Conall walked through the hallways, eyes crossing upon everyone in front of him. At one point, though, he found a mob forming. Not a mad, torch-and-pitchfork kind of mob, more like a bunch of spectators. Conall paused and stood up straight, immediately seeing above any who was in front of him. Great, it was the brainless jocks, Conall's least favored group in the school, bullying some girl. Conall walked up to the leader, feeling the eyes of the mob on his back as he approached, and jabbed his finger in the leader's shoulder. He watched with some amusement as he saw the jock's face turn from anger to horror as he saw who it was who bothered him. He looked around and let go of the girl. -"W-w-what do you want?" Conall said nothing, he just headbutted the jock. The jock backed up, momentarily dazed, and then looked up at Conall. He tried to tackle him, but Conall turned the tables on him by picking him up using the momentum and sending him flying. Conall looked at the other jocks, who all scattered. Conall watched them run then looked at the girl. -"You okay?"

(2nd period's over, so it's lunchtime, right?)
Domhnal sat down at his usual lunch table to wait for Kira, he pulled a peanut-butter sandwich out of his bag and began to munch as several terrified looking football players burst into the cafeteria.
"Hm, there's something you don't see every day..." Domhnal muttered to himself, over the usual din of the lunchroom he could just barely make out the sound of the quarterback loudly exclaiming: "That guy's a f^@#n' head case man! He should be put in a f^@#n' zoo!"
"Most unusual indeed." Domhnal considered tailing the quarterback, assuming from his foul mood that his attempts to super-wedgie someone had just backfired, and that he might be on his way to find an easier target, but he and the footballers were not on pleasant terms and he didn't want to instigate violence, so he decided first to investigate the source of the bully's annoyance, peeking out into the hall, he saw a 6'8" guy talking to some girl who he absolutely dwarfed (not that he seemed to have any difficulty doing that) But beyond that everything appeared normal.
"Weird" said Domhnal. "I guess whatever happened is over now..."
"Hey dipstick!" yelled a voice that made him cringe, he turned around and saw, as he expected, the Quarterback and his entire posse standing in a semi-circle before him.
"Oh great," thought Domhnal "Just what I was trying to avoid."

(Well, why not just say it's two periods later and now lunch, this way we don't have to go through every period... I have an idea for lunch anyway mrgreen )
It was now time for lunch and the two brother's gave each other a silent nod. Quickly, though calmly as not to seem out of the ordinary, they walked against the crowd and quickly ducked into an empty classroom. Calmly, Alex closed his eyes and felt around the shadows, they were alone, yet still he avoided speaking until the door's blinds had been lowered and it was successfully locked. "Alright Shawn, you ready to do this?"
"Been ready all day," he smirked as he began digging through his bag, thinking over the minor technicalities in their plan, namely, would anyone notice they were gone. No, more likely then not the others would probably just think they were working in the science lab, Alex had a habit of dragging him into his experiments. At long last, Shawn retrieved a small black box from his bag and stared over at his brother whom was holding a similar one. Slowly, the boy lifted the lid to reveal a bright ball of light. Calmly, he willed the light from it's resting place and bathed himself in it. A bright flash traveled around the room, unseen from the hall. When it once again dimmed, the Boy was in a white spandex costume, complete with white mask, black boots, black gloves and a black belt. His brother on the other hand was now wearing a similar costume, only the colors were switched.
"Time to go," Alex smirked, the silently e merged with the shadows, as his brother shrank and formed into a small ball of light, which quickly shot through the window.
(First come first serve on heros, they are going after a bank truck btw just incase someone wants to stake it out)

One of Geneva's eyebrows arched as the large boy approached and single-handedly broke apart the crowd surrounding her. Her stomach turned slightly, watching his show of brute force with wary interest. He was almost a foot taller than her, which was a feat in itself... A good pair of freaks we are... she mused. Her upper lip twitched in mild irritation. Rather than dispersing, the crowd was simply getting larger. Why must everyone draw attention to my existance?... she sighed and looked up as he asked her a question, her eyebrows narrowing as she glared at him. Her savior wanted praise, apparently.
"I was doing just fine on my own. You didn't have to do that." she said, her voice low and quiet. She ran a hand through her short, light-purple hair and took a quick glance at the crowd. All eyes were on her. She sighed and looked straight ahead, walking past as if she had been doing that from the very start. Once she had gotten around him, however, something caused her to pause in her steps. She sighed again and closed her eyes.
"Thank you." she muttered to him, before pushing her way through the crowd. She kept her head down and her steps steady as she kept her face stoic and secure.

