got himself in a bad situation...woah" Miiro reacted see'ing the golden trees as they came into view.

Reiki didn't recall any expression from Getsuei. "However..he did say he have something to attend to." He too noticed the trees and was actually slowing down.
"I would love it if I could communicate with those trees, but those kind..are never friendly..to me.."

Miiro eyes widened when he heard a roar coming from the trees "yuuka, what are you" he mumbled to himself before turning towards Reiki "you can create walls of vegitation can't you?"

Reiki did a last leap, and as he landed, Reiki transformed into his human-self.
He grabbed the seeds from the first pocket of his pouch and tossed it into the ground.
Reiki moved the seeds in the underground by using his chi, and the seeds moved up towards in between the two fighters. As they've reached up, Reiki muttered "Ike."
Thick stalks grew from the seeds, creating vines and twirling around each other. And rather quickly, they formed a wall between Yuuka and her opponent.
