((It's up to her what to name her cat, I think. And if you look at a post up there, you see the name Minxpelt. Which seems fine to me. I don't even know why ya'll are so worked up over it.))

(( Well, she said Minxpelt. Is her pelt the color of a Minx?))
Lightface, happy, went over to congratulate Minxpaw. "Dragoneyes will mentor you well." She mewed, before going over into her den.

((Guys the name is Minxpaw get over it.)) Lightpaw perked up her ears when she heard her name. When she heard Smallstar give the ceremony call she leapt up from where she was leaving her half finished prey and bounded to her place. She watched the ceremony with wide eyes, and didn't understand when Minxpaw flinched away from Smallstar. None the less, she walked up to Minxpaw when the ceremony was over and mewed quietly, "Congradulations." and walked a few paces away, feeling a little awkward, because Minxpaw didn't show much emotion at getting accepted into the clan, and getting a mentor, she would have been ecstatic. She was a little confused by this cat but maybe she'd get a chance to speak with her soon.

((Nightmare Giraffe:: Thanks for standing up, but To Kei:: Minx does mean 'impudent', 'flirtatious', and 'cunning' but at this moment cannot describe Hanuli because of her new enviroment. Much like a child, or to a stranger, and (in)experienced indiviual wouldn't act like oneself. However, through the descriptions of my previous post, it could be evident that Hanuli is 'minxish'... -Sans the flirtatious portion. Hanuli's 'Behavior' could be determined as 'devious' and 'blunt'. Also, Minx could be considered a type of cat, depending on the source you retrieve the information from. Either way, the two terms could be used with the suffix -pelt. So it's like Devious -pelt (Which means, stealthy and hidden.) or Minx -Pelt (Which describes a Manx + Bobcat. Or Manx + Sphynx.) Which is both legitiment for a cat name... -Let's just say... I like being different.
biggrin ))
Minxpaw glanced over at SmallStar but took heed back to Dragoneyes. 'Do what now?' As her ears jilted to the side so did her entire head but slowly approached Dragoneyes; the movement of her paws showing an evidence of anxiety. Being force to approach someone to do something absolutely silly wasn't her thing. Usually Minxpaw followed when she was told to, but never approached anyone on her own whim. As her tail straightened out from behind her. Pausing once or twice, she managed to lightly tap Dragoneye's warm nose with her own before she backed off. Her eyes were attached to Dragoneyes, watching intensively for any signs of movement. However, she soon relaxed and glanced over at the two other cats, Lightface and Lightpaw thanking them both tersely. Minxpaw now felt anxious, what was there to do now? It was evident that the prideful nature that was expressed in her first few hours of adaptation was gone... At least for the moment. This whole ceremony wasn't as significant as a lion's initiation ceremony... Which took about three passing suns to complete. "Is that it?" She remarked rudely.
((Sorry it took longer to post then expected... I forgot I was on IE and it deleted my post when I wanted to refresh. Blasphemy!))

(( 'K. By the way, love the name, Stickytack. LOL!))
Lightface glanced over her shoulder, and called out, "Hawkpaw! We need to gather more catmint!" No matter if a new cat joined the Clan, she still needed to make sure she didn't run out of any herbs.

((Sorry MissDevient, but the definition I found said cunning, flirtatious, and impudent, so that's what I thought you meant. Not what you've just described. Hehe. Sorry. sweatdrop ))
Smallstar nodded to Minxpaw and then flicked his tail for her to follow him. "Come," he said to her calmly, "I'll have Lightpaw show you the apprentice den. Then Dragoneyes can show you our territory borders, if you are up to it, that is." He turned to Lightpaw, who was a few feet away. "Lightpaw," me meowed, "Come show Minxpaw where she will sleep."
He turned away from the two apprentices and walked up to Dragoneyes. "You can show her the territory today if you wish, but she may need to rest. She might not have gotten a good sleep last night."

((Eh, no worries. It would've probably been more better for me if I've been more thorough with my explanation. So we're both at fault. 3nodding To Tabool:: I guess you could either shimmy her in by making her a stray, 'Hooray, another initiation ceremony!' A formal house cat. A remnant of a now nonexistent clan in another territory... Or you could be as daring as making her affiliated with one of the clan-members. I don't know, you guys are more knowledgeable regarding scenarios~ Devise something brilliant!))
As Smallstar flicked his tail, she assumed, 'I guess I really can't say no... Can I?' The tip of her tail lightly treaded above the floor, tapping against any stray pebble as she strode to Smallstar. However, upon hearing another order her ears cockeyed in a perplexed manner. 'Territory borders? I thought all the way to the scary land was their border. Well, this goes against all the rules of a wild instinct... The only territory she knew of were walls and steel bar cages. Also, since their place gets shifted as new animals were drafted or brought in, the words of the proud wildcats ingrained to her ever since she was a cub. But one thing always made her curious, 'if they have all these glorious stories to tell... How did they end up where they are now?' An answer she had never got. At the second mention of 'sleep' she snapped out of her daze, "...Heh sleep." Her body was obviously lax, demanding sleep from her nighttime rendezvous. Minxpaw decided to keep her insults and gestures until she'd at least dawdled half the day. 'Wonder if they'll wake me up like last time... Busy bods...' Whoever she had to follow first, was probably going to the be the first person moving with an insidious glare... So she tuned out once again, her mind far in a daze.

Dragoneyes nodded to Minxpaw, ignoring the slightly rude tone.
She turned to Smallstar, blinkinga this statement. "I would, but..." She flicked her tail over towards Minxpaw. "I think she would rather sleep. It must have been hard, you know? A new name and all, especially when you grew up without knowing everything."
She purred slightly. "I think tomorrow is fine for showing her around, unless she wants to be shown today." Dragoneyes turned to Minxpaw."Would you like to see the boundaries today or tomorrow?"
((@Lily Thanks! I had to think of something stupid to make my point. XD))

((Hey now that i think about it....i need a mentor too. It isn't urgent, but i don't want to be left without one. like last time (giraff you know what i'm talking about) thankyou ))
Lightpaw lifted her head, nodded to Smallstar in respect, and stood beside Minxpaw waiting for her to follow. She glanced at Minxpaw to see her expression but looked away quickly so she wouldn't see the curiosity in her eyes.

((Awww, I kind've wanted for it to be like one big class session. Or something like that. And well... The clan is still young. Per say. -OMG Happy 100 you guys. ;3 Viva la' WindClan!))
Minxpaw huffed, her tail still trailing low, "Let's get this over with." She said contradicting her own wish to rest as she padded over to Dragoneyes. Perhaps her expression had softened because of her lack of sleep, but her motives were unclear even to her ownself... At the moment at least. Her ears flicked as an invisible wind pricked it, "Shall we?" Minxpaw claimed, arguably one of the most 'friendliest' term she had ever used since her day here. She also did swear that a pair of eyes were watching her... From who, she was a bit too insensitive to care at the moment. Eyes were always watching her, since day one of her life but this would have to be one of the few times she didn't prod her rosy nose where it didn't belong.