((Sorry, I didn't specify what time lunch was. Actually, er... I think I forgot myself. Yes, Alma's lunch period takes place after second period. Each period is an hour and a half long, and there are only four classes per semester. Weird, huh? It's an art school. Crazy artists. ^-^)) ((edit: Did I seriously not put it up? redface I thought I did. Sorry about that; I've been pretty swamped, and I've gotten more than a little spacey as a result.))
Kira walked out into the hall smiling. Today was macaroni and cheese, which might not have been cause for joy at any other school; however Alma's culinary department was suburb. Because of this, she was fully prepared to sprint upon stepping through the doorway. The line got long fast.
She only got in one step before she stopped, blinking in confusion. It took her several seconds to take stock, as the hallway looked like a field of war. She could barely see what was going on at one end of the hallway, but the sight of The Lump standing head and shoulders above the surrounding crowd made it a virtual certainty that she didn't want to be in the middle of that particular mess.
Closer to the lunchroom, a large and weirdly ruffled group of angry jocks was surrounding... Oh great. "Okay, I respect the All American Jock's right to stupidity," she said loudly, striding forward to stand next to her friend, "But suicide is against the law, assholes. Really. You throw footballs and tackle each other." She jerked a thumb toward Domhnal without taking her glaring eyes off of the quarterback. "He spends his time punching through blocks as thick as one of your skulls and practicing spinning kicks."

After two hours of driving, Robert Franklin was happy to know that he had almost reached his destination, carrying with him a truckload of new fifty dollar bills to the Las Cruses Bank. Despite it being a city, it would seem that he had picked the perfect time to enter, as traffic seemed very low, or at least he thought. As the man went to turn up his radio, a sudden gleam bounced off his windshield and temporarily blinded him. He swerved slightly in tat moment but soon found the light had disappeared and he had not hit into anything thankfully. "You should really pay more attention to the road, someone might get hurt." With a shocked look on his face, Robert turned to find a boy in white spandex stretch out across his passenger seat, a white mask on his face covering the edges of his brilliant green eyes. "How the hell did you get in here?" he demanded of the teenager.
"It doesn't matter, now hold still and say cheese," Shawn smirked as he reached towards the man, grasping the steering wheel with his right hand and touching the man's forehead with his left. Gemini Light watched the man's face grow panicked as quickly he was turned to light. With a simply flick of his wrist, the thief flung the man out of the window and aimed him to land safely on the other side of the road. With the man no longer there to hold down the accelerator, Shawn knew he wound need to act fast and instantly began turning the wheel clockwise, sending the truck crashing into a nearby window. Of course, even with only a few seconds to react, the light boy was able to escape with time to spare.
Alex watched from the shadows as his brother rematerialized on the ground, everything had gone exactly as they had planned. He too soon appeared on the sidewalk and watched with his brother as the frightened man ran away, "Nothing left to do but collect," He smirked as he began to spread his shadows over the broken truck. Within moments the back doors flung open and the two brothers entered in tandem.

Conall watched the girl leave and then walked to the cafeteria. His eyes swept the room, to find... the jocks messing with more people. This just made Conall upset. No... upset was when you got food on your shirt, or your shoelaces stuck in a car door. No, he was pretty pissed. So, Conall did the thing he usually never did and went to start a fight. Conall walked behind the head jock and jabbed his thumb in the back of his thumb pretty hard. The result was a pretty humorous sound. The jock turned angrily and then turned pale. -"Don't you learn? No... I suppose you don't with a skull that thick..." The jock was about to start something when one of his friends went to him and muttered something to him, glancing at Conall several times. Finally the jock decided to leave, muttering something about what he would do if he had his 'nine'. Conall simply ignored this and went to his usually deserted lunch table, not even realizing just who he had stopped the jock from fighting. Or who was standing next to them.

