Having been caught completely off guard, the punch hit its mark sending Neko flying back into the door. His head was the first thing to hit and the room began to spin but unfortunately he remained standing though barely. The force of the blow and his already weakened state had he leaning up against the door for support though he was sliding slowly downward. “s**t,” Neko spit up the blood that was welling in his mouth and wiped the blood away from his nose. Turning his gaze upward he glared at Yuki. He wasn’t happy one bit about being hit but he did not retaliate. Instead he stood there and waited for the next blow, hoping Yuki would make it quick. If he wanted to see his sister that bad, who was Neko to stand in the way, but for the love of god his face?

The fact that Neko still stood actually made Yuki angry, and he returned Neko's glare. Why are you making this harder? Yuki lunged, reaching out to take Neko by his shirt to pull him away from the door with the intent to get behind him. One arm wrapped around Neko's neck in a choke hold, and as Yuki pulled his friend against him he breathed words into his ear that he could only pray would only be heard by them. "Relax, I don't want this to hurt any more than it has to." Barely a pause, and he began tightening his hold around Neko's neck. Why am I doing this? He shut his eyes tightly. She wouldn't want this... Yuki shifted his weight, to prepare for Neko's collapse. The least he could do was try to lower him gently to the floor as he lost consciousness.

Neko let out a startled cry as Yuki jerked him forward and proceeded to place him in a chokehold. He hadn’t gotten enough air before the hold had been placed so he couldn’t say anything. All he could manage to do at this point was gurgle in his discomfort of being strangled, tugging weakly at Yuki’s arm. As his vision began to blur and fade for the second time that day the last thing he managed to see was the smirk worming its way across Suto’s face. Inwardly he prayed at some point he would get a chance to cut the lips from that man’s face, that smile was annoying. Slowly Neko’s eyes fell and his head fell limply to the side. His grip on Yuki’s arm ceased and his hand dangled at his side as his knees buckled bringing him closer to the ground.
Suto waited for a few extra moments to make sure that Neko was truly out before he dared open the door. “Good lad, now cooperate and you will get to see your dear sister.” Suto swiped his keycard in the door and slowly edged it open. He was fairly confident this man wouldn’t attack, at least not yet. Not until he knew where his sister was. “Right this way,” Suto gestured for Yuki to follow him.

Just as Neko fell limp, Yuki's grip around his friend's neck was quickly released and he struggled to lessen the intensity of his fall. Typically, one wasn't so careful with someone they were trying to strangle. Neko was lowered to the floor as gently as Yuki could manage, and out of the way of the door. It wasn't a task he had enjoyed, how could it have been? But... He had to see Hitsu.
Visibly shaking, Yuki intentionally placed himself between Neko and the door as Suto opened it, encase this freak got any more horrible ideas. It was fortunate, at least to a small level, that Suto seemed only to be interested in him. Neko would be safe, he hoped. Wordlessly, Yuki stepped out of the room and into the hallway to follow Suto.

With his fingers Suto motioned Yuki along. “This way please.” He let the door close behind Yuki before they left and lead the way down a series of hallways. They were by no means headed in the direction that Hitsu was being kept instead Suto made his way deep into the labyrinth. The temperature began to drop to the point of freezing and the smallest amount of breath was visible in the air. At the end of a long dark hallway was a door, which Suto opened with his keycard.
The room on the other side was large and dark and the only source of light came from the incinerator in the back. It was a morgue. The cool air seemed to keep the scent down but death still lingered in the air taunting the nose. There were a few bodies covered up on tables throughout the room and large panels that looked as if they could be pulled out of the walls where no doubt more bodies were stored. Stepping aside, Suto gave Yuki free assess to enter. “You may find what your looking for inside.” Suto’s golden eyes followed Yuki’s every movement. He was focused though his expression didn’t show the same amount of enjoyment as before.

