Shaon scowled. All this talk of biting made her want to maul something, which was unusual for her because she was mostly against violence. but now small things, like Leo especially, were ticking her off. she wondered if it was because she was becoming territorial of Zy.

Zy didn't notice Shaons attitude, something had been poking at him from his bag. He pulled out something wrapped in a cloth. Zy unfurled the thing, it was the hilt of Jana; his sword that broken when he fought the man in the shadows. there was also a book, titled The Life and Tragedy of the Yama Brothers. Zy smile at the thought of a book being written about him. Jerick. he mumbled.

Zy looked at the hilt, Not completely, she was in pieces in the city. Jerick was lucky to get the hilt. Besides, she keep me company when I was lonely, and now, I don't have that problem. He lean in an kissed Shaons forehead.

Shaon smiled as he kissed her. "glad i'm able to help." as long as they didn't veer back to any discussion of her past, she was fine. and so far, things were taking turn for the better.

Yeah, his a good kid. Zy smiled. I call him a kid, but his older than all of us. Him and His brother were born as vampires. Zy thought back to when he was new in the clan and the first one to be his friend was Jerick.

We're going to have to get another boat, this one won't make it all the way. He told his wife. We'll spot at the next port to sell this one and try go get a ride on a better one.

Zy kept an eye out for any port they might pass. When he saw on he directed the driver to dock in the city. He tied up the boat and offered his hand to Shaon.
