IndianapolisColtsFan Dude-LAP IndianapolisColtsFan knight_ man08 Dude-LAP Face it. Peyton Manning did not control the offense well, although his two tipped interceptions were not his fault. Harrison coming off his injury looked rusty, leading to his fumble after his first touch. Also, the defense played pretty bad, and could not keep up with the speed (of the backups) of the Chargers. The colts have not look like them selfs over the last cupple weeks i mean look ever sence thry lost to the patriots they have not been the same They lost alot this season. INJURY REPORT 76 Federkeil, Daniel Offensive Tackle IR Concussion 01-11-08 - 03:44 PM 93 Freeney, Dwight Defensive End IR Foot 83 Hall, Roy Wide Receiver IR Shoulder 20 Hughes, Dante Defensive Back IR 92 McFarland, Anthony Defensive Tackle IR Knee 85 Moorehead, Aaron Wide Receiver IR 94 Morris, Rob Linebacker IR Knee 34 Rushing, T.J. Defensive Back Probable Illness 42 Seidman, Mike Tight End IR Knee 37 Smith, Antonio Defensive Back IR Clavicle 86 Utecht, Ben Tight End Questionable Shoulder 51 Worsley, Victor Linebacker IR Foot Plus Marvin Harrison out most of the season. Anthony Gonzalez missed playing time. DE Robert Mathis missed 3 or 4 games. I was really surprised how the Colts' outside linebackers and secondary could not keep up to speed with the Chargers' 2nd and 3rd string running backs and lesser-known receivers. lmao. really. no speed. Even in the air too. The San Diego receivers often had big plays down the sidelines, and the Colts secondary (who have been so good all season) just looked confused.

The losses to the Titans and Chargers were pretty much flukes. They finished with a better regular season record than their Super Bowl Championship year, last season. They beat a great team in the Jaguars.

Don't know what happened there, but it seemed throughout the whole year that they weren't as confident. I guess the Patriots beat the Colts physically in their regular season matchup, but they also won mentally. The mental New England win drained a lot of Indianapolis confidence, which isn't why they performed so well.

I guess we (as in the Colts) just have to look forward.

Look forward to the draft (which Indianapolis scouts well in), and hope for no detrimental injuries like you experienced this season. Oh, and also hope for Dungy's return (a final decision should emerge in the next few days).

Things probably won't change too much if he decides to step down, but in best case scenario for the Colts, he needs to return. surprised
