Eric chuckled.
"I got two jobs, hun. I work for Bowden, and I work for the Hunters. Just so happens that the Doc gives me a REAL nice medical plan. Covers me crew and those I hold close, which is you and your crew. If you're hurt, just send out a wave to any Hunter ships in the area. You'll be seen to. And today, the Doc'll be seeing to you personally."

"The term 'Freaky ******** fast' comes to mind. Already we're free of Osis and it's moon's grav wells. Firing up the Jump Drive now." He replied, tapping a few more keys. Upon the completion of said key tapping, the Star's Light began to moan.

Ora raised an eyebrow as the Star's Light began to moan. "Either your ship really doesn't like that.....or it really does." She drummed her long fingers softly on the side of her seat, already initializing the cloaking of the ship. "If you see any ships in front of us, Eric, I suggest you keep a good distance, because they will not see you. I personally don't find head on collisions all that fun."

"Head-on collisions only hurt for a fraction of a second, then you're reduced to subatomic particles. My guess is is that it's not as bad as it sounds." He replied.
The Star's Light's cockpit was egg-shaped, and displayed everything going on around the ship inside it, almost as if you were in a seat flying through space, no ship, no nothing. Off the front, normal space began to ripple and distort, and through what could be closely described as a portal, the Erebus and the Kore station could be seen.

"That entirely depends on how fragile a mortal you are." Ora added, "and how many survival tricks you have up your sleeves. But yes, for most, it only lasts a small amount of time." Ora glanced up at the Erebus and Kore station and a slow smile crossed her face, a smile that for a brief moment reflected some of her resemblance to her father. "A little bit closer, than we prepare to transfer over."
(Oooh, nifty, I had wondered on the details of the ship).

"Closest I can get without tripping pressure and thermal sensors. Spite my efforts, I can't quite ot generate heat with the engines."

Jarred unbuckled, strapping his weapons on, making sure they were loaded.

Arch was sitting in his driver's seat, lounging back comfortably. He was bored, and watching the Kore fleet on his scanners, the same fleet that had recently given up on shooting at him, due to the lack of success after the first ten minutes.
He was about to shut it down and get some rest, when he caught something strange.
"Wehl naihw, thaht's sohmethihn striahnge." He mused, staring at the readouts. "Uhmahns donnah 'aihve wahrp draihves.... 'ehr mahgihc."
Arch hailed the Star's Light

"This is Captain Eric Chase of the Star's Light. I'd normally seize this chance to make some boast about how I'm going to shoot you dead, but truth is, I'm sick of shooting, and getting shot at, today. So, state your business, please, and we'll call it a day."
