Pyroth raised a brow slightly and added "I don't get much chance to appreciate food myself now I can't even handle it warm. Then again, I didn't eat much at all before I came to the island." The truth was that Pyroth had been dangerously underweight, surprisingly self concious all the way through his youth and beyond. Even now under the fur he was all ribs and bones. Still, that was one thing the fur was good for concealing.
"Still, at least now I'm motivated to eat something."
He picked up one of the steaks and took a bite out of it, letting the coyote think about it rather than him, if he concentrated, all he'd think about was how fattening raw steak was and feel ill again.
He gave Bobby a sympathetic look before adding "I think it would be nice not to be fussy for a change, just to be able to eat whatever."

Bobby laughed, she wished, at the moment, that she had the motivation not to eat. She had tried not eating once, to see if she lost weight... but the fat always came back. The woman had decided to just let things run its course, there was no going back now. "Well, then, I'll just have to fatten you up! Just because you're a coyote doesn't mean you need to be a toothpick. Besides, you don't need to impress anyone, and you are covered in fur that hides any effects."
She grinned happily, the motherly instincts kicking in, as usual.

Pyroth grimaced "I think I'd get ill if I ate more than I already do. I mean I used to try and eat more than I felt like but that erm....didn't work." he waved a paw "Nah, I eat what I can and no more than that, if the coyote had it's way it'd eat till it was sick then eat some more."
He wagged his tail appreciatively.
"But if it's your choice of meat that's the culprit then I'd probably go along with it to an extent." he took another bite of the steak, polishing it off "That was surprisingly tasty compared to the usual stale meat that's left over in the cafeteria most days."
He reached over (with some difficulty thanks to his stiff shoulders and thumbs) for another piece, figuring that he'd better at least eat a few, especially with the coyote so keen
"So what have you been up to since your change?" He'd been hiding mainly, but he wasn't about to admit that.

Bobby shrugged, "Trying to stay away from most people, although I have seen a few around. There are at least two new arrivals that I have met. A couple girls who were trying to free some animals from Feral Labs." With a long sigh, the woman frowned, "Sometimes the best intentions have the worst results." Well, she had learned that lesson the hard way!
"Hmm..." she said after a pause. "If eating makes you sick, then I may have to forget that idea... Oh! I think I've found out what animal I'm changing into." With a flinch, Bobby admitted to not only the animal, but who told her... "I know Billy was joking at the time, but I think it's a pig. It only makes sense with, well, everything."

Pyroth nodded, he knew how that went, the more you tried to avoid people, the more they found you. "Trying to free animals? Really?" That was the last thing they needed, to come face to face with the real versions of their animals, tigers and the like. "They should be working on freeing themselves."
He shook his head "There's no telling some people."
He tilted his head slightly on hearing of the animal she might be becoming "At least it's not a weak animal. I got kicked by a pig in the jungle not long ago, still got the scar actually."
"The Doctor doesn't have much of a sense of humour making you that of all animals." he frowned "The very fact he seems to be aiming for humour worries me though."

Bobby nodded, wiping some crumbs from her face, "Yeah, that's what Annie told me. She seemed a bit shocked when she saw that I had indeed changed...." With almost an ironic grin, the woman snorted, "Although, granted the circumstances, I would be inclined to be shocked as well... I mean... eight nipples?"
"I agree," the woman started after another big bite of food chewed and swallowed. "There didn't seem to be much thought in the selection, not the best in creativity, actually. It's not like I hadn't been called a pig before." Bobby grinned, her bottom teeth shining, "Actually, I've been called worse... though calling and changing are two very different things."
As for the question about pigs, the woman giggled low in her throat. "Oh, except for the obesity, and the fact I am changing into an animal, I don't mind all that much. Pigs are not the nicest creatures, although they are a prey animal. And I do get to sport some rather sharp bottom fangs." At that, she modelled them off.

Pyroth almost choked but managed somehow to regain composure as though his reaction hadn't been to the nipples. That /hadn't/ been something he'd thought of before. Most mammals had more nipples than humans, didn't they? "No wonder you were shocked." he said with a serious nod "Though most people who are becoming female mammals would be in the same boat, I'd guess." he wasn't sure wether to grin or not, finding the mental image both horrifying and slightly funny. He couldn't be called mean for doing so either, you had a right to grin at absurdity when you looked a little beyond absurd youself.
"But seriously, a police officer into a pig, wouldn't have seen /that/ one coming." he grinned and shook his head "Maybe you don't need wits to become a mad scientist these days, they probably leave that off the resume." he chuckled
He raised a brow at her fangs.
"Nice. I only have these"
He grinned wide enough to show his own sets of canines
"Pretty but useless for chewing."

