Even if the tiny thing had been able to see her surroundings, she wouldn't have understood them. She didn't know that she should brace herself for impact with the earth, used to the cushion of her mother's womb as she was. So when she did come into sudden contact with the bottom of the scrape, the disorientated mewl was excusable.
That was, if she wasn't disorientated enough already. Birth is wearing for both the mother and child, of course.
Another meek, mewling choke brought up any remaining remnants of amniotic fluid and cleared her airways just as a coarse tongue came down from above to run over her fur, pulling her - gently - this way and that. She lifted her nose and nudged at this big one, as if trying to discover where it had come from. Then the big one - now deeply recognised as Mother - went away, and she was left to feel the trembles of the ground beneath her.
But good things come to those who wait, and the big one wasn't gone for long. Shortly, the minutes-old cub found herself pushed to the great and warm side of her mother and encouraged to suckle, something from that moment on was second nature.

Muroki had other plans to Bhaskar. This shaking had been going on long enough and he'd only had one of two bumps - he figured it was safe to leave the elder's side. He carefully padded his way over to his adopted 'aunt' and her cubs, growling when a tremor caused him to fall.
Rahima was surprisingly calm now the birth was over; for her, anyway. She didn't even snarl at him when he came to lay down between her front paws and lick her cheek. He was just a cub, a growing one, but just a cub.
Muroki sighed, and looked at all the other lions that had just arrived. He'd say hello in a bit, first he wanted to stay with the red lionness for a minute or two and nudge those cubs softly as a 'hello'.
He was a 'cousin' to them, after all.

 A small ball of fur made his way though the new land, he didn't know where he was heading until he was so far out of sight of family that he turned in circles letting out yowls. He was lost! why did he stray from home like that, he had no idea where he was and everything around was new, he let out sniffled mews as he dragged his feet looking for anything familiar.

((Sorry if I'm rushing but I feel that this needed to do now.)) The third one took maybe the longest time, like it didn't want to come out at all. As a surprise to her, the last one wasn't so painful.  When the last cub finally came, she sighed for relief. All the pain she had felt was soon gone. She took her golden daughter to her side, cleaned her and gently nudged towards her belly where her siblings were already filling their stomaches. --- Hisani stumbled into the big cold world rather softly. To her, it was quite rough though. She didn't want to leave that warm, wet place! Not to this scary, cold, shaking world! To express that frustration she gave a little, faint mew before her mom picked her and licked her clean with her rough tongue. Then she was pushed towards something big and warm. Curiously, she crawled forward, stumbling little to the others but finally finding her feeding spot. ((And you can skip my turn as much you want.))

 Before anyone could talk to her, or try, her curiousity was peaked by the strong smell of cubs and afterbirth she had scented when coming in this place, eyes narrowed slightly in frustrated curiousity.
The young juvenille slowly padded towards where the birthing den was, very wary as she knew mothers could be hostile towards those who could harm their cubs, but she was interested.
Being asociated with death she also had to see the new coming of life, plus she'd have to pick up tips if she was to be a mother one day.

Feeling something hit her she mewed in protest not actually caring that it was her sister. She then crawled forward pushing as close as she could also taking up as much room as possible. She found that she was here first so the others were to wait. Made sense to her if not anyone else anyway.

((o_o Random, but I just sorta wanted to come up with something.. this is sorta how I 'see' the scene as of like.. nowish.. in my mind: Yeah, I don't know why I did that either.. sweatdrop But, enjoy.. or.. somethin'.. ))

Hearing a gentle mew, much like his own, the male cub began feeling blindly around him. He breifly felt someone else, but that one was taking up a lot of room and he didn't want to impose. Again, he felt blindly around him. This time, he felt a smaller bundle than the first one, and thid one was warmer too. Mewing, he crawled towards this bundle and lay beside it, nuzzling it every so often. This was what made the mewing noise from earlier.

With her head rested on the ground, Kirjava had fallen asleep for some time. Crimson eyes were covered until a ray of sun beamed down on her. Opening them slowly and blinking away the sleep, she yawned. An ear flicked as she caught new scents, "Oh! There are more lions here!"

Laini purred contently when the birth was finally over and her cubs feeded from her. She laid on ground, completely relaxed. Her eyes were closed and her mind wandering wherever it wanted to wander.
Not too lonf after, her nose picked a new scent. Someone was approaching the den. Tiredly, not willing to open them yet, she opened her eyes to view the visitor. It took some while for her to realize that she had seen this visitor before. "Hmm, Laana. You've grown."

Hisani felt someone nuzzling her back. She paused her feeding, confused. Did the nuzzler wanted to feed from her feeding spot? That's it should been. At least, her little, simply logic said that. Well, she had came as the last one, so she was kind of intruder. Backing blindly, she left her feeding spot and then pawed her brother towards it, giving him an agreement that his deeds were noticed and approved.

The juvenille paused as the silver female spoke to her, but, sadly she didn't remember her, she may have met her a while ago, but her name still remained in her head, she gave a small smile before tentatively walking over and smiling warmly at the cub's.
"What adorable young..." She said sweetly, her red eye's glancing over the little bodies before she took a step back, admiring both little litter's from both female's before she turned to Laini and continued to give her faux smile...even though she did love the thought of cubs.

Ithi made sure that if either of her siblings came anywhere near her she would do as much pushing wriggling and what ever else was necessary to get them away from her. She was already a bossy little girl and wasn't to happy with things going on around her.

With Muroki laying at her back, peering over it at her suckling cubs, Rahima wasn't much inclined to move. Besides, the red lionness was tired and there seemed to be little threat from the lions about her or from the shaking earth. It just growled and rocked, seemingly less and less each time, while everyone met up with each other.
"Thank you," She paused for a moment; what had her grey friend called her? "Laana."

Getting up and walking around, Kirjava noticed something different about her. She felt a little...taller? Coming up to a stream of water, she gazed down and was surprised at her reflection. She had grown! A sly grin grew across her face as she was thinking about all the things she could do. Plus, she was getting closer to be Muroki's height! That tail of her's swished back and forth as she investigated the area surrounding them.