[Holy s**t, I don't even know how to react to this properly. D8 All I can say is that I'll try my best.]
As they walked, Yuki had thought in silence. Wondering where he was being taken, why they were moving so far. This place was massive, just when one could assume they'd reached a dead end the seemingly endless maze of corridors. As they drew closer to the morgue, Yuki could smell it. Just barely at first, but by the time they stood outside the door he felt queasy from both the scent and the certainty that the source of it was their destination. He was really going to see Hitsu. Dead. He was suddenly reluctant of the idea, but he would not turn back.
The door opened, and it wasn't until then that Yuki noticed his own shaking. There was a moment in which he stared into the room, eyes fixed on the eerie glow from farther in. He knew that Suto had spoken, and that had urged Yuki to cross the threshold, however the man's words were little more than an incoherent murmur to his ears. Barely two feet into the room, he stopped. Gaze traveled from one body to the next, to the drawers along the walls, and back to the tables again. One of these... He was supposed to look for her himself? His stomach felt as though it had tied itself into knots, he felt sick. Slowly, he approached one of the nearest bodies, reaching out for the sheet that hid the identity of the deceased. He felt torn two ways; He did not want to find her there, but at the same time he knew he must. If she was really gone, he had to see it with his own eyes. It was the only way he could accept it.

[My next post will be the whole process with Neko....if you can't think of anything to post I can just add it on here and we can figure something out from there XD;]
Suto waited for a few moments, watching Yuki intently before he slowly shut the door. Edging it closed as quietly as possible he made sure it was locked. Patting the door briskly he smiled as if he was looking at Yuki somehow through the cold steel. “Thank you, Yuki, for making your friend a little easier to manage.” And with that Suto turned and left intent to leave Yuki to look for his sister that was not there. He would come back in a day or so after Yuki would no doubt be in some sort of mental state and the cold would help his condition along nicely. It was surprising he wasn’t dead yet and that alone was amusing.
His first stop brought him back to the testing area where he instructed his lab techs to go collect Neko from his cellblock and not to worry since he was unconscious. He would be brought back here where Suto would run through a series of tests before conducting any experiments. After his instruction was laid down Suto left while they went to collect Neko to check in on Mitsu.
His walk to solitary was a long one and it was nearly as cold there as it was in the morgue. At the end of the hall, Suto stopped at the glass window and looked in. Mitsu was awake now and curled up in the corner of the room, hiding behind the gurney. She had her knees drawn up to her chest and her head lowered down onto them covered with her arms. The marks on her back had already stopped bleeding but they had a long way to go before they were completely healed.
“Sweet little girl,” Suto mused as he placed a hand on the glass. He did not fear being seen it was a one way window, Mitsu’s side being a mirror that she couldn’t see through. A few minutes went by as he continued to study her small form in the corner until he was satisfied that she was on her way to learning her lesson. Nodding to himself he made his way back to the testing area, there was work to be done.

