"Thanks." she replied and without another moment in time she drifted off to sleep. Her chest heaved ever so softly, but she slept soundly. Listening to the rain, the breathing and heart beat to Auster.

He himself didn't sleep. He kept a wary eye on the entrance all night, waiting for morning. When the sun came up, he lifted his wing gently and moved to look outside.

A soft sound escaped her lips as her blanket moved. As the cold spring breeze overwhelmed her. Her eyes fluttered open. She got to her feet and walked to the entrance. The ground was wet from last nights rain still. She leaned against the cave wall looking to the male with the tilt of her head.

He turned to meet her. "Good morning," he murmured, tail swishing in the breeze. "Did you sleep well?"

She smiled, "Yeah." she replied. "I'd hate to intrude on another day of your so I should probably be getting home." Though she said it regretfully it was true.

She smiled, "Don't wish it, I just have loved ones I must see. They're probably worried." she looked to him. "Will I see you again?"

He blinked, looking a little startled that she wished to see him again. He just looked at her for a moment, before nodding slowly. "If.. you want to, I suppose."

"Great! See you around then." she smiled happily as she made her way completely out of the cave. She toddled back to him before nudging his cheek and with a look in her eye saying 'thanks.' And with that her wingspan widened and she took off into the skies.

He just shook his head at her and turned, heading back to his own empty home.
