Koishii X Kyrenx Is there perhaps anyway to make a Modest nature work? Because it took me quite awhile to find a Modest Eevee with decent IVs and a moderately powerful Hidden Power that was Fighting. I mean, with 343 in Sp.Atk, I think it can afford to drop down a little more with the Fake Tears support. Or do you think I'm stuck with 252 HP / 252 Speed / 6 Sp.Atk? Not much else you can do with that Glaceon. Though perhaps you can just sacrifice some special attack EVs for speed. The only Glaceon I think that would be effective for a Modest natured one is Choice Scarf though :/ Or perhaps I'm looking at this in a completely linear way. Maybe I can go with my original thought of maxing out HP + Sp.Atk (or maybe even spread a few EVs into Def + Sp.Def) and make this Glaceon for the sole use in a Trick Room oriented team. How does that sound? whee

That aside, a modest, non-trick room Glaceon is a no-no? whee

Kyrenx That aside, a modest, non-trick room Glaceon is a no-no? whee Yes, and I've experimented with Glaceon. Fails as a whole. Too many types can take not very effective damage from it. 394 special attack isn't good without any additional gains :p

Man, I've found a Timid Glaceon with decent Sp.Atk IVs and Hidden Power Fighting almost impossible to obtain. sweatdrop I thought Ice beam and HP Fighting offered rather decent type coverage?

That is good. We can always substitute another move in place of HP Fighting. Even with the 394 Special attack it can't really hurt much with base power 70 or less. Why not run Ice Beam Shadow Ball Fake Tears Substitute With Shadow Ball, you can now perhaps get another defense lower, and now can land an easy OHKO on Gengar and other Ghosts.

Minus two moves, that looks very similar to my Jolteon. xd But I'll see about trying that out and seeing how it fares.

My lucario's moveset is about the same so I'm going down the right path. Though with the Salemence....why Draco Meteor AND Dragon Pulse?

If your Salamence comes out early in the battle, destroy things with Draco Meteor as there aren't many that can survive a full power DM. Obviously, your Special Attack stat is going to drop and will require a switch out, but once it's late game (and you bring your Salamence back out again), sweep away with Dragon Pulse as it will allow for a STAB move that can finish off your other team's pokes (hopefully already injured by this time) without the stat deduction of DM. I know ordinarily the use of two STAB attacks of the same attack type would be rather stupid, but trust me when I say, this case is the exception.

Pagolion hey guys, long time no see. I have a docile Typhlosion with -HP Grass -Endure -Flamethrower -Focus Blast
I was wondereing what elese u recomend Personally, I rather like Eruption on Typhlosion as it generally has the speed to attack before taking damage from most opponents, which basically means you'll be hitting them with a Blast Burn that doesn't need recharging. And to top it off, when you are at low HP and Eruption no longer does much, Blaze will kick in and moves like Flamethrower or even Overheat will make a big impact. How much power does the Hidden Power have? If it doesn't exceed 60, then it really isn't worth using.
~ Eruption ~ Flamethrower/Overheat ~ Focus Blast ~ Hidden Power / Substitute / Endure

I believe it exceeds 60, it usually is a one hit kill on water types in the battle tower or whatever its called. It's not as strong as i'd like against milotic but its ok. Do you know how to find out its damage?
