My best friend showed me the DVD of the first 4 episodes and I was instantly hooked. It's dark, funny and theres lots of violence. What more can you ask for?

Well, I heard people talking about it, and I always thought it was an extension of Full Metal Panic ( razz ). One day they were reviewing the game on X-Play and I was like, "Oooohhhh". So I looked it up and fell absolutley in love with it. And here I am.

I saw a fanboy of FMA with an FMA sig on another forum. I got excited when I wanted to figure out the plot so I watched it. Apparently I was 7 epidsodes behind so I had to watch Epidsode 8. I began to watch the whole first season and when it ended, I began to watch the first 7 I missed. I CRACKED UP HARD!!! After finding notashrimp.com I ended up becoming an Edward fangirl ^^

well the frist episode i saw was the one where Tucker turns his little girl into a Chamera and it just creeped me out like no other. After that i did not watch the show for a couple of weeks then i just started watching it and became hooked. I then got my cable shut off so i had to borrow the whole season in Jap. on CDR from a friend then i watched the movie on youtube. and now i just want more.

Ahhh.... I knew about FMA a looooooong time ago.... Well, that's not to say that I ever watched it until later. When it first came out in America is when I first REALLY got into it. But the first episode I ever saw was the infamous Hughes Episode. I bawled, even though I had no idea what was going on. It did kinda ruin all the other beginning episodes with Hughes, though. I was always saying going 'awwwwww' and my friends would stare. They had no idea what I was doing. XP
Now I've read as far as possible in the manga (translated scans = YAY) and I've seen all the anime. I luff it soooo much.

Well, I pretty much like to try out new things, so I'm always looking for new anime and manga to watch or read. There was all this fuss about this "Fullmetal Alchemist", so I decided to try and download a few episodes. It didn't work at all, since I didn't find any site where I could download them from because they're licensed. On top of that, I don't have the channel where the show airs where I live. Boo. But, I found this great site where you could read manga online, and it had the FMA manga. I decided to give it a try, and I became completely addicted. I started searching for info on the series and joining guilds and clubs online dedicated to the series. One thing still bugged me, though, people kept on talking about characters that I didn't know (even after reading the whole manga) and stuff that hadn't occured... I found out that the anime is actually completely different story-wise, and much more popular than the manga. I had to watch it. So, while searching through YouTube, I found a few eps, and a site that linked them, which contained ALL the episodes. I've been watching eps on that site ever since ^^

Well... My cousin had finished watching the whole series by downloading it from his download site that I had thankfully discovered (We still use that site.XD) and she told me about 'Full Metal Alchemist'. I wanted to watch this other anime called 'Tactics' badly so I watched that whole series then started to follow 'Full Metal Alchemist'.
I was like far more obsessed and hooked than she ever was on FMA and the strange thing is, FMA started airing in Canada when I was watching ze last episode. surprised
