My girlfriend was hardcore against drugs, and now is alright with blazing every once in a while, and doesnt care about other things I do as long as I talk to her about it and stuff.
You can probably work something out with him if it's something you want to continue doing.

He's either been exposed to it too much (i guess he lost friend or something) or not enough
So many people I know do it, its like booze or cigs or something in my mind.
I was surprised at how against it he was
I want to convince him to be not-bothered-by-it enough so I can do it once in a blue moon
But I doubt I'll be able to