[I have an idea of what I want Yuki to do, whether it makes a halfway decent post or not is left to be seen. XD Or, you know, it was when I typed this statement.]
Suto's closing of the door went without notice, and probably would for quite some time. Yuki was fixed on the task at hand, as horrible a task as it was. He gripped the sheet, and tugged it slowly away from the face that it hid. It was not Hitsu, and Yuki visibly exhaled his held breath. There was a burning in his eyes, but it was not for the dead experiment lying in front of him. It was the realization that sooner or later, no matter how much he denied the possibility, one of these would be his sister. Just because this one was not didn't mean that she wasn't here. He did not want to continue, but he had to. It would be more painful to ignore this, not see her, despite her lifelessness. This, he had been repeating over and over in his mind. He replaced the sheet over the corpse he had uncovered, and moved to the next.
There hadn't been many bodies in the open, and for several moments after he had checked them all Yuki looked to either side of the room, overwhelmed by the sheer number of panels in the walls. The stench of death was nauseating, trapped in here with no effective means in which to get rid of it. They couldn't possibly all have someone inside, could they? Shivering both from cold and anxiety, he forced himself to move, going first to the far end of the room since he was nearly there. He'd start there, move toward the door, and back down the other side in order to check them all if he had to.
This process started out slow as well, he would slide out a panel, check the identity and slide it back in. Yuki was intent on being respectful about the process while he still held onto a little bit of self control. Sure, they were dead, but it wouldn't be right to rattle them around, he'd wager that they'd been through more than enough before they made it here. Yuki made in through half of the panels, and paused alongside the door. He'd probably been within the morgue for an hour or more, and it wasn't until now that he'd processed the absence of the scientist who had brought him here. However, his mind was elsewhere, and Yuki did not care at current. There were still many panels to open, but he was beginning to get worried. What panels that did hold bodies on the other side either contained grotesque creatures, or mutilated bodies of various animals. Some had clearly been dissected. Others... Yuki was sure he didn't want to know.
The care toward the unnamed dead had steadily began to decrease, with each panel turning up either empty, or generally void of the one he was searching for. By the time he had gotten four rows down he was slamming each panel back into place, roughly jerking the next one open only to discover that it too did not contain his sister. Nor did the next one, or the next one. Certainly, if he did find her in the frantic state he was going into, it wouldn't have helped him feel better. Though, when the very last turned up nothing, he wailed in frustration and pounded a closed fist into the wall. He leaned against it, furious and confused. He wracked his brain; Suto had tricked him, she wasn't here. Did this mean she was alive? No, he couldn't let himself think this way again. Yuki had demanded to see his sister, and Suto had brought him here.
Yuki turned to look toward the door, to either side at the panels yet again. Had he not recognized her? Had he forgotten to open one? He couldn't remember anymore. His heart pounded painfully against his chest, and despite the cold of the room he had worked himself up to the point of breaking a sweat. He'd checked them all, hadn't he? Yuki didn't know what to think, he wanted to collapse. His body had long before started to ache from the cold, and the moisture on his skin was only making it worse. He turned his back to the door, and halted. He'd glanced at the incinerator time and again since he came into the room, but truth be told he had no idea what it was and felt no urge to investigate until now. Besides, what else was left?
The faint glow from within had led him to believe that it was a fire used for warming the building, or something of that sort. If that was so, why was it so cold here? That couldn't be right. He looked in front of the huge door, down at the floor, finding no materials that should have logically been fed to the flames regularly. What was it for? He tried to glimpse through the slotted windows, but they were soiled with ash. Curiosity was dangerous, and that was no exception here. Yuki took hold of the handle and opened the door, flinching as waves of heat erupted from the incinerator and out into the morgue. There was no burning, but it was a very drastic change in temperature. In the moment that his eyes had adjusted, they widened in horror and he took several hasty steps backward and away from the incinerator. Within the pit of ash, there was no mistake, he'd seen bones. Large bones. They had burned bodies in it. Yuki found himself choking, the new stench of the room was sickening, and he quickly adverted his gaze as he closed the incinerator door. It felt so much colder now, but he wouldn't open it again. He understood now, why he hadn't found Hitsu.
He panted, heart pounding faster than he expected it capable of. He looked around him, to the door, as though denying what he had just found would make it false. That he would have missed something, somehow. How could they do this to her? How could they throw his sister into the fire like she was nothing more than garbage? His body seemed to move on it's own accord, to the door where he tried to escape. It was locked, but he franticly fought with the handle for his freedom for several seconds before he backed off. He stood there, catching his breath, staring at the door. Then, his face contorted with rage.
"YOU SON OF A b***h!" He cried, to the man that was nowhere near. He brought his hands to either side of his head, clutching it as he desperately wished for all of the horrible images to cease. He saw her, and he saw fire. He could hear her screaming, and Yuki screamed even louder. The nearest object suffered from his madness, as Yuki turned his fury to and flipped one of the tables. The body that it held fell to the floor, but the table was virtually snatched from the air. Adrenaline in his favor, Yuki swung it effortlessly with both arms straight for the locked door. He let it go, and it met its mark with a deafening crash.

