Tenma glanced over when she was approached by Ryu. This girl was an odd one, that was for sure. "Hey" she replied dully. She, of all people, was bored. The mind numbing ingnorance of the classic students was beginning to assault her brain, making her feel like she needed to dumb down to their level. She refused, however. There was no reason to be that stupid or desperate for this matter. Tenma's eyes travelled back to the professor who might as well have been a corpse. He didn't move, it was time for class damn it all. This was beginning to boil Tenma's blood, but she decided to turn her attention to Ryu. "Did you get that retarded paper done?"

"Eh, yea. It was easy. Besides, papers are not as retarded as people." She looked towards the people flirting. "Hint hint." They didn't seem to care, so she went back to talking to Shadow. "I don't get what they're so desperate about. The opposite sex should never be a number one priority. Hell, the opposite sex shouldn't be a priority of any sort."

Tenma put on her 'trademark' smirk. She was conflicted about the male race. She didn't see them as an object of affection, but she did see a select few as member of society to be looked up to, almost admired. Otherwise they had no signifigance on the planet. The world would be better off if it was dominated by females. With a nod Tenma started in, "Males shouldn't be seen for the sole purpose of affection. They, like women, should been seen for their capabilities and personal accomplishments. I, personally, have never found an interest of the opposite sex."

"Exactly. Neither have I." Ryu shrugged it off. And, because she was bored, she started to flip through the paper, reading it thoroughly to make sure there were no typos. Seeing as there were none, she went back to talking to Shadow. "So, did you get the paper done?"

"Of course," Tenma said, trying not to sound smug. "Not to mention it was especially easy for me since most the techniques were my own." She looked back over at the crowd and the professor. This was incredibly boring. He was doing nothing while the rest of them just stood there like a bunch of gazing idiots. This was about to piss her off. She hadn't fought to leave her village to stand here. "So why did you come to the school?"

"Well, the details are a bit complicated, but basically my brother got tired of trying to make me decent and dumped me off at the first place I got accepted to." She turned to look at the professor. "Is he DEAD or something? Maybe he's blind. And, like...deaf. But I kinda doubt it. Maybe he got stabbed in the back by some remaining sword of an animated corpse and we just haven't realized it yet."

((Sorry sorry. A family friend died and I had to help take care of the wife and four children left behind. But I am back now.))
Tenma chuckled at how vivid this girl's imagination was. She had her own theories, but none of them made sense enough to tell. It was odd that she was dumped off by her brother. "Yeah" She started in, though a bit slowly. "My brother died years ago, so I'm sorry if I can't say I understand how you feel."

Which it probably is, seeing as I provoked her the night before, but still." Riyu sighed and crossed her metal arms. Once again, she observed the crowd. The girls wore skirts and the guys wore backwards baseball caps. She turned hers to show what she was talking about. "Why do people wear their hats like this? It lowers your I.Q. by 5 points." She turned it back around normally again, and looked at the professor. "...Maybe we should just kill him."

Tenma eyed the professor, oddly tempted by Riyu's suggestion. "Don't tempt me." she remarked. "Plus, wearing your hat like that isn't nearly as wearing a skirt. It defines you as easy because nothing has to be removed to get to you." She paused for a second realizing what she had just said. "I think I'll keep comments like that to myself next time."

It was true. Riyu really did wear boxers. And she didn't give half a damn about it either. She said things like that for kicks, and the best part was that most girls didn't believe her.
