Dodger hadn't been sleeping when first the fledgling and then the large bright white adult came to disturb her (previously) distant and lonely vantage point. No, she'd initially hissed in fear and annoyance at being so interrupted, and then hissed again and startled in fear when the adult arrived. Crap! Now she's going to get in trouble, again.

"Sorrysorry, I'mgonnagonow I promise!" She stammers hastily, leaping to a further branch and beginning to make good on her words. All she wanted to do was peek in and see what all those other fledglings had that she didn't, to try to figure out why they get to graduate.. now things are going wrong, and her minders are gonna hear about it, and she'll miss the next graduation too!

"I didn't come to fuss, youg one. I merely noticed you looked unhappy." Odd, in general, was more removed from the fledglings and did not know about Dodger's reputation amongst the minders and teachers. For him to not know seems impossible, but the albino was oblivious.

Foxfeather watched the ceremony with mild interest. More fledglings were becoming adults. He was there for the same reason his cohort, Sly, was. He wanted to be noticed, though he doubted any attention would come his way. His sights settled on a sentinel he was unfamiliar with, Sylverbeth. Gracefully and silently, he landed at a respectable distance from the other deep woods sentinel.

"I don't think I have seen you around these parts, friend?

Winter looked up as Dodger fled. She let out a sigh. "I just want to find a friend. Daddy Liam is to busy for me right now. Will you come back down?? I won't tell on you!!" She poked at wing at Odd. "You not gonna tell on her are you??" Why was the fledgling running away. She looked at Odd. "Maybe us fledglings not spose to be here!! Ohhh your not gonna tell on me to Daddy Liam are you??"

"Liarsssss," she hisses, narrowing her blue eyes. They're all liars, all of them, saying that she won't get in trouble but then she does. She always does. And sure enough, the little group has raised enough of a ruckus to catch the attention of a distant Minder... who shakes her head, nudges her neighbour, and leans in to whisper something. "Erk," she hiccoughed, and then Dodger flees in earnest. Nothing short of physically chasing her down will stop the patchy little fledgling from leaving the area.

Winter blinked a bit confused by Dodger's actions. "Wait!! Don't leave!!" She ran after Dodger. "Why would you get into trouble for being here??" She called out to Dodger as she ran the best she could after her. "Will you please stop an wait for me. I don't wanna get into trouble for being here either!! Please?" She begged to the other fledgling. An why did she call them a liar?? She blinked thinking a minute. How was she a liar? She had told no lies to the other.

Beth did the best he could at being unmoved by the sentinel's arrival and paid him little attention. He simply cocked his head and focused now more intently on the ceremony.
"Name's Sylver," he said blankly then added with as little interest as possible, "yours?

Odd watched the little ones leave until they disappeared from his poor sight. Clearly the little piebald was upset, but the accusation of they all being liars baffled him. He wanted to follow, to make sure the little ones were all right, but at the same time he did not want to upset her anymore than she already was.

"Moth?"

"M'yeah, boss?"

"Go keep an eye on them, please, make sure they stay out of harms way and trouble. Alert an older sentinel if you think something bad will happen."

"M'kay." The dark furred chirop bobbed her head and flew quietly after Winter and Dodger.

"Th'name is Foxfeather, friend." The second male replied quietly.

Watching Hazel to see what route he took, Bone backed away to get space. As Hazel landed Bone raced forward with all his speed and leapt into the empty air, aiming in a different direction so as not to hit his friend. Bone landed lightly but solidly on a branch slightly below their makeshift hidout. Using the momentum from his leap, Bone sprung to anouther branch, and anouther, to where his partner sat with a large berry.

Bone raced past him. "Come on!" he called, grining. They had got away with it! Bone was estatic. He did a flip in mid air as he started back to where he thought Lore sat. Wait... where was he? Where was his Sentinal? Bone stopped and tried to scent her. Nope, his fur was had too much juice in it, he just smelled berries. Uh-oh. Hazel was behind him, but Bone didn't want to admit he was lost. Bone kept going. Oh! There was the Sentinal Lore kept looking at before, when she told the announceing Sentinal she wanted to be a "crafter". Whatever that was.