In the mean time, while Yuki spent his time searching for a sister that was not to be found, Suto was spending his time toying with his new experiment. Neko had been brought back to the testing area with ease and was now strapped down from head to foot on the same table that Hitsu lay on not but hours before. For the longest time he lay unconscious while Suto went about his work but the sudden touch of cold steel slicing into his arm forced him to wake. He let out a sharp yell of surprise, panting as he looked around frantically trying to remember where he was. Turning his head from side to side he quickly realized this was not the room he had originally been in, where was he now?
Head turned in the other direction and his sight settled on Suto’s form looming over him with a scalpel held neatly between his fingers. The blade was dripping with blood and Neko knew that it was his own. “b*****d,” He spat in his rage pulling against his restraints. His bonds proved to be heftier than he expected as they kept him in place with no problem.
“I hear that quite often, but I can assure you that it’s not true.” Suto’s voice was casual as he went about his work. “You’re recovery time is quite impressive,” Suto mused as he watched the wound he had made stop bleeding and show the first signs of healing. “Very impressive.” Making a note of what he saw he left Neko’s side for a moment to search about his desk not far off.
While he was gone, Neko went about looking around the room again for any possible means of escape. It wasn’t until he looked toward Suto again that his eyes drifted across the rabbit kept by the desk. From the distance he was at it looked normal enough but upon further inspection he realized it wasn’t moving. Focusing on it even more Neko realized that it was missing large patches of fur, no eyes were visible in the dark sockets in its skull, and bits of bone were showing through along its spin. Nose wrinkled in disgust, Neko wasn’t sure what to think. Just when he was pretty sure he knew how crazy this scientist was he was quickly proven wrong.
“Admiring Flopsy, are we?” Suto had returned to his side without his notice. Apparently his attention to the rabbit had been more focused than he had thought. “She is quite sweet, but a feisty little thing. She’s always getting into trouble.”
Seriously? Neko’s eyes showed his concern as Suto stepped closer, a medical bag in tow. “What are you going to do to me?” Despite obviously being nervous, Neko’s voice hid it well.
“Simple, I want to see what makes you you. I want to see what makes you tick.” Setting the medicine bag on the table beside Neko, Suto opened it and began to rummage. “You are a rare case, so rare I have yet to have had the pleasure of seeing a Nekomata. I want to know everything. What is myth and what is real.” From the bag Suto pulled out an electrical probe. “You obviously have a high healing ability, but how far does it go I wonder. Are there things you can not heal from? I also hear your kind are shape shifters.” Suto paused and looked to Neko for a moment to see if he would willingly supply him with any answers. When all he got was a chilling glare and silence he went on. “I want to see what your limits are.” Turning the electric rod on, Suto touched the tip of the probe to the side of Neko’s face and enjoyed the yelp he got in response.
“YOU SON OF A b***h!” Neko yelled his breathing once again erratic. He had no way to defend himself, what was he going to do?
“I’ve heard that one quite often too,” Suto smiled as he brought the probe down again this time jabbing it into Neko’s collarbone. “But as before I can assure you it’s not true.”
Trying not to scream, Neko nearly bite his tongue instead. The pain of being jabbed in the collarbone accompanied with the jolts of electricity was like nothing he had ever experienced. When it was finally over Neko’s breaths came in short hard pants as the pain slowly dulled. He could feel his heart racing in his chest but could do little to help calm it.
“Interesting,” Suto said as he jotted down some more of his findings though Neko wasn’t sure what.
“Where’s Yuki?” It wasn’t until now that Neko had remembered. Being rather self-centered did that to a person.
“He’s in the morgue.” Suto’s statement had been matter of fact and Neko didn’t like it one bit.
“Liar.”
“And why would I lie? Do you see him here?” A simple gesture to look around and Suto’s eyes settled back on Neko.
“Where is Hitsu?”
“Again with Ms. Hitsuzen. I really wouldn’t worry about her. I would worry about yourself. We have a long way to go.” A demonically sadistic smile spread its way across Suto’s face. As promised, the next hour of Neko’s life was the worst he had ever know. By the end of his run he was sure death would be a much kinder fate than the pain he had experienced.
------------------
Down the hall from the morgue, Yuki’s tussle with the table had gathered him some attention. Two curious techs had made their ways from their office to see what all the noise was about. Needless did they know that there was danger looming in the darkness of the morgue.

