Selene is saunters through the courtyard, a song blaring in her earphones. She was heading home from school, and being the strange girl she was, she loved having all eyes on her, whether they were mocking, staring, or cruel. She smiles a bit, spinning and singing perfectly pitched with the song. 'Into the Night - Santana feat. Chris Kroeger.' Like a gift from the heavens, it was easy to tell.
It was love from above that could save me from hell.
She had fire in her soul it was easy to see
how the devil himself could be pulled out of me.
There were drums in the air as she started to dance,
every soul in the room keeping time with there hands,
and we sang…

Nariko rolled her eyes. "Hey Munou-sensei? What is the real purpose of this fight? No teacher hosts a tournament among the students the first day of school unless he or she is trying to prove a point or teach a lesson. Is there a purpose to this?" she inquired sitting down with her back to the wall. She smirked "Or are you one of those cool teachers?" she added sarcastically.
[[I do not know about the rest of you, but I feel we need to take this role play somewhere. A school day can only be interesting for so long, what do you say we start the action part of this action role play?]]

[[Ah, now that is the question. I would suggest the students seeing L's first broadcast, or having them discover Kira's existance. We could all add ourselves in from the very beggining of the series. However, that is just my opinion.]]

An announcement boomed through the outdoor speakers "Good morning students and faculty. I apologize for disrupting class. I recomend all teachers turn on the classroom tv to view this broadcast. It is concerning Kira. Please tune in as soon as possble." the announcement ended.
Nariko rose an eyebrow "Well then, I suppose weshould head in." she stated blandly walking towards the door. The class soon filed in as Munou turned on the tv which revealed a man claming to be L. After his speech the man soon dropped dead.
Nariko gasped I cannot believe L was killed so easily. I thought Kir was just a myth, but this is proof that he exists. Now with L gone... her thoughts were interupted as a new screen came up on the tv. It was a black screen with "L" in the center. "The man who has just died was a criminal who was sentenced to be executed today. He was not L. I see that you can kill without coming in direct contact with your victim. So kill me." after a moment nothing had happened "I see that even Kira has limits to those he can kill. He needs a name and face. Though this was said to be a word wide broadcast this was only shown in the Kinto region of Japan. Now I know for sure that Kira is in Japan. I will find you." the digitalized voice that was L, threatened.
The broadcast ended leaving the class speechless. Nariko was in awe. She had heard that L was an incredible detective, but it still amazed her that he had figured out so much already. She shuddered, So Kira is in Japan.

Selena bounces up and down, clapping slightly. In her mind, she can't help but to think that Kira must be powerful. Too bad she thought, settling down and brushing her hair out of her face that he doesn't have the eyes like me. I wish he could just kill L and move on with this.. Maybe I should help too.. Hm... She looks around and, seeing Nariko, smiles.
"Hey Nari-chan!"

Nariko nods acknowledging Selena. She crossed her arms staring at the tv that was now returning to its rmal program. She shuddered, I know this is an event between two forces that I am apt to never come in contact with, but for some reason, this feels like the start of something huge. Nariko shook her head clearing her thoughts. That's stupid, i'm just caught up in the situation. She contradicted herself but could not shake the feeling that something was appraoching that would ultimately change every one of their lives.

Ida stood shocked for she had seen the broadcast from the office TV. Ida thought Man this L guy is good......but personaly I think that Kira is impresively skilled as well......hmmmm......I don't really know which side I'd prefer to be on right now.... Ida left the office and steped into a sleek, black car that had pulled into the school parkinglot and was driven away to the appointment she was shcedualed for.
