"No problem, things were getting a bit awkward back there." He smiled at Madison, glad to be away from the still gathering crowd they left behind. He chuckled slightly at the blush she wore on her cheeks, but was blushing as well. 'She's cute, I hope she sticks arund' He turned to hide his blush, and occupied himself with a different thought. 'Where's Aaron?' Chase looked around for a bit, looking for a blond head of hair. When he couldn't find him he turned back to Maddison. "Madison, did you see where Aaron went?" His expression was questioning. "I thought he was coming with us."

Aidrious noticed the boy she had talked to earlier in the distance. She remembered how he had simply ignored her and she flushed in embarrasment. Still, she couldn't help but to think that this person was kind...not the kindest but had great intentions. She didn't know whether or not to try and interact with him again so she turned and started to hum her lullaby...

Something brushed Aaron’s sleeve, lightly as a moth’s wing, but he barely noticed; he was too busy searching for a glimpse of familiar orange hair. It wasn’t until the soft, terrified voice spoke that he stopped, turning distractedly toward its source. The girl was perhaps fifteen and very pretty, with the potential to be a real beauty when she got a bit older, but what he noticed first was the absolute fear in every line of her body. “I—This is going to sound crazy, but I think you’re going to Hell,” she said, her voice shaking.

It didn’t even occur to Aaron that she could be lying; she was much too frightened. It did occur to him, however, that she might be a bit off in the head. Poor little thing. Without even thinking about it, as though he’d done it a thousand times before, he reached out and manipulated her emotions, taking her raw panic and carefully crafting calm in its place. It felt so natural he didn’t even think to question what he’d done until much later. “Hell, hmmm?” he said, with a small but thoroughly sincere smile, “Why is that?”

He knew on some easily ignorable level that he should be continuing to look for Madison and Chase, not talking to an adorable and thoroughly damaged kid, but while he was actively engaged in conversation he didn’t have to think. He didn’t have to wonder what would happen if he couldn’t find the other two, and he didn’t have to obsess over why he’d lost his memories in the first place. Procrastination was a temporary but extremely effective remedy for panic.

Laila kept running, she wasn't sure where she was going, or how she was going to get there, All she knew was she wanted out. She no longer wanted to follow the orders of someone who wanted to drag all the good into hell. A bargain she had only made to save her sister...

She stopped then. And caught a glimpse of someone she had already met that day. Aaron. Laila felt like crying, all that running and it appeared she had come full circle. Back to Aaron, who had looked at her with so much hatred. Perfectly deserved hatred, but hatred all the same. She didn't want to be near him, or anyone else with a clouded past att that moment in time. But who was he with? She looked, and saw a girl who was older than the last time Laila had seen her, but very very familiar.
"Zara?"She whispered to herself.

Aidrious picked a small public building to climb and went to the roof. She liked the view of looking down best because that's the easiest way to glimpse a face to draw. Not too long after sitting up on top did she spot that girl who yelled at her before. Meg didn't look as angry as before, but Aidrious dared not to walk up to her again. She went back down to the sidewalk and saw a young man standing with Meg. Immediatly, she pulled out her pen and paper... She glimpsed at Meg to make sure she would not see and started drawing.

"I'm not sure. He was following for a bit, but then he dissapeared. I hope he's all right." she said, worry seeping into her voice. He seemed to be the only other person without memory, and Madison really didn't want to lose him. "Maybe we should go look for him?" she asked, turning to face the trees. What had sounded like a good idea before had turned into a rather dumb one in her mind as she looked back at the dark trees. Pretty soon they wouldn't be able to see at all.

An absolute calm descended over Zara, not a sleepy or complacent calm, rather one that helped her to focus her previously frenzied thoughts. The nervous energy was gone from her body like it had never been, and she looked up at the boy with easy confidence. "I should say that you're not absolutely certain to go to Hell," she clarified smoothly, "It's just your future until something changes."

She searched his face. Now that she was thinking objectively-- actually, now that she was thinking period-- she could see the undisguised pity on his face, an expression that one wore when speaking to a hysterically unhappy child. At any other time, this would have caused her to flush, avoid his eyes, and very possibly loose the thread of the conversation altogether. Now, however, she continued to look up at him with clear, unperturbed eyes. "You think I'm crazy," she said clearly.

