I agree entirely, even with the part about the goblet of fire. I find him very unattractive, leaning closely towards, very very ugly. This of course is my opinion. nasty nasty Robert Pattison, poor studio people who cast him are in for a very sad suprise.

I wouldn't say he's ugly.... but he's not cute either. He's somewhere in the middle, at least for me. Personally, I loved him in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He's a good actor, and I think he'll do a good job at portraying Edward. 3nodding I wish they picked a hotter guy to play Edward, but I don't have the power to sway the producer's decision on who to cast, so yeah. xd I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope the movie will be good. Besides, movies are never as good as the books anyway. As long as he portrays Edward's character correctly, I'm fine with him being Edward.

Robert Pattinson is OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD-AMAZING. he looks perfect on the poster  ...OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG Autruna I think that he can pull it off. I'm not disappointed. I think Summits doing a good job in their selections. Their choosing good actors that can look the part. I know they aren't to everyone's tastes, but they are doing the best they can with the funding and choices that they have. Yeah, at first in different pics the actors don't look exactly like i imagined the character to look like but from pics and vids of the movie they are perfect!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't really care that he was Cedric Diggory.
My cousin almost cried when I showed her who was playing Edward, and My friend Haley DID cry.

yeah, i was a little thrown by RPattz myself, but then i sat down and watched The Haunted Airman on Youtube and i'm worry free. His acting skills are off the charts and because of that fact i've become quite atractted to him.
you guys also have to remember that camras arn't the most reliable sorce for holding someones true beauty. I know plenty of beautiful people that take the most uggiest pictures.

I'm kinda of happy that Robert Pattinson is going to play Edward. He can act and I think he's super hot. Hot Diggory damn is he good looking, imo. I loved him in Goblet of Fire, so I hope he can lift my hopes for the movie. :3

...I just don't understand how anyone can't see him as Edward!
OK, so he's not the most beautiful person in the world.
And in most pictures he doesn't look good.
But when he's made up as Edward, he... whoa.
He's just.... dazzling!
And from the trailer, and the two scenes we've seen, there's no way you can deny his acting skills.
I have complete faith in him.
There's nobody better for the job.

Edward is a vampire, and is therefore too perfect to be properly portrayed by a human being.
Guys, unless they got a real vampire to play him, nobody would be as beautiful as Edward is meant to be.
But Robert Pattinson?
God, Stephenie Meyer, Edward's friggin' creator, says she's dazzled by him.
She says he's practically flawless, she says there's nobody better for the role.
If he's good enough for, then he is definitely good enough for us!