Metal met metal, and apparently the table was stronger. It dented the door, and while that was an expected reaction it did not stop there. The door was ripped from the hinges and twisted open and halfway out into the hall. At first, Yuki was stunned. While inwardly he'd wanted something to be damaged, he hadn't expected the attempt to be quite as fruitful as it was. It was only a second of shock, as just as quickly as he'd processed his access to the outside he rushed toward the door. He climbed over the table and what remained of the door, out into the hall where he quickly noticed that he was not alone.
One of the two had been stupid enough to stand too close to the door, in result struck by it when it gave way, and laid in the hall unconscious. Yuki barely spared him a glance, just long enough to confirm that he was not a worry. The other, however, looked as shocked as Yuki had a moment ago. Before the tech chose to run, Yuki quietly closed the gap between them and reached out to take the tech by the throat. "Where is he!?" Yuki demanded, referring to Suto. With his grip, it was unlikely there'd be more than a sputtered answer, but this didn't seem to dawn on Yuki just yet.
[Yeah, I left you to control the guy for the most part. I hope that's ok. XD;]

Wide-eyed the tech drew up a shaky hand and pointed down the hall. “T..t…testing area.” Hopefully if he complied his life might be spared. At least he hoped so. The grip around his throat however made him feel uneasy, especially how it threatened to crush his wide pipe.
----------
“Now, what should we try next?” Suto beamed as he pealed the bloody latex glove from his hand. He had been having a bit too much fun experimenting with Neko’s regenerative ******** you,” Neko heaved. His body ached all over Suto had done a far better job of carving him up like a turkey than even Yuki had managed earlier. There was no reply from Suto instead he reached for his clipboard and jotted down some more notes. “What? No witty retort?”
“Would you care for one?” Suto asked calmly still looking over his previous notes and adding things to them. This alone seemed to anger Neko, not that much didn’t at this point. Gathering up saliva in his mouth, Neko spit at Suto leaving a bloody mess across his face. It was about the only retaliation Neko could do at the moment and it didn’t even come close to quenching his thirst for revenge. “I would suggest you not do that again.” Wiping the spit and blood from his face Suto set his clipboard aside.
“Or you’ll do what? Torture me?”
There was that smile again, Neko hated it with every fiber of his being but at the same time he was slowly coming to fear it. Because every time he saw that particular smile it meant only one thing, there was more too it than what he thought. It meant that there would be more pain, more suffering, and above all else more bleeding.
“My dear boy, this is only the icing on the cake. There is so much more in store for you.”
Neko had seen that coming and it made it all the worse to hear confirmed. He felt like he had been run through everything possible and more and this mad man was telling him it was only the beginning? What other kind of sick things did he have in mind? For a moment Neko began to wonder if Mitsu had gone through all this and for how long. It was no wonder she was as timid as she was.

As soon as Yuki gained his answer, he smiled. However, it wasn't at all the smile typical of him. There was no true happiness to it, in fact, it was downright creepy. In one swift motion, he jerked the scrawny man full off of his feet to meet the wall alongside them headfirst. Be it neck or skull, something gave an audible crunch, and Yuki released the man to fall in a heap to the floor. He didn't move, and at this state Yuki didn't much care if either of them were going to ever wake. All of the ones roaming free in these halls, those helping this madman in all of the horrible things he did... They were the garbage, the filth that he wouldn't let stand in his way. Yuki cast a glance down either end of the hall, to be sure no others had come to investigate the noise. None.
Yuki bent down to search the pockets of the two lying in the hall. He found a card on each of them, both identical and Yuki believed they were the same type of card that Suto had swiped to open the door to the morgue. Those should be useful, and he kept them. He also found pens, no less than a dozen of them. At first, he wondered what use such things could be, but pocketed them for himself. One end was sharp enough to penetrate flesh, if he tried hard enough.
Body searching aside, Yuki stood and quite casually walked down the hallway in the direction that the tech had gestured. Back where he had come from, apparently. He listened intently for any sound of footfall, eyes on the end of the hall for anything or anyone that might happen upon him. Each door with a window was carefully passed, typically with him able to carefully glance inside before ducking out of sight. Luckily, most inhabited rooms contained people that weren't interested in staring at the door for any passersby.

