Eurusa looked hurt. "I only wanted to help you. I know you don't know much about manners, which is why I was only trying to council you..." She turned and looked in the mirror at the beautiful silver dress. Perhaps this ball is not worth the trouble I am making it...
Aquaria stiffened. "I know you are only trying to help me, but your manners change who I am. I can be nothing but myself. No dress or makeup can hide that." She walked away from Eurusa, afraid she'd deck her if she stayed too close to her. She found Satine. "Would you teach me all that you know about this girl stuff?" She spat the word girl out, not liking to admit that she was clueless in that department.
Eurusa walked over to Star Catcher. She needed a change of pace, something else to think about, or she might cry. "Greetings. It's a lovely day, isn't it?"

Moondancer blinks at Starlight screaming and not wanting to go she sighs and shakes her head. "starlight..sweetie..you need to get out of your room, you've been far too coop up in it..why not just give it a shot..it would be good for you" she told her. "i'll tell you what...how about I go shopping with you?" she asked.

Star Catcher looks At Eurusa and nods her head "yes it is a nice day out" she answered her tail continuing to swish to and fro Idly at a steady pace.

Rowena rolled her eyes and frowned "I would but that would inspire experiments that I wouldn't be able to do until after the kids are born, since it would harm them otherwise. As for what I'm wearing... no. Everything makes me look fat and while I'm not there to get a date nor do I want to look like a whale..." she tossed a few dresses out of her closet looking for something suitable

Starlight frowned. "Why must I go to the ball? Isn't that where everyone falls in love and still end up with hearts breaking?"

"Teach me how to be a girl." Aquaria looked around nervously, hoping no one had herd. "And could you keep it down. All I need is for others to find out. I'd never hear the end of it. 'Aquaria's gone soft!' My brothers would have a field day with that..."
Eurusa smiled. "I hope it doesn't rain for the ball. All those pretty dresses all the ladies will be wearing would be ruined. That's no fun."

((I thought Ro knew - well, OOC at least Sil knows - just because, you know, it was fun to tell her! Meanwhile Az doesn't have a clue - big surprise there, huh?))
"Uh-huh," Azaroth said watching her from a safe distance. He had never understood women's preoccupation with clothing and their appearances but he certainly wasn't going to question Rowena about it now.

Moondancer sighs a bit and looks at her daughter "as much as you don't want to go..it would be good for you and its probably part of our responsibility as a royal family to go...come on...just go and if you don't like it we'll go directly home, how about it?" she asked her tilting her head to the side a bit.

((Hmm.. I suppose she could know. I'm sure theres a spell or something she could've done to let her know genders. *shrugs* She probably won't tell Az though... wants to see his reaction when he sees her))
"Meh.." Ro frowned again and chose a fancy blue gown "This will do. We need to find you a tie... and a suit." She glanced at Az then back to the dress before going into the other room to change. "If you don't have anything I bet Sal or Godric would. Though for your look I think Sal would be the better bet... Godric likes flashy things."

Starlight sulked but didn't say another word and let her dad practically drag her into the store. She stole a glance around at the dresses and nearly scowled more. Did she have to wear a dress?
Macaan glanced at Moondancer. "You're better at uh girl clothing stuff."

That time Azaroth couldn't suppress the involuntary gag reflex. "If you must insist on this thing I will find my own clothing, thank you very much." He was certain there were spells to create such things, it had only been a very long time since he'd had any reason to make use of them.

Aquaria grinned. "I know. Your version is bound to be more fun than Eurusa's though. I want to have fun, not be pinned in by some silly rules."
Eurusa frowned. "Yes I suppose you're right. If you'll excuse me, I need to go and check on Aquaria..." She turned and walked back to where Amara stood. "Have you seen Aquaria?" She asked, a little worried that she had gone to do some silly and brazen thing.

Moondancer glances at her husband "yeah..I know..though its pretty much up to Starlight, given that she's the one wearing the dress...and it gives her a chance to choose the perfect dress she likes..out of the many that are here" she said making a sweep like gesture with her head to indicate the many choices.
