As soon as she dropped, blood wings sprout from his back and he dived in to catch Madoka. "Does this happen often?" he asked after catching her.

Madoka nods, "Pretty much. Cats run the whole damned place." She laughed. "What interesting friends you've got this time, Twilight Butterfly-sama," a voice boomed. A large cat covered in mismatched patches wearing a small crown appeared, his green and yellow eyes glowed in the darkness. Behind him stood a group of small kittens dressed as pirates, grinning and laughing in the background. "Yes, they interest me quite a bit, Patches-sama." Madoka's eyes darkened slightly with a hint of mischief. The large cat only laughed in return.

He sets Madoka down and looks at the strange pirate cats. He chuckled a bit when he heard the name Patches. "Heheh Patches. What a typical cat name" "Talk about p***y galore," he says with a smirk.

"Like this kid, little one," the cat laughed. Madoka shakes her head. The cat caught the scent of something familiarly strange, directing his attention to the quiet girl, "That girl... she belong here, but not here. I take it that she's the new "immortal"?" Madoka nodded, "Yeah. Surprised word got around that quick though, but enough idle chatter. It's not like you to appear like this or in this particular area. What's going on?" The cat waved his paw slightly, "Nothing that concerns you. But I do have to talk to Ayama. Is she with you?" Madoka's eyes lowered, "Of course. Why?" The cat ignored her question, "You know where I'll be so have her come by, brat. Now go entertain, the kittens will play with you children." The large cat disappeared into the shadow and the kittens spread out around the area. Madoka looked to where the cat had disappeared, frowning.

I watch the so-named “Patches-sama” warily. Talking cats. Now I’ve seen everything. “New immortal? What’s he talking about?” I ask Madoka. “Is someone else joining us?” It’s then that I notice the kittens slowly surrounding us. Now, normally I wouldn’t be intimidated by something as cute and cuddly as a baby cat. But kittens dressed as pirates, cackling like they are? Yeah. That’s just a little unsettling. “Say,” I comment, “we’re not gonna have to fight them, are we?”

He stands there stoically as they come foward. "Just say the word and they're gone."

Madoka points at the silent girl standing besides here, "She's been here... She just won't be talking for a while, not that I blame her," Madoka shrugs. She looked at the cats, "I wouldn't really worry about the cats, themselves. They're only tricksters. There really is no harm. Just annoyance, although I am fond of the style of the day. The pirate look is great. The traps are the trouble." We'll have lots of fun with you, you! heart " the little ones cried, and left as they came.

Madoka scratches the back of her head, "Well.. just watch your step basically." She laughs and walks from the ally to the streets.

Tikal walks out of her house into the moonlight her ears twiching a little.
"What a beautiful night" she says as she smirks a little showing off her little kitten fangs. "A night like this shouldn't be wasted" she says to herself as she walks down the empty street.
