Star whipped around as someone spoke to her. "Who the hell are you and why the hell are you talking to me?" Star sked, real pissed about the whole Nathan thing.

Melissa could feel her cheeks burning hot. Trying to make herself as small as possible, she was startled when someone grabbed her, but a second after she realized it was Ophelia and let her grab her out the classroom, sending an apologetic look at the teacher who waved his hand in dismissal.
Sitting down and resting her back against the wall, the redhead took a deep breath. She was used at being laughed at, and sent dirty looks, but she still couldn't make sense of what had just happened. "Yes, I am...just...confused. What the hell was all that about, you reckon?"

Ophelia plopped down on the ground beside melissa and blew one of her blue streaks of hair out of her face.
"Hell if I know. I think that the barbie b***h and the narcissist are plotting something, but I don't know what. Apparently he wants you at his party. Go if you want but know that I'm coming with you in case they try to pull anything."

Alexx turned away and sighed deeply. "I'm Alexx, and I don't know, everyone here is your friend, so I thought i would be able to be your friend too." She said as she blushed a little bit. She wasn't good with people, especially people like Star.

Star actually smiled and laughed at this. "You? Be my frie--" Star stopepd mid-sentence, thinking about it. Theis girl could help her get Nathan back. "-I think that's a great idea." Star siad, giving a fake smile, that no one could tell was a fake. This girl could definatly help her.

Alexx smiled, "okay then!" She looked around and thought for a bit, it was pretty quiet. "So do oyu want to hang out with me sometime then?" She asked Star.

"Yeah. I'll catch ya later sometime. But I have to go now..principle's office." Star said, turning back the way she was headed and went towards the office. As she entered, the secretary gave her a look and sent her in.
*TEN MINUTES LATER*
"Yes, it was all a misunderstanding. I'm glad you understand." Star said as she headed out. She had folled the principle, and was free of detention.

Alexx just waved bye when she left, and when she came out she ran over ot her, "so do you wanna hangout sometime soon, like you wanna hangout now or something?" She asked Star.

Melissa considered her friend's words cautiously. "I'm not sure. I mean, a party invitation from Nathan? In the best possible scenario, he wants to add me to his wall of trophies...which ain't gonna happen, and even stupid as he is, he should know that." She sighed, rubbing her temples. "But you're right, there's something fishy about all this. I could stay put and thwart their plans...but then I wouldn't know what they want nor why...Hell, maybe it was just a joke to make the class laugh at me." She was thinking out loud more than exactly talking, but she knew her friend was used to that. On her mind ran the several possible scenarios, and she liked none of them.

Alter sauntered into the school building, obviously not caring that he had already missed two class period. First day in a new school, he didn't want to make a bad impression.
He walked through the hallways, giving dirty glances to anyone who happened to stare at his belted pants and tattoos. His brother sent him here to fix him up, but Alter knew very well that wasn't going to happen.
He passed a couple of girls sitting in the hallway; one looked like a totally uptight nerd while the other looked like a sad excuse for somebody with a f*cked up life. He walked by without giving them a second glance.
He somehow managed to pass the office, but didn't bother going in. This time he passed the popular b*tch of the school and an emo. He could tell the former due to the way she was manipulating the other. He had caught a bit of their conversation and figured it wasn't worth investigating. He was about to keep walking when he felt the sudden urge to introduce himself, make some friends. 'What the f*ck? Since when did I need friends?!' He thought angrily, even as he turned to the girls.
"Hey-" he was about to say something relatively nice when he decided he didn't like the popular girl's smile. Didn't like the way she was leading the other girl on. He went against his original urge and said, "Wipe that fake smile of your plastic face and try acting human for once." Alter knew he was coming off as the random angry jerk who goes around looking for trouble, but hey, that's who he really is.
Alter turned to the emo. "Don't let a girl like her fool you. I know the type." He started walking away.

Star's smile fell as the guy called her out. "What the ********..? Jackass. How about you wipe that ******** attitude away and get with the program." Star yelled, making it clear to everyne he had upset her. A few of the jocks looked agrily his way, cracking their knuckles.

Alter laughed loudly, especially when the jocks started glaring. He looked at the girl over his shoulder as he kept walking. "You know, for a slut you're not that hot," he said. He tried to imagine her beating someone up. The mere idea just made him laugh harder. "And for a b*tch, you really don't know how to bring a real man to his knees."
Inside his mind, Alter was thinking that he blew it. He'd be alone again. Oh well, at least he taught that girl a lesson. He hoped so. At least there was one thin he'd enjoy this year: ticking that one girl off. Her reaction was so infantile that it made Alter want to get her real pissed at him so he could have a laugh everyday.
"Man, I don't know how girls like that think they have all the power," he muttered to himself.

"I'd like to see you try," Alter replied. He just kept walking. He actually wished that she would try and beat him up. Not that he'd hit a girl. She probably wouldn't do anything, rather, she'd get one of her lackeys to beat him up for her. 'That would still be fun, one of these stuck up pretty boys trying to hurt me? HA!'
Alter turned around as he spoke to the girl again. "You might wanna get one of your pretty boy suck ups to try, though, since I don't fight wimps."
