KC gave Mirri an odd look, then went over to her own bed. She grabbed her old clothes and, feeling much more comfortable, fitted her sword and quiver on as well. It would probably be smarter to hide them, but people had seen her with them, so... It was so much better to be in her old clothes. She was much more used to them. Turning to Surika, she said "You stay here. I'll be right-" Surika cut her off with a reproachful bark. "Oh, that's true. Fine. Well, I'm set. You ready, Mirri?"

Mirri came up from the bed as before, upbeat, and completely fine. "Yup, lets go," said Mirri in her green cloak. She left the room and went to the bridge. As she entered, the ship lurched, and began moving. Octavian spun around with his chair once. "Lets go then." he said jovially as the ship suddenly went from next to the Survivor to the very edges of the forest. Everyone in the entire ship felt a bit queasy now, except Octavian. The jump had caused ripples in space and the air, so animals and people in the immediate area of the two jump spots felt odd. Mirri groaned, "Octavian is never affected. Must be the fact that he's in that chair."
"Not true Mirri!" said Octavian. "Well lets set a course for Gaia." With that the ship flew at normal cruising speeds towards the elven city.

KC chuckled a little, then wished she hadn't. If she felt queasy and she opened her mouth, no matter what reason, it always brought up a little barf. She got over it quickly, though. The closer they got to Gaia, the more excited she got. She couldn't wait to get back outside under the sun.

Sek watched the ship jump, and as the ripples of space and time spread, they were simply repelled by the bridge, to the surprise of the crew left behind.
"What? You look all surprised that we have warp shielding? Of course this ship does, one of Chronos' better kept secrets. A simple warp jump of one of these ships is really nauseating without shielding..." Sek drank more of his small glass before standing up.
"Alright, I'm guessing Octavian left you to learn the controls. Anyone good at gunnery-first floor consoles, ship navigation, radar, logistics, and defenses- second floor. Nobody is to take the console in the direct middle of the second floor, the one raised higher than the others. that's the copilot. So, everyone to their places so we can move this ship properly."

{10 people on ship}
Octavian found a clearing outside of Gaia. The ship landed there. "Alright" said Octavian into the mic. "Five people stay aboard, 4 come with me. Mirri, KC, John, and Winston{The mage from before}." He was already donned in a green cloak, covering a dull purple tunic before. Despite being less proud then a normal dragon, he still had some arrogance and pride, hence the purple tunic." Winston, a small, skinny man met the 4 coming from the bridge on deck. He tossed a rope ladder off. "After you sir." said Winston. "Thanks alot." said Octavian and hopping down. John, then Mirri, then Winston followed. "Come on KC," called Mirri up.

KC slid down the ladder after everyone else, then caught Surika as she jumped down. Laughing, KC said, "I tried to keep her in the room, but she missed the outdoors, too." While she spoke, Surika had dashed off behind a tree and was now walking back. "Oooh... I forgot about that... I really hope that's not gonna be a problem."

Sequoia's head snapped off to the side, her green eyes focusing on something she could barely see off in the distance. Her pointed ears blocked out the sounds of the market and she listened. The sounds...of a ship.
She hopped with agility across the wide gap between two buildings, landing running across the roof. It didn't phase anyone local beneath who saw her, used to elves and their movements about. She hopped the roofs of buildings and ran along small ledges on the sides of them, approaching the edge of Gaia. She then hopped from a roof to a large tree, going from tree to tree with ease until she came upon a large clearing, a ship landed in the middle. Her nostrils flared and her eyes flashed slightly dangerously. She wasn't spotted.
Sequoia slipped around behind the thick trunk of the tree, climbing silently among the foliage, the shadows of the thick leaves hiding her visually. She came to a spot where she knew that couldn't see her.
"So what business do techies have in Gaia?" she called out, using the term that her people used for people who used technology. "Certainly not upgrades." She made sure to move after she'd spoken so that they wouldn't know her location. She rested her palm against the large limb she was standing on, feeling the fear of the tree. It remembered the fire.

Nelash craned his neck at the sound of the ship as well. Ships were very rare nowadays, since Chronos no longer existed. only those built from scratch, which rarely lasted a year even flew in the skies, and only the rich could afford enough power gems to make it work. the fact that a ship sounding that large was as astonishing as it was curious. It was believed there were only ten true skyships about, and 8 of them were the stuff of legends, told around campfires, like the ancient Chronos Dauntless, which would appear in the middle of a fierce storm, or the famed smuggling ship Everthing, The deadly ship said to be deep within Arc, Garuda, the ship held under the sea hidden in a maelstrom, the Undine, and the ship that some said they saw in the night, Crescent. Only the Everything was a ship considered real.
His curiosity got the better of him, and he began to move towards the sound.
---
Sek pulled a lever, and the Survivor/Dauntless rose into the clouds, As it touched them, they became thick and darker, lightening lashed out around the ship. The Dauntless' famous storm surrounded the ship and hid it from view, making people believe it was just another thunderstorm.

Octavian smiled right before the unknown speaker addressed their party. Everyone else jumped. Mirri's fur stuck up a bit. All began looking around except for Octavian, his face hidden by his hood. Mirri moved up and whispered so that only he could here. "Why didn't you turn on the silencers and cloaker." He replied telepathically saying, 'We are a normal ship.'. He then said to the anonymous visitor, "Supplies. We've run low." He could sense the female elf hiding in the trees. "Are we going the right way to Gaia?" he asked.

"Depends on what you're planning to bring. You could be going the right way, but you never know." She grinned widely, hopping down with ease from the tree and landing silently just in view. "My people don't like technology all that much, you see." She pointed to the ship and some of the things that the people were holding.

(Nelash can hear the weight of it landing, as the roots of the trees creak, and he feels what the trees near him do. the trees tell the S'rik things clearly, something that makes the elves both envy and respect the alien S'rik, as they are closer to the forest than any elf has ever been. Elves are a post-invasion race, so any damage to the woods they remeber was probably Eden's doing, or perhaps even Tartarus.)
The S'rik strode into the clearing, viewing the large ship in curiosity.
"Wind-Riders..." he said, A S'rik term for any group of people who rode in a working flying machine. The large and imposing S'rik could easily be mistaken for a threat, as most were by those who saw them the first time. The Chronos power crystal in his chest glowed with the ferocity of a full charge, giving him an even more alien look.

"Oh, hello, Nelash," said Sequoia, waving at him once. She turned her attention back to the group in front of her. "So are you going the right way or not?"

Octavian laughed. "I'm not sure. You're the elf in the conversation so you should know. I think we are going in the right direction but how do I know." He turned to the S'rik, who looked more helpful, "Could you kindly point us towards Gaia?"

Forgive me, wind-rider. I wander too much and know nothing of direction, just memories of the past... The Green-Keeper knows the way." the huge creature replied, slightly sad he could not be of more help to this man.
