Ganil nodded as Neb stated his orders.
"Yes Sir!" Although Neb hated it when he was called by a "formal" title, Ganil still insisted on calling him Sir during combat situations, during which he was more of a military commander than Neb's apprentice.
"Blue squadron, follow me, we're going to loop around and hit them in the back!"
A chorus of "Yes Sir"s and "Confirmed"s rang in his comlink earpiece.
Ganil reverted all power except for 35% of his shields into his engines and his X-Wing rocketed forward. He spotted a blind spot inbetween two Dreadnaught cruisers and turned his ship in that direction. "Squadron, follow me through that blind spot. They won't have enough time to call any fighters, so all we have to deal with are the turbolasers."
Another of chorus of confirmations was sung.
They managed to get by unscathed, except for Ganil nearly getting hit by a turbolaser shot.
He swung his ship around, and said, "Alright, convert power back to systems, open S-foils into attack position, those of you with them, and slow to attack speed. This is where the party starts." He grinned.

" If you believe I'm capable of training someone like you did with me, then sure. We can always use another on our side. " Angel said, " So... what's she like? "

The surviving fighters that Mordranna sent off to torpedo the other Star Destroyer came back as well. "One, report status," "Seven and Eleven are lost, ma'am. And, I made Three take a walk after taking a hit - here's hoping she made it back to base," "Indeed. Form up on me, everyone." She then noticed that Ganil was in the area, and smiled. Although she only knew the young man from the time she and him were being trained as Neb's padawans, she grew to think of him like a little brother. Nah, I won't embarass him in front of his men! she mused with a light chuckle before hailing him. "Blue squad lead - need any back up?"

"She has a temper, yes, she tried to kill me when I went to see her, though she was kinda amazed when I lifted her up with my mind... But just teach her the basics of what I taught you, none of the advanced Sith leveling. My new order has no need for that. My new order will have One Dark Lord, One Dark Lady, and the rest are all Dark Jedi, servants of our order."
Imperius peered out of the win-screen when he saw a figure standing at the edge of the valley.

" I see. I'll train her just enough to become a Sith, but the rest will remain our secrets. If she wants more power than that, she's on her own, and we'll be watching her closely to make sure she doesn't try to take our positions from us. " Angel said, as she noticed the Dark Lord looking out. " You see something? " She looked out as well, and saw the same figure. " Drako? "

Imperius shook his head.
"There's no force signature..."
He banked down the Eclipdra and let it hover. Motioning to Angel to follow his lead, he jumped out and landed in front of the figure.
"Hello?"

What a cheerful name. thought Cajin as he walked towards the Dead Space Bar. Ah well, I'm thirsty, and this is convenient.
Pushing open the old fashioned saloon doors, a (natural) grey-haired man walked in. Quaint, but kind of cute. He was wearing a drab grey poncho, underneath which which he was clad in battered and scuffed grey Stormtrooper armor. He had an old E-11 slung over his shoulder, unobtrusive underneath his poncho.
The noise in the room lowered slightly, as the patrons evaluated this newcomer.
He walked to an empty table, and sat down, resting his feet on the opposite chair. "What will you be having?" asked the waitress. "A Corellian Spiced Ale, please. Warmed." in a surprisingly calm voice. "Right away." she said. She returned with his drink.
"Thank you, Miss." he said, receiving his drink and passing the payment to the waitress. He tilted it back and drank half straight off, then sat back with a sigh of contentment. "Ah...it feels good to just sit and relax." he said, as he began to sip at his drink.

Cale turned to the newcomer and eyed him warrily. a bounty hunter or mercenary to be sure. Armor and a blaster rifle always meant trouble. Cale wasn't sure if there was a Republic bounty on him or not, but with all the beings coming to get him lately, he decided to err on the side of caution. he discreetly checked the gauge on his blaster and turned the safety off.

"Mmm...that was good." he said, putting his empty mug down.
The waitress came over again. "Can I get you another?" she asked. "Ah...don't want to have too many, or I'll probably crash my ship or just embarrass myself." he chuckled, though his hands and motions were completely steady. "Still...I'd go for another. Hey, I don't suppose you have Chai?" "As a matter of fact, we do have some." she said. "Excellent. Give me a big cup, half Ale, half hot Chai." "Yes sir." she said, again departing and returning.
"Thanks." he said, again receiving his drink and giving the waitress her payment. He sat back and started drinking.
"Ahh...needs a bit more cream, but it's nice and hot." he said, enjoying his drink.

Cale decided he had had enough of the Bar scene for the day. packing up his sabacc deck and leaving a tip for Nora, the outlaw walked out of the Dead Space and started walking home as he usually did. He sighed and glanced about at the thin crowd of beings in the street."why do I have the feeling something big's gonna go down?"

Cajin simply sat back and enjoyed his drink for a while, idly chatting the waitress or some of the patrons.
Then, he sat forward, the legs of his chair hitting the ground with clunk.
"Well...enough relaxing; time to hit the job office." he said, as he stood up, said his goodbyes, and walked out the door.
REPUBLIC EMPLOYMENT OFFICE
read the sign, marked by a Republic symbol.
He walked in, and gave his information to the bored-looking clerk. "Cajin Jorac. Primary specialties include combat and piloting. I am the owner and pilot of a Lambda class shuttle in good operating condition."
"Thank you sir, please wait over there, someone will see you when there is an opening." said the clerk, gesturing to the crowded waiting room.
He waited. And waited. And waited.
Okay...I'm getting tired of waiting... he thought, standing up and going to the clerk. "How much longer?" he asked, leaning on the counter. The clerk said "I'm sorry sir, everyone wants a job now, the market is very tight."
Cajin slipped some credits across the counter.
"Right this way, sir." said the clerk.
"Thank you." said Cajin, walking into the office. Out with the old, in with the...?
He was greeted by an official, who with much punching of displays and many apologies, informed him that there were no jobs available, even for a man of his caliber. More credits exchanged hands. The official informed him that there was a need for a resupply to the fleet fighting in the Kolthis system; due to some oversight, the Republic fleet in that area was running dangerously low on supplies, and there were few availble supply assets in the area. The Republic was considering farming out the resupply operation to freelancers. FUBAR. Somebody screwed up bad. "...And of course, this would be a great service to the Republic, a great civic act-" said the official. "Can that sh*t; I'm not interested. How grateful will the Republic be, in hard credits?" The official handed brought up a contract and named a figure. More credits exchanged hands. The offical named a somewhat higher figure. "Acceptable." said Cajin, carefully reading through the contract. "Signed, witnessed and sealed." he said, straightening up and shaking hands. "Pleasure doing business." he added, dryly, and left.
As he walked away, he thought to himself. Not too bad; good pay and I've got a small advance. The job should be fine. He sighed. It seems the old days are truly gone. Gone are the days of the corrupt and inefficient Imperial bureaucracy; now is the time of the corrupt and inefficient Republic bureaucracy. Things sure have changed.
At least I figured out what to do with that batch of dud credits I picked up.
