Pendari tilted her head to the side. "If you can find something sufficiently fancy, let me know. But no, not your room, interesting attempt though."

She glanced to Jarred, "You wouldn't be able to abandon it willingly, would you."

"So, you are one of those girls that needs to be wined and dined, huh?" Garret responded. "Well, I'm always up for that. All my ancestors went after the challenging girls, from what I heard when I was a kid, so why should I break the chain?"

Pendari nodded, "Oh, I am. But be prepared, I'm not a formula girl. There's no secret ingredient to work every time. It either clicks, or it doesn't."

"Well, if something clicks, or doesnt, can you at least be blunt about it so I don't spend my time on something that will never work?" He asked. "I mean, I'd hope you'd at least grant me that."

"Of course I wouldn't. She's my baby. Got her from my Grandpa, after all." Jarred smiled as he kicked a chair, knocking it over to look under.

"Why not your dad?" Garret asked. "If I were in his position, when I was younger I'd have been begging to own a ship like this."

"Wait, what? Why didn't I get it from my dad? Perhaps my dad didn't used to own my ship?" Jarred wasn't trying to be rude, but was honestly in awe at the question.

"No, I mean why didn't your grandfather give it to your dad?" Garret explained. "Why'd he skip the generation?"

"Oh." Jarred said, shrugging. "My grandpa still flew it by the time my parents died, so he never got a chance. I was the last close heir, I guess."
PostPosted: Sun Dec 16, 2007 7:37 pm

"Oh" He said, nodding. "I can relate to that, only I never really knew my grandparents. All I know is that when he was really young, my grandfather was beaten by my great-grandfather. I never found out why, though. It only happened once, and I think my Father said something about it being over my great grandmother..."

"They beat eachother? Was this when they were younger, or was it literally an old man and an older man hitting eachother?" Jarred was getting restless with the searching, crawling under a table.
PostPosted: Sun Dec 16, 2007 7:44 pm

"No, it was when they were younger. My Grandfather was only about 5 or 6 at the time. My Great Grandfather was about 25, I think. I did a lot of research, but I don't know whether or not to believe the stuff I found." He said as he watched Jarred crawling around.

"Well that's not cool." Jarred moved into another room, raising his voice so he could be heard. "Only time my folks hurt me was when they drove into oncoming traffic."
PostPosted: Sun Dec 16, 2007 7:49 pm

"That sucks" Garret called. "But if what I read was true, my grandfather arranged for his mother to be tied to a bomb, and she was almost killed. I'd beat the hell out of my kid too. But thats what I find hard to believe. What kind of demon-child 6 year old gets their mother tied to a bomb?"

"Jesus Christ! Did he have a waxed mustache as well?" Jarred yelled over a loud crashing noise, obviously something falling. "Found the TV... " He muttered.
"Where the hell would he even get a bomb from?"
