"Go!" Riley urged. "I'll keep an eye on these two." She smiled warmly, watching Cale's back.
Hattie began to stir a bit, letting out a cry of pain. "Eric!" She called out, clutching at the Hunter who held her.

Das Steube Captain lead Tu, and a handful of Hunters, out of the call, and towards the hangar. Tu walked with a clipped pace. "So what exactly are we looking for, the twelve year old?"

"I owe those ******** a beating." Cale said through grit teeth. At hearing Hattie's voice he turned, worry crossing his face. He grabbed Hattie's unhurt hand. "It's okay. Eric's..." He paused and looked at him. "Fine. You need to calm down," He hushed her. Hattie had none of this. She began to thrash, groaning in pain. "Where is he? Need him! It hurts!" She struggled to move her broken arm that was caught between her side and the Hunter's chest. This only caused her to cry out more. Cale had never seen her this frantic, or this pained.

Eric's voice was hoarse, but still audible.
"I'm fine, babe... Come with me to the med ward... We'' be fine."

Hattie turned her head to see him. "Baby... I'm so sorry..." She calmed instantly but still seemed strung out on emotion. Cale released her hand and went back with Tu and the Captain, leaving his sister to Riley and the other Hunters.

Eric chuckled with a wheeze, while the hunters carried him to the med ward.

A Hunter laid Hattie on a bed across the room from Eric and pulled a curtain around her bed. There was a squeak of pain as an IV was inserted, which Hattie hated and Riley stayed with her until she was shooed away. She pulled up a chair beside Eric's bed and sat staring blankly at the bed. She looked almost haunted as Hunters bustled around them healing up Eric and disappearing into Hattie's curtain. There was a bone snap as Hattie's arm was set and this pulled a scream from behind the curtain. There was silence for about 5 minutes more before more screaming followed. Some of the screams sounded like cries and pleads for Eric, but most were incoherent. Riley only moved to take one of Eric's hands into hers, still staring blankly at the bed.

"What happened, Riley... What did they do to you...?" Eric asked through pained breathes, waving off medics as best he could.

"I'm fine." She said, looking up at him, her blond hair hanging in her eyes. "It's Hattie I'm worried about.... I didn't even know she was pregnant..." Her blue eyes watered a bit, the stress of the capture and the discovery of Hattie's condition catching up with her. She wasn't usually emotional, but when it came to Hattie, she couldn't help it. "I would've made her stay behind... Not act so rash... Sorry, Eric..."

Eric's voice rose until a sharp, pained cough before he calmed down.

Riley but a hand on his chest, holding him to the bed as she tried to ignore Hattie's screams coming from across the room. "They said she was about four months and all the stress she forces on herself and then all this caused her to miscarry..." She explained, wiping her eyes with her other hand. "I think they are... "Delivering" the thing now..." She whispered. She looked over her shoulder to seeing a Medic leave the curtains with a small, bloody bundle of cloth in his hands and the screaming died away.
