"Ha! You stupid blood thingies! Misty is way more powerful that you can possibly imagine! Get Misty!"

Gerbo said as he cast a quick Mana sheild on himself. refilling his life completely, and then some.

"VRRRTTTT!!"

Misty cried as she charged forward, once again powered by the same mist her body composed of. Ramming one blood token into the ground, it poped with a nasty sound. Turning to the other token attacking her, she shrouded herself in mist as the creature choked itself to death tried to draw closer for a strike.

(Gerbo: Dice for defense, cast Mana sheild.)
(Misty: Call mist and living mist on BT6. Attack BT8.)

Seeking to minimize the potential damage to the party, Fury jumps on BT7, arresting it's forward momentum towards Vincent. Carefully assessing his next course of action, he then uses the Spiritual Fist to crush BT9, as it paws at him pathetically, while simultaneously dropping his dread gaze on BT10, ending it's life. The Death Eyes Curse again takes it's toll, sapping the very life from Fury's body. Dancing Sword whips past Luljeta, diving into BT5 with an all-out attack, smashing it into a puddle of goo.

Vincent charges in, sweeping his demonic sword in an arc to take out BT1. He then reverses his charge, spinning to hit BT2 with enough force to effortlessly kill it. Demetry comes in next, landing on the head of BT3 as it claws and bites the creature to its rightful grave.

Luljeta saw the incoming attack and braced herself for the attack she was about to recieve. 'Perrian, incoming attack. I'll be ok' She said telepathetically to Perrian. Perrian nodded in response. Both of them charged their healing magic and shot it off to whoever needed it.

The Blood Tokens do their best to wreak havoc, but are clearly outmatched. The only defender who takes damage is Luljeta, for 6 points. The Blood Tokens are easily dispatched in a flurry of attacks from the team, bringing the battle to an end. Searching the bodies you find:

Elixir of Action x4

Resilient Arm Band: (E2) If your Defense score exceeds your attacker's Attack score, reduce his damage by four for every point of difference, rather than the usual two.

Shield of Defense: (E2, c 5/5) Spend 1 charge, you may direct that an enemy attack targeting one of your teammates must be directed at you instead. Cannot be used if you have already had enough damage allotted to you to knock you out.

Blood Token 5: 0/5
Blood Token 6: 0/5
Blood Token 7: 0/5
Blood Token 8: 0/5
Blood Token 9: 0/5
Blood Token 10: 0/5

Vincent's Demonic Pact is countered by Regen.
Demonic Regeneration heals 2 points.
Fury Regenerates 1 point.
Perrian Heals Fury for 4 points.
Perrian's Angelic Pact is countered by Angelic ties.

(Are we on pause cause vincents gone?)

Cracking his knukles and putting his hands above his head, Gerbo walked up to the now open entry way.

"Well it looks like we can go in now... Nothing's stoping us... so lets go! oh, and throw that stuff in the loot bag, unless someone has any need for them at the moment."

Luljeta faded back into the dust as she broke up into light particles and faded away. "Yup, we can now go in." Perrian said and signed a cross in the air. "Rest in peace." He whispered to Regina and Rufus's dead bodies as he looked down at the bodies. He then raised his head and said. "I think I have no use to the items right now. Lets just put them in the bag and then lets continue."

Moving forward through the severed door, you enter a warm room filled with what appears to be cooking utensils and devices. The kitchen is a large one, fully stocked, with a true medley of food choices. It would seem that Rudolph's clientèle has a healthy, if somewhat diverse appetite. There are no other's present; it seems that Regina and Rufus served as Kitchen Staff as well as guardians of the Back Door...

Directly opposite of the Back Door, you see a large hallway that moves deeper into the mountainside, ending at another large metal door; flanked to the immediate left and immediate right by a small passage leading to smaller doors. The door to the left seems to be barred from the outside, while the door to the right has a small sign hanging from the latch that says, "There's no taste like gnome."

Fury tosses the loot into the appropriate bag o' loot, equipping a pair of Elixirs of Action to his potion belt. "If nobody minds, I will carry these potion with me for now. Anybody else?" Fury waits for the final response before tying the bag closed and putting it away. "Looks like we have a choice before us. And that choice is, which way from here?"

While the others consider the path, Fury then turns to Vincent. "I am sorry if I seemed rude in not responding to your question earlier, it's just that I am new to this curse upon me and not yet comfortable speaking of it. Forgive my weakness, I beg. The witch Cassandra laid her evil will upon me as a final act before she was brought to justice, and as a result, my life is slowly draining away. I can usually fight it's effects, negating the advance, but in the excitement of combat I lose that careful control. Fortunately, it saps the life force of my chose enemy as well, or the personal drain would be to much for me. It is said that only the Elixir may remove this curse; if I am to be free of it, I must procure one before it is to late..."

"Theres no taste like gnome?"

Gerbo said as he read the door to the right.

"Oh no...oh n o... this can't be...."

Gerbo said as he started pacing in circles and pulling at his hair.

"How can this be! I really, really, REALLY want to go to the right door, but all my instincts are telling me to go left.. but we cant cause its barred!!! Dear god.. I ... I don't know what to do!!!"

Gerbo cried as he sat down on the floor between the 2 doors rocking back and forth and bitting at his bottom lip.

"Well...hmmm....." Perrian sat down next to the rocking Gerbo. He thought deeply and finally stood up, moving to the doors. "Hey! Master Gerbo, do you think that you have any spells that could blast open a metal door enough so we could get through?" Perrian called out to Gerbo as he touched the sign carefully with his right hand and flipped it over to ead if there is anything written on the back of it.

*Djanni sighs, watching Gerbo's antics.*

"Master Wizard, do forgive me...but PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!!!!" scream
*Djanni promptly delivers her patented Slap to the Back o' the Head to the anterior part of Gerbo's somewhat bald pate. Then she steps briskly forward and promptly unbars the barred door. Then she spins on her heel to look Fury in the eye. "I'll take that shield of defense, if you please."

(um i think the door is barred from the other side... meaning the side we can't get to.)

(Sorry for the miscommunication, the door is barred from your side, not the outside; So you can easily unbar the door to see what is being contained within)