Bone changed direction, heading towards the Deep Woods male with the swirvy pendant. Bone stopped right in front of Thorn, grinning. "Hi!" he said. "You know where Lore?" he asked, the bright red berry juice dripping off his muzzle in globs.

Birch was too busy figuring out how to break his idea to Tousled to notice her reaction at the prospect of a second crafter.

"Mmmm..." Birch said and nodded, "I can relate to that. I can't imagine not making music and telling stories."

Still, he had worked hard to be able to play so many noisemakers. He had learned the basics from many bards and then practiced, practiced, practiced until most sensible sentinels flew detours around his territory. The storytelling and acting was part talent, but mostly thanks to Char's firm guidance.

"She'll probably need someone to teach her a bit more about crafting then," Birch mused, watching Tousled from the corner of his eye. "Perhaps you could help her and teach her things she needs to know about working with a group of daft bards?"

Their group was still young, but Tousled had been with them from the start after all.

"We're late." Cedar glared at Em. It was her fault, too, insisting they would be early and if she could just get one more minute to work on whatever she had in that tree of her's. It was probably something silly, too. Something that would make alot of unneeded noise, like her beads were doing now. With the hunter's chirop close behind, Ced silently glided to a branch.

"Sorry, sorry! I thought it was later!" Em looked quite sheepish next to her somber friend. "There must be more to go still, right?" Her landing was haphazard, she clung awkwardly to her perch next to him. The odd pair had a large contrast in appearances. Cedar looked dignified and serious, and presentable, almost handsome, in Em's eyes. She, on the other hand, looked dazed and suprised, with ruffled feathers and wide eyes. The crafter quieted down, and watched all the fledglings. Apparantly quite a handful of them were choosing the life of a crafter. Interesting, she could remember being the only one in her graduation.

Cedar turned his head to look at an entirely white sentinel with red eyes. Odd looking, but he seemed friendly enough. Nudging the albino with his wing, he whispered, "Have many of them, uhm, gone yet?" The hunter looked very timid talking to someone he didn't know, but there was no way Emmie would ask without yelling.

Sylverbeth looked over at him.
"A pleasure, I'm sure." he said in a rather over prominent voice.
He turned his attention back to the graduation willing for Foxfeather to just go away and leave him in peace.
"Is there something you wanted?" he asked in a slightly irritated tone though meaning no offense.

"Only to chat with an equally stunning deep woods, one similar to myself." The arrogant creature held his beak high, but had friendly intentions towards Sylverbeth.

"You are aware of the coming problems, yes? So many crafters... But hardly any want to take on fighting positions. So far we have had one hunter and one scout."

Unfortunately for Winter, Dodger is a much older fledgling than the Mist and is therefore much more well-practiced at flying. And flying swiftly. The patchy aberrant may have heard the other's pleas, but they were ignored in her haste to vacate the area before someone came to yell at her. Within a few short moments she is lost to view, winging silently away to her 'hiding place' near the Minder's Enclave.

The dark chirop, at Odd's request, continued to follow the patchy fledgling. Moth had no idea where the flight was taking her, only that it was away from the sentinel that kept her safe. Without him, she was easily some sentinel's lunch.

She winged as silently as her bat wings would allow, but found herself slowly losing the aberrant.

Thorn blinked at the Martes in front of him. It stared sweetly up at him with those liquid black eyes, cute little whiskers twitching, little ears just sitting there being cute blood running neatly down its chin... Wait. Blood?!? BLOOD!?! "Sweet Noctus..." he whispered. Lore was going to be in big trouble for this! Companions were NOT to be hunted at these gatherings, even by other Companions! What kind of keeper would give a just-fledged adult a vicious predator like this thing? He looked around, panicked, for the poor Companion-less Sentinel. Rika was on top of his head still, and Cass had flown up to a branch above to nap. All the Sentinels he knew had their companions, and Roth was... not... with... Liam...

Oh no.

He stared at the thing, flabbergasted, too shocked to speak. Liam was going to be heartbroken when he found out... His beak quivered and his eyes began to water in shock. Frozen, all he could do was gibber quietly at the little monster. How would he tell Lore that her Companion was a murderer?

Roth, meanwhile, caught up with Furry Hazel and plonked himself next to the other Companion. "This dull. What Furry Hazel have?"