“So, tell me of your family,” Suto went on as he prepared his next experiment for Neko.
Neko’s tail twitched uneasily at the mention of his family. This mad man had taken his family from him, what right did he have to ask about them. “If you hadn’t killed them, I’m sure you could have asked them yourself you sick ********.” There was a spark of fire in Neko’s eyes, a glint of his demon side starting to show through. He didn’t want to fight it anymore, he wanted to hurt this man, kill this man. Rip him limp from limp and when he would beg for mercy Neko would be sure to torture him slowly as he was sure Suto would do the same.
“I’m talking about your real family, I know for a fact you are of no relation to the girl and if Yuki was her brother than you are in no relation to him. I’m talking about your parents.”
Neko didn’t feel any more inclined to spill his guts about his mother or demon b*****d of a father. Why did he need to know all these things anyway? “Forget it.”
Shrugging, Suto took up one of Neko’s own blades and looked at it fondly. It was silver from blade tip to handle and gleamed nicely under the light. Neko looked nervously at the blade unsure what else Suto had in store for him but he was soon to find out as Suto plunged the knife deep within his chest. “I told you I wanted to see what made you tick.” An amused smile crossed his face as Neko drew in an unsteady gasp of pain. Holding the knife firmly in this fist Suto pulled it downward opening up Neko’s chest to just above his navel. When the blade started to move splitting through his sternum that’s when Neko let out an almost deafening yell. Through the entire process he thrashed trying to break free screaming for Suto to stop. When the blade was retracted Neko still yelled out in panic, blood was running freely down his body and there was nothing he could do to stop it. If left alone it would heal but he was certain that’s not what Suto had in mind.
“Open wide,” Reaching down Suto pried his fingers into Neko’s chest cavity pulling his rib cage apart. Ribs began to crackle and pop as they were moved out of place or broken. Neko’s screaming continued and all he wished for was for this to end or at least to pass out, he was granted with neither.
Stepping back Suto seemed to admire his handy work before he went about rummaging through his bag again. Drawing back he pulled out a small metal devise and placed it on the inside of Neko’s rib cage right by his heart. After it was in place Suto seemed to stare in amazement watching Neko’s heart thump in its panic to survive. Neko’s screams of agony seemed to fall of deaf ears as Suto continued to watch in wonder.

