Bella's face become more pale as the whimpering continued, along with the sharp pains in her chest. She could feel, subconciously, a couple tears slide down her cheeks.
Alice was extremly worried, "Aubrey....really, Lex can help...let her be here....other than that....no others...." she looked to Edward, "I'll go let her in, and bring her up..." and with that, she disappeared.

Instead of her usual knock, Lex pounded on the door. Bella must be saved she thought to herself. Edward's happiness depends on this...
"Bye," he said with a small wave. Ah, there's Lex he thought as he heard the pounding on their door. "It'll be OK, Bella, Lex knows what she will be doing," he said, trying to comfort her.

"did anybody consider that this might not have anything to do with a physical body? that it might be her body's energy that might be poisoned?" when she got a blank look from everybody, she rolled her eyes. "her soul... it might be poisoned..."

Bella cried out as the pain got stronger, gripping the sheets so that her knuckles turned white. she faded back into conciousness, and she winced again. "Edward....it....hurts..." She said, squeezing her eyes shut. She winced, fading back into unconciousness.
Alice looked botha mixture of shocked and confused. "What do you mean, poisoned her soul? how can we cure her?"

Lex sighed, slowly opening up the Cullen's door. She raced upstairs to Carlisle's room where Bella was. "How may I be of service?" she asked with a smirk, standing in the doorway. She eyed Edward nervously.
"Hang in there, Bella," he whispered to her. "Lex, you came!" he exclaimed, relieved. He knew she could help Bella.

Alice looked at Lex, "Do you know how to help someone whos soul has been poisoned??" she asked, actually afraid for once, she knelt down by Bella, she could see the outcome, the outcome if she didn't get help soon. Her expression went blank, as a vision filled her head again, she finally snapped out of it after a few minutes, "Aubrey....Lex....you need to work quickly..." she said, almost too quietly, "If she doesn't start healing within the next half-hour...shes...as good as dead...."
Bella winced as if on cue, subconciously. She was struggling to hold on, she faded back into conciousness and coughed into her hand, and when she pulled it away, she realized it was covered in blood. She looked at it, horrified.
Alice winced, "I saw that happening too..."

Selene walked away from the house "So it has begun" she walks onwards into the nearest forest and sat beside a tree.

As much as he tried to ignore the smell of Bella's blood, he couldn't. It was right there... so close to him. "Lex, help her!" he managed to say, beginning to not breathe at all.
Lex nodded. "Let's hurry and cure her," she said weakly, beginning to examine Bella.

Aubry jumped in.
"ok... you need to make sure her fever stays down and make sure she stops coughing up blood." she instructed both Carisile and Lex. "i'll see what i can do..." she closed her eyes and jumped into the coldness of Bella's soul. it was cold because it was a different species than she was. she started to take up the poison in her own soul, where she could fight it there. a lot was happening in her mind and energy, but she didn't move physically.
Carisile went into the kitchen and got a clean washcloth and put cold water on it.
"here." he handed it to Lex. he glanced at Aubry's stone still body. "ill never understand her..."

Lex stared at Aubry while putting the cold washcloth on Bella's forehead. "Carlisle, what is she doing?" she asked him.

Alice went over to Bella, quickly taking another cloth and wiping the blood from her hand. Bella, not long after, collapsed into another stage of unconciosuness. Alice smiled, "Whatever Aubry is doing, it's helping....her fever is going down a lot...and I see no more blood..."
Bella was just breathing rapidly now, her temperature back to normal, but pain still in her chest, and her whole body ached. She couldn't feel her hands or her feet anymore, they were so numb. She winced, hoping they would be able to cure her, she didn't want to die....not without Edward.
Alice walked over to Edward, "It looks as if she will be okay....but the perpetrator will be back.....she is not far away...."

"hmph, It was easy, her soul is truly frail but easy to posion" She smiles to herself. A stranger came up to her and asked "have you done it" she nods.
