"Hello? Jessica? Are you there?" Scratching his head in mild annoyance and confusion, the young man made his way across the hallway of the orphanage building, opening every door and looking into every room, with little success. No matter where he checked, no matter how many times he checked, he could not find his girlfriend. Which could mean only one thing...

"Damn it, Vel, stop killing off my girlfriends!" Kicking the door open, Triskellion walked into Veliofi's room, a scowl on his face. What greeted him was not funny.

Jessica - or the corpse formerly known as Jessica - was sprawled on the floor, with a limb or two seperated and nailed to the wall among so many other limbs. Her face was horribly mutilated and missing an eye, a nose and a large quantity of flesh, which really couldn't have been good for her looks or her health. The carpet was soaked with blood, destroying whatever pattern might have been on it and replacing it with a deep, rich red. And amidst all this was a young woman, standing in the middle of the room while fiddling with a rusty saw.

The young woman in question had very, very long black hair, covering most of her face and reaching down to the floor. Like that movie, Ju-On. Where that ghost-monster-thing has hair so long, she can choke people to death with it. While drinking Earl Grey tea. In short, it was long. Her clothes were simple, much like the clothes of most of those in the Sniperville Orphange. After all, the Orphanage had better places to spend money. Who needed fancy clothes, anyways? Certainly not the orphans.

"For the love of God, why'd you kill Jessica? Hell, why do you keep killing my girlfriends?"

Veliofi's answer was simple.

"... Simple."

"Eh?"

"She wasn't good enough for you. None of them were good enough for you. Don't you see?" she continued, walking towards Triskellion, "that they're only trying to use you? They don't deserve someone like you. They're inferior! You shouldn't be with them, you should be with me!" Holding her hand to her chest, Veliofi leaned towards the young man, so that she was staring directly upwards - she was shorter than him - in the eyes. Her voice dropped until it was barely audible, and Triskellion was forced to lean even closer to hear her words. "Why can't you see that? Why? Why? WHY?"

"Vel, how many times do I have to tell you? You and I? Never going to happen! You're like a little sister to me, for God's sake!" Triskellion shook his head in exasperation. "And say that I understand your motives for killing my girlfriends. But then, why do you have to kill every single woman who approaches me? You even killed the head chef of the orphanage! Where in the world are we supposed to find someone who can make a dish of heated water like her? When she made heated water, it tasted like water! That was heated! It's hard to find someone with her talents! You know the orphanage is short of money! It's hard to find help like her!"

"She was just after you, too! I noticed her look at you when you passed by! There was clearly lust in her eyes! She hungered after you! She wanted you, and would have done everything in her power to get you! She would strike up conversations with you just so she could get closer to you! I could tell!" No longer quiet and composed but instead delirious and passionate, Veliofi began to defend her actions. "And besides, how hard is it to make heated water? You just put water in a pan and heat it!"

"I barely knew the head chef! I only talked to her once during the five years I've been working here! And it too is hard to make heated water! You have to know the exact temperature! I tried at medium low and it took a few hours to make the perfect heated water! The head chef could do it in a matter of minutes!" Triskellion paused to punch the wall on his right, tearing through the layers of concrete as easily as a butter knife tore through something that would easily be torn by said butter knife. "Stop killing the women in my life, for God's sake!"

"So you do admit she was a woman in your life!" cried Veliofi triumphantly. "She was important to you, then?"

Triskellion sighed. "By woman in my life, I mean a woman I've known in my life. It doesn't have to mean someone important. Wait a minute... does that mean you're the reason why Elizabeth suddenly vanished last month? Because you thought she was a woman in my life?"

"Eh?" The girl tilted her head to the side. "No, I just don't like the name Elizabeth. I get an incredible urge to kill people with the name Elizabeth. It's a phobia. Of sorts."

"..." An awkward silence came between the two, and Triskellion decided that the topic needed to be changed. "So, anyhow... stop killing every woman I come into contact with."

"Never."

"Then at least give me a warning or something so I can do something about it."

"I refuse."

"... I'm glad we had this talk. Now, let's go. It's nearing dinner time and I'm hungry."

With that, the two of them walked off, discussing, among other things, the method of cooking the perfect heated water.
