DaBonster I love it here, thanks! I was wondering if it's too late to do the last lesson. I didn't notice a deadline, but maybe I wasn't observant enough.
Only homework that won't be accepted now is homework for Lesson 1. All other ones are still available (an added bonus to my lack of time to update this place)

Has this class helped anyone yet?? Or are you still really confused?? I'm now open to any suggestions for future lessons. Only one suggestion will be taken though because it's almost final time!
IceeWitch I don't want to mess up, so what can't I do? (Lesson 4)
Well there are some rules, and we at HPGoG do not think it's too much. We like order, and there are a few rules to help us with the order. I'm not about to go over all of the guild rules because you should have read them before joining this guild. If you haven't then please read the second post. There are a few rules/guidelines that I've found have been ignored/forgotten lately. Well I'll remind you of a few. Very soon our guild will be going through a process we label "Operation Scourgify". It's where we take a few members who haven't posted in months off our lists. Simply put: Those members are banned (not permanently, just until they meet the posting requirements). The posting requirement minimum is five posts. That's not a lot! It takes less than FIVE MINUTES to make that requirement. What rule did I just go over? You must post. It's not an outrageous demand. Another rule, and I should have placed this first, is that AT ALL TIMES you must respect everyone in the guild. By respecting people it means you respect their opinions and whatnot also. Just because you might not agree with someone, does not mean you have to be rude about it. Please don't be rude. That's to everyone, not just mods. Here in HPGoG everyone has a voice that can be heard. *twitch* Spam is to HPGoG as a dirty Great Hall would be to the Hogwarts' house-elves. It is simply disgusting. Sure we understand you might slip and make a spam/repeated post. However, our understanding is limited. If a single person continues to make the same mistake (as mods we send out PMs) we'll start to think it's deliberate, and a punishment will have to happen. If you're unsure if your post (creating new threads particularly) is spam or not, then ASK. Every moderator has their PMs open, not just me. House Colors! This is the rule I think many new members hate the most. I know many people like those colors of blue, red, orange, and green. I personally like blue, but because house members are required to post in their house-colors, elves cannot. Otherwise it'd be pretty confusing. There are so many colors available that are closely related to the four House colors. Why not just try one of them? Lesson Four is coming to a close, but I have one more rule to mention. HOUSE COMMON ROOMS ARE NO MANS LAND UNLESS YOU OFFICIALLY BELONG TO THAT HOUSE. Yes, I put the caps lock on ya. That is really important. No member is allowed to go inside, let alone post, in another common room. That's forbidden. Sure we allow everyone into our neat little area, but that's how we mingle with the students! So for no reason at all should you go inside a House Common Room. Yep that's it. If there are ever any questions about a rule, PM a moderator. Homework: 1) There is a thread where a banning process was mentioned during the summer. Find that thread. (Hint: The thread is currently dead.) 2) HPGoG loves it when guild members get involved. Before Valentine's Day you will need to make a post in the SFQ. Please make sure it's either a suggestion or feedback (positive and negative welcomed). We want to hear from you. (Note: There's no link because you should know where to find it now)

"I'm sure this class helped all of us elves, Alicia-elf," Jerell smiled. 'Hmm... I wonder what the next lessons will be all about...' he thought to himself.

Michel de Nostradamus Can we do something that need teamwork like HP Survivor ? Maybe making new event for elves only ? I will help you to make it, it will be fun. I didn't organize the current event. My advice is to PM your ideas directly to Angilwingz and see what she thinks. At the moment I'm behind on loads of things and I don't have the time for that right now.
Thank you Jerell!

Schnerkel "Too late to do lesson 4? Oh no, I just finished mine yesterday - so you can definitely still do it!" mrgreen
Did you forget to PM a part of it to me??
The first page is TOTALLY UPDATED. I hope. There may be some mistakes, hopefully not many.
That also includes the Extraordinary Elves list. Now if I can only get to that Pear ninja

We could do house orientations where we get to know what its like to be on different houses and decide which we like best.

majestic mithras We could do house orientations where we get to know what its like to be on different houses and decide which we like best. That's a really good idea, too. I think it will also help if we can visit the common rooms- just to peek, not to post -to see if we like the students who live there or what they like to talk about. I'm not sure if this is allowed, since the rule page seemed to be against it. Maybe if we call it an "elf field trip"...

I like to peek at some house room, but i like to peek more at quidditch hall, i think it isn't against the rules as long as we don't post there. If we visit some house and posted there, it's against the rules. But it will be fun and the rules isn't write in the stone. Correct me if i'm wrong. Ps : "The rules isn't written in stones", i ever read this kind of phrase in this guild, someone know who ever say this ?

I just want to clarify:
The Guild Survivor event was open to all members. However, it was limited as to how many people can participate. It was on a first come, first served basis.
Now the common room idea (you guys are basically planning the roleplaying aspect of this class for me, yay!) is great. However, I don't think that we're going to allow the rules being bent. Who knows what the Ravenclaws might be scheming since they're soo intelligent *shudders* Besides it adds to the surprise of being sorted. We can't tell if you look in a common room, but we can definitely tell when you post in it, and that's against the rules. A rule that won't change. (Yes that was said in an argument the mods were having some time ago)
Quidditch Hall?? What's that?
I should also say that because Term is due to end really soon, there won't be enough time to begin a new chapter. So I'll be ending this class with another lesson, and then a final.