Aidrious heard the name Zara and was instantly turned toward a young girl with long blonde hair. Aidrious didn't know how to react to such an innocent looking young girl..but she was really craving friendship and this girl had an aura about her. It was as if she was like Aidrious, but in a way Aidrious couldn't quiet understand.
She stopped drawing Aaron for the moment and yelled out, "Hey...I was just wondering if you guys would like to hear a song. I know I'm a stranger, but I have yet to share this song with anyone..and I think it has a beautiful purpose. Could you give me your opinion?" and she waited for a response.

Aaron opened his mouth, though whether to deny the charge or accept the truth of it he wasn't sure. Her eyes, guileless, clear blue and now completely and eerily filled with unflinching calm, made him want to shrink. He was spared from answering, however, by the return of the little brunette from before, the one with the drawing. It took him a moment to decode what she'd said; the innocent and honest request seemed to have no place in the world he'd been living in since he woke up. Finally he smiled, a slightly guilty expression, as he'd just remembered he'd basically abandoned her in his haste to catch up with Chase and Madison...

Chase and Madison! The smile dropped from his face as his panic welled up again, worse than before. Aaron was less than thrilled to discover an important truth; procrastination might be a temporary cure for panic, but ten times stronger when it finally returns. "Another time," he said softly, already back to searching in the growing dark.

Zara. The word kept going through her mind, as she watched her sister talk to Aaron. It had been such a long time since she had last set eyes on her, and everything was so different now. Laila wasn't sure if she should approach, or leave her be.

Then the drawing girl spoke. Laila hadn't spotted her, but again she was trying to be noticed, and again she was drawing pictures of people. And when Aaron turned to her and left, Laila prayed the drawing girl would to. So Zara would be left alone.

"It's a good idea, and I'd totally agree on heading back if it wasn't so late." Chase noticed how late it had gotten. He looked through the trees at the road alight with street lamps. "Well, as long as we stay near the street, we should be fine. We can just backtrack a bit, Aaron shouldn't be too far away." He looked at Madison. "I like your idea, let's go find Aaron." He stayed true to his word and stayed beside the quiet road, it's dim lights giving off an eerie calm. "It's getting quiet so we better hurry." He grinned over at Madison who hadn't started walking yet.

Aidrious was slightly dissapointed by the male's answer but she didn't let it show. Instead she followed after him. "Hey! What's your name?" she asked, running behind him. When he didn't respond she called after him, "Why won't you talk to me? Why must you run?" She kept following him..knowing full well that she was being a burden, but she couldn't help but wonder what this guy was up to and if she could help.

Aaron glanced at her, trying not to let his annoyance show on his face. He had no past, no place to crash; all he had was an increasingly painful headache and two little girls following him, asking to play him songs and giving him predictions of his future."In order, Aaron, I'm busy, and I'm in a hurry." He was instantly ashamed of himself for snapping, and, after a slight pause, continued. "I lost the people I was going to stay with tonight," he said. It was the longest string of words he could remember saying, which suddenly struck him as funny; an ironic smile quirked the corners of his mouth.

Madison hadn't heard him talking, a pair of green eyes holding her mesmerized. She couldn't see who they belonged to, but they were illuminated by the street lamp a little ways off. Hearing Chase's voice caused her to snap her head towards him, a light blush coloring her cheeks. Darnit, she thought annoyed at herself, being a redhead has major drawbacks. Glancing back at the trees, she couldn't see the eyes anymore. She shrugged it off however, and jogged over to Chase. She hoped he would explain, or at least that she could pick up what she had missed while he had been talking before.

Zara looked after the two dark figures that, until a moment ago, had been standing beside her, and took an uncertain step after them. She could feel the calm faltering, but instead of the panic that had been in its place before, she felt unspeakably tired. She watched the back of Aaron's beautiful head for another long moment, then turned and started out of the park. After all, her gift had very useful aspects. It wasn't as though she wouldn't be able to find him agai--

Zara froze, trying to shake off the eerie feeling that she was being watched. It wouldn't leave. She looked from side to side, her eyes wide, biting her lip, but no one presented themselves. After another heart-pounding second, she started walking again, though rather more quickly than before.