Soon, Yuki came to a familiar corridor. On either side, the cells containing the helpless victims. His feeling of guilt surfaced again, as he wondered which room his sister had been confined to, or if she'd been in one of them at all. Cold, alone. Yuki shuddered lightly, I'll make that b*****d pay... If I have to kill myself in the process... His steps slowed as he passed the corridor, until he had come to a stop just barely at the other side. He held one of the keycards in his hand, and he ran his fingers along one edge of the thin plastic.
One step backward, and he peered down the hall. No techs seemed to be roaming about, it was really rather strange. Apparently, they had much better things to do when they didn't think their experiments were escaping. All the better to piss him off... He mused in his head, a faint smirk curling one side of his lips as he approached the first cell door. I'll set them all free. Card swiped, and Yuki glanced around quickly as the lock gave a beep as it allowed him access. Good, it had done just what he expected. He opened the door just enough to leave it ajar, glancing toward the window as he passed. He had little time to get their attention, and it was too dangerous to risk speaking to them. This process continued as he moved down the hall, any who actually looked up to him were given a silencing gesture, followed by a point toward the ceiling. Some didn't seem to process that he was trying to help, they looked just as good as dead where they were. Reluctantly, he tried his best not to linger in any one place for too long.
He'd made it more than halfway down the hall, an expression of triumph plain on his face. Not much farther, and he'd make his run for it, to go and find Neko and get the both of them out of here. Key swiped the next lock, and he looked up to the person inside. He froze. "My God." He gasped, though quickly shutting his mouth again. He'd forgotten the need to remain silent, but with what he'd just seen, it was to be understood. Instead of passing this cell by, he entered it and approached the gurney. The dark hair looked so familiar, and his heart ached for this to be real. He didn't want to find another disappointment, another trick of this place. He hesitated a couple of feet away, looking behind him to the hall. No people to be concerned about, not yet. The one on the gurney stirred, face covered by a pale arm as though trying to hide from whoever had entered. Yuki took a deep breath, trying to ready himself for mistaken identity. "H-hitsu...?"
There was a gasp, and she quickly sat up. She stared at him in shock, and Yuki did much the same. She had been crying, and while it pained Yuki to see it he was so happy. Happy that he had found her, and more importantly, he had found her alive. Neither of them tried to speak, as the realization to both that the other was fine brought both to tears. The good kind of tears, which weren't quite so hard to let flow. Hitsu rose from the gurney and rushed to Yuki, and with arms outstretched he embraced her as she wrapped her arms around his middle. Never again did he think he'd see her, and to be hugging his little sister now, it was like everything was suddenly better.
Then, reality violently snatched them back, with a scream that rang out through the halls. Yuki had to clamp a hand over Hitsu's mouth to keep her from screaming as well, and he gestured for her to stay where she was as he went to the door. A glance down each end of the hall produced no techs, thankfully. Yuki motioned his sister to him, and reached out for one of her hands once she was close. He wasn't going to lose her again, he'd make sure of it.
Previous caution seemed to be thrown to the wind, as Yuki rushed down the corridor leaving Hitsu to run in order to keep up and not be dragged. She wanted to ask how he got free, where they were going, where Neko and Mitsu were, but knew it was not the time. Hopefully, they would find them soon, and they could all leave this horrible place together. As they continued to run, Neko's screams only seemed to grow louder and more desperate. This only seemed to speed Yuki up, and in little time he'd reached the door that they had entered a few hours before, and he quickly forced the door open and tugged her toward it. He was shocked, and slightly irritated, when she pulled against him.
"We're not leaving without them." She stated, looking frightened.
"I know that, but you're not staying in here." Yuki replied, looking impatient. "Just wait for me outside this door, you'll be safe there." The thought of the bodies outside seemed not to cross his mind, all he wanted was a sure way to keep her from being captured again.
"I don't want to leave without you!" She protested, looking even more frightened at the thought of being alone again. Yuki quickly shushed her, as she had spoken too loud.
His grasp firm on her hand, he pulled her forward and hugged her gently. "I know you're scared, but-" In one swift motion, he plucked her from her feet and wheeled around to place her safely on one of the steps. She stared at him, apparently late to figure out what just happened. "Sorry!" Before she could shout at him, he slammed and locked the door to keep her from coming back inside. He turned, groaning lightly to himself. She wouldn't let him hear the end of that, but there were more important things to worry about, and he didn't need her slowing him down. His next task was to follow the source of the screaming they'd heard, the uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach told him that it was where he would find his friend.

Suto had left Neko to writhe in pain on the table while he went about scratching notes out onto his clipboard again. The fact that Neko was still split open from collarbone to navel didn’t seemed to concern the scientist any nor did the pleas and screams from his victim. “You are quite the noisy one, aren’t you? Can’t put up with a little pain?” Suto set his clipboard aside again satisfied with the notes he had taken. This experiment had been the best yet; the fact that Neko was still alive thrilled Suto to no end. He would be sure to test him out on some of the things that had killed other subjects.
“b*****d!” Neko yelled out in pain again. Every breath was painful and the fact that he could see his own insides wasn’t helping the matter any. He was sure this would be his end and he secretly hoped the other two hadn’t died in this manner. It was too painful to think about. Gritting his teeth Neko tried his best to keep from screaming. It was difficult to say the least.
“There, now that wasn’t so hard was it?” Suto asked as he stepped closer satisfied that Neko was now silent. “But now its time to close you up.” Pressing his hands on either side of Neko’s rib cage, Suto forced it back into place. The bones that had been broken cracked in protest to this action leaving Neko to wail out in pain once again. Once back in place Suto went about drawing up a rather large needle and thread and slowly stitched Neko back up.