Geneva walked until she came to two large doors at the end of the hall. She turned slowly and peered back where she had just been walking. Her face was one of boredom and superiority. She didn't feel like being at school anymore. The girl was fully aware that the rest of her day would probably be spent avoiding stares and whispers about her latest escapade. No, it was time to go.
She pushed the bar opening the door with her back and left without a word.
The tall teen walked through the city for a little while, until a cacophony of voices reached her ears. She paused and thought about the voices. They didn't sound all that thrilled to be a part of whatever was going on. She then decided it might be fun to see what could cause a group so much commotion.
The source of the ruckus was a crashed armored van. Her curiosity got the better of her. She approached closer. Was there money in this van? She didn't believe for a second that anyone would see an opportunity at free money and pass it up. Except for herself, of course. She would gladly avoid grand theft any day.
So if there was money around, there was someone desperate enough to want it. She immediately looked over the people around her. Most were just surprised to see a van oddly jutting out of a store window.
As much as I hate to... she thought, I'd better be safe.
She clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. Slowly her nails began to extend, harden, and blacken, forming ten thick, gruesome looking claws. Geneva blinked through the slight discomfort it took to accomplish this feat. Now at least if someone tried anything daring, she would be able to defend herself... at least a little.
((Going on a three day school trip tomorrow... I will be back late Saturday and will probably end up posting early Sunday. Toodles.)) ((Erm... okay... no one posted wtf?))

(Guess I'll post, though I just can't see them striking first)
The two twins were only about half way done collecting their prize, converting the money into light and shadow for convenience, when they began hearing people gathering outside, "Light, go outside and watch for the cops, I'll gather the rest," Alex said, making sure not to use his brother's actual name.
At Shawn's first scan of the perimeter, he saw nothing out of the ordinary, just a lot of people, but then he saw it, someone or something was growing in the crowd, "Uh, Shadow, I think you should come out here."
Grudgingly, the twin complied and temporarily stopped gathering the money, "What is it? We're only half way done and who knows how much time we have."
"Do you see that thing?" Gemini Light asked, pointing to the mutating girl in the crowd, a hint of confusion in his voice.
"Yup."

((Actually I was assuming you'd finish up and make your getaway... my bad, lol.)) ((Questions: Are superheroes and villains part of normal life in this world? Or is the idea of a costumed hero totally ludicrous at this point?))
Geneva quickly hid her hands, realizing that if anyone saw her, she might be questioned as part of this whole fiasco. She decided that something like that probably wouldn't be the highlight of her day. As she looked back to the truck, she froze.
The first reason she froze was that she had received her first glance of the thieves. There were two boys... They were either super short, or they were around her age. Either of which was very strange to her... after all, the only stealing she was aware of from those of her peer group involved baggy pants and convenience stores.
The second reason was that they had stopped their looting to look out into the activity of the people around them, more specifically they were looking directly at her. She cringed. They had probably seen her hands. Did they perceive her as a threat, or were they still determining whether or not they had actually seen her? Neither option was all that great.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of police sirens, approaching quickly.

Domhnal blinked and looked around, that was easily the shortest confrontation he'd ever experienced with his quarterback nemesis. He wondered for a moment why that huge kid wasn't on the football team, then dismissed the thought. "Who is that guy?" He asked Kira "Is he new?"

(Actually I wanted to be interupted anyway, I don't want them to get all the money, cause if they did, they would just quit. I was hoping for a quick fight (As villains almost always win easily the first time))
It would seem that the girl to far away for a good look at her face, and both boys knew there was not much time left. As Alex turned to reenter the truck, the sound of sirens rang clear through the streets, 'Damn.' There was no time left, at least not if they were planning on sticking to their 'no violence' pact.
After converting a few more wads to shadow, Alex fled from the truck and grabbed his brother's shoulder, "Come on Light, time to go!"
"Alright, Gemini out," Shawn smirked while giving a two fingered salute, speaking loud enough so that the people could hear him, as shamed as they were to revert to crime, they still did not want to be remembered by whatever the media decided to call them. A moment later, they had converted back to their elements and were gone.
Once back in school, they changed back into their casual wear and waited until at last the bell rang before they left the room.