Bobby sighed, "Well, it's probably one of those genetically altered pigs that is supposed to have enflamed nipples for milk production, or breeding." She almost physically flinched. "I think a goat and cow woman would have the same problem, but I don't think so much the other female mammals would have such unless they were lactating."
"I guess wits decreases as madness increases..." the woman pondered, thinking about them. "Do you think I might be able to fill out one of those resumes? Just to see where it gets me?"
Leaning forward, Bobby tried to inspect Pyroth's fangs. "Hmm... nice nice. You would do your dentist proud, no cavities!" she announced. "That is a good point, though. At least I can still eat the foods I love, I guess....!"

"That sounds like a pain." was all Pyroth could think of to say. "He could have at least used a boar or something less awkward for you." he shook his head "No, actually, what am I saying, he could have just let you and the rest of us go home from the first day. Bah."
He finished off the last steak and went on "Yeah, I think I'd make a pretty good mad scientist too, nothing like a scientist covered in fur who can't raise his arms above his own head. I'd like to see them find one much madder than that. Of course I've got no prior medical experience but I doubt that stopped them." he smirked and added jokingly " I think I'd look rather attractive in a labcoat and glasses. Like one of those dogs you see on postcards."
He chuckled "Greetings from the island, wish you were here! I could send it to my enemies."
"But seriously, I think you carry your changes remarkably well, I don't even notice them past your personality and that's the godshonest truth."

Bobby sighed, it came through her nose like a soft 'snork'. "We cannot turn back the hands of time, only deal with what is dealt our way." She didn't even want to think about her family at home, it would be too painful.
She waved him off, not sure if what he said was a compliment or not. She had cried in his arms, how was that 'taking her changes well'? As far as she was concerned, she had completed snapped, and was now probably in a sense of denial.
The talk of a mad-scientist-coyote-man made the woman's mood lighten. "Ooo! We can put glitter on the coat too, and have those retro glasses that had fake gemstones in them! I would order a lot of them and send them to the guys I put behind bars...I wonder if your 'enemies' would be among them..."

Pyroth nodded "A bit like my motto - if you don't laugh you'll cry." he had begun to treat the civilised world as a sort of dream or distant memory, something that he had once known but which was so different from this world in which he now lived. There was nothing else he could do.
Bobby might have been hurt emotionally by the transformation but she hadn't turned into the sort of walking bundle of nerves and lethargy that he had, she maintained herself, even if it was a front and gave Pyroth something to aim for himself. He couldn't articulate that though and merely shrugged.
He couldn't help but smirk and add cryptically in terms of his enemies "Most of my enemies were immune to jail sentences despite being criminals."
He quickly moved on "Those would be classic postcards though."

Bobby was almost shocked to hear Pyroth say his motto. Was she living by it, even now? It was simple but yet had everything wrapped up in a little package. She considered it while she finished off her first entree.
Hearing about his enemies, she perked to the questioning of what exactly he did 'in the real world'. But she wasn't going to ask... if he was going to tell her, he would. And what does it matter any more? "Hmmm... you're enemies sound like the ones we tended to just shoot on sight," while she was joking, since Bobby was still in a very pondering mindset it probably didn't come out quite right.

Pyroth had been spending a lot of time in the jungle, he felt better there, less things to stare, anything that saw him long enough through the undergrowth felt his fangs. Still, he wouldn't let go fully of what made him human, every day (or night depending on his sleep patterns) he'd come back to his duplex, bathe and sleep. He didn't go to the cafeteria as much as he used to, only when hunting was scarce.
Today he had caught a baby boar, just enough to get him through the next few days without eating and had come back to his duplex and normality.
When he got back he picked up his two trusty allies, his pot and his half bottle of Jack Daniels. His night would be sweet.
And even despite not needing to, he knew he'd be out wandering the next day aswell. EVENT PMQuote: The last thing you remember clearly is going to bed Thursday night. Everything seemed fairly normal at the time. It was a nice day, and a pleasant evening. However, when you wake up, you are most certainly not where you went to bed. You're not even in your duplex. Your head feels muzzy, and you've got a nasty headache. You're alone, soaking wet (although you have no recollection of it even raining), and covered in blood. It doesn't take you long to figure out that at least SOME of it is your own. There is a HUGE puncture wound in your left front shoulder, which has oozed blood all down your front. But there is also blood in your mouth and down your front. Your keen canine senses tell you quickly two pieces of information. Some of the blood is pig.... and some of it is human - not your own. As you slowly regain more consciousness, scattered bits and pieces return to you, but nothing more than flashes no matter how hard you concentrate. Running through the jungle.... the squeal of a pig.... and flashes of ligtning illuminating a human figure on the dirt road with the thrill of the hunt.
