Mika looked over sharply when the vase beside her cracked. She knew something bad was going to happen today, the North wind was blowing far too hard and she'd pulled both Death and The Tower in her reading today. Not only that, the mansion was deadthly silent today. She couldn't hear her mother's drunken yelling on the lawn or even the comforting shuff servants doing their daily routine.

She bit her lip as she thought about calling her friend, Akiko, before pulling a single card from her tarot deck. Sighing in relief as she pulled out the Fortune card, Mika snatched her cellphone from the table and pressed the button that would call her friend.

"Holy crap!" Akiko suddenly yelled, a great contrast from her previous doings. She was suddenly thrown into a flurry of action as she ruffled through her pockets for her ringing cell phone...the noisy, obnoxious ringtone set to Utada Hikaru's "Passion." She was so flustered with thoughts of who might be alive and calling her that she completely ignored Sora.

Yes, thank you, thank you, oh great and wise King Mickey. Along with the extra change of clothes and other items he had packed for her so she wouldn't have to run around in her jammies, he had put her cell phone in her jeans pocket.

Akiko flipped the phone open and sighed with relief. Mika! She was alive and moving! But then she could be in trouble...

"Mika!" she about screamed into the phone. "Whereareyouwhat'shappeningwhat's wrong??"

Then she looked up at Sora and winced. "Oh, uh, hi, um...I was told we were supposed to go save the world together or something?" she said quickly, trying as hard as she could not to sound as stupid as she felt.

Riku gritted his teeth and sauntered over as well; they didn't have time for this. "Sora," he muttered, pointedly looking toward the enormous building that was their destination.

Oh, gosh. Riku, too. Too amazing. Too much for a poor little fangirl.

"Excuse me," Akiko said to the boys, and returned to Mika. "Um," she started off. She and Mika had a strange friendship...they were exact opposites, and sometimes Akiko had a hard time understanding her words and her trust in her cards. But time had given the not-terribly-street-smart girl a slight understanding, so she didn't take any offense. "Well," she said again, taking a deep breath. There was so much she wanted to say...but not in front of Sora and Riku, with Kairi nearby!

She settled with this: "I can come by...be ready...you might be a bit surprised...I mean, the most amazing thing has happened..." A giggle escaped her lips. "I might be bringing some people along I met...you'll really, really like them. But yeah, I'll be there ASAP. You might wanna get ready for a trip."

Akiko looked back up at the boys, giving her those weirded-out looks. She blushed. "Um, King Mickey said you were supposed to meet him at the building...and then we'd get started looking for the keyhole...and stuff..."

Mika, who was still on the phone heard something about keys and keyholes.

"Switzerland," She deadpanned into the phone while pulling out her deck to find out what she'd need to pack for her trip. "They make the best locks in the world along with the best chocolates." She interpreted her cards and began picking out the neccisary skirts, and bodices. "Are you so simple as to not have a coat?" Do you want me to pack anything for you?

((We're gonna have to stop soon I think lol...Kairi's getting majorly left out))

"Oh, um...I have everything I need...I think...if I don't we can just stop by my house, it's not too far from where we're supposed to be," Akiko told Mika. boy, this two-conversation thing was getting tiring. Oh. "Maybe I might need an outfit or too, if you don't mind."

She then turned back just in time for Riku's suspicion, which she answered with an extremely frightened stammer. Oh, no, what if they thought she was like, some kind of evil impostor?

"Owch," she murmured quickly, as she shifted her foot and one of her bruises hurt in penalty. But she continued on like nothing happened.

"I--I don't know. I mean, um, I'm...my name is Shidoosha Akiko. And...I don't really know why I'm supposed to be helping you guys out, but you know...if you wake up and everyone in your world is gone, and this mouse from some video game comes and tells you these heartless that aren't supposed to exist have attacked your world which is supposed to be the only one in the universe, you kinda have to help, don't you?"

She stopped, realizing she was babbling. "Anyway, uh, do you think you could come with me to pick up my friend? She says she's alone in her house, and I'm afraid something might happen to her. She also said it's be kind of unlucky, which I think might mean a heartless attack, and for some reason she's usually right. And...I'm not very good at fighting..."

Mika looked in her closet for anything her friend might like to wear. This was going to be a challenge since everything Mika owned was either black, forest green, crimson, or violet. And even her colorful clothes were mostly black. As she stared into the rather large closet, she remembered that there was a few outfits of Akiko's inside that she'd left behind after a sleepover.

She'd long since hung up, so she had no idea what her friend was planning, all she knew is that she would have to pack quick, light, and get dressed. With a nod, she grabbed her only outfit with white on it, threw it on, and grabbed the matching jewelry and shoes.

(( I think it might be only me left O.O, btw, when do we start showing the discovery of our powers? Can I just start now so I have something to post?))

Mika looked at the small bag of clothing she'd packed, thankful that most of her things were lightweight and she could make them very small. Of course, she absolutely could not forget her deck, so, grabbing the velvet bag she kept them in, as well as the deck itself.

Of course, fate felt the need to intervene and one lone card dropped to the floor before turning into a single sword. The card itself was now blank, save the words 'Ace of Swords' written across the bottom.

Mika looked down with a raised brow and picked her phone back up. She was sure that whatever had happened was most definately not normal.
