"What do you want?" He told Akuma, "The flower can't wait, that's a propostorous thing to say... the little one, yes in the prophecy she was a pearl blue! Then you know of the exact spot! Are you sure we must wait a week?" Nabooro was happy, he could save him and Haruko's people. They could live happily ever after again.
Noryu started hesitating. These dragonflies were believing her and she had realized she had made a mistake. She didn't want to go through with this and let the lovers in deceit. "I, well, actually I lied. I am not the princess of your prophecy..." She looked to the ground, ashamed.

Akuma growled a bit bitterly. "You were going to offer me something and yet you.. you rudely put it aside. I think I had the right to be curious. Whatever.... You three are disgusting..." She turned her back on them. "You might as well adopt that girl. She fits right into your lying family..." A snicker came from her and she began to walk away. Now she was completely bored.... There were other things to eat anyway.
Haruko blinked. She knew Noryu was most likely not a princess. They were all playing pretend, even if the story seemed to grow more and more real as they told it. "Nonsense. I see potential in you. You look exactly like how the prophecy foretold." She bowed her head. "Oh please, princess. At least try to help us on our quest. You may very well be her. We might not have to wait a week with your hidden powers."

Noryu felt so ashamed when Akuma called them lyers, how did she know? Maybe she had powers too, maybe it was a sign, maybe she really was the princess. She let her intuition guide her words, "Maybe... what if I am the princess? Then maybe I can lead you to the cure but I can't achieve it without her," She pointed to Akuma with her muzzle.
Nabooro was completely absorbed into the game, he jumped at Akuma. he didn't really like her but if she could help then she should help. "Please do not part... we need you help."

Akuma's eyes narrowed angerily at the male that stoped her. She was able to dodge him before she was caught. She crouched down and snarled at him. Her eyes glared dagger into him. If looks could kill.... "How DARE you? I'm not playing along in your petty little game. Especially after you dare ignore me and brush me aside. I'm getting myself food. I don't play "make believe" big boy! I live in the real world. Ever hear of it?" Another threatening snarl came from Akuma and she glared at the pup. "I should tear out your throat! What makes you think it's a good idea to drag ME into this? I do as I please, little girl..." Her eyes narrowed and she growled. "This is why I hate children... they're all so stupid..."
Haruko stood in front of Noryu to block her from Akuma's sight and to protect the girl from the other female's terrible glares. Haruko growled herself. "Leave the princess alone. As queen, I cannot let you hurt her. Now foul demon, hear us out. Perhaps you'll be awarded an offering if you are good." Haruko smiled and tilted her head to the side. "One who does good things has good things done to them after all."

Nabooro felt Akuma's staring quite threatening but he could not let her go, "You are ready to let our people die because you believe this is a game?" He couldn't tell what was true anymore and so his heart ached.
Noryu shook behind the protecting Haruko. She was terrified but she could not dispose of Akuma. "We trully need her. As spiteful she may be, she's part of the key."
Nabooro walked in circles on himself a bit. "Please Lady, we beg you, we promis you many offerings..."

Akuma stared at Nabooro with disbelief. He seemed so serious over a lie HE made up! "I was watching you. I KNOW it's a lie. You and your little girlfriend over there are two normal dragonflies and that pup is nothing more than a pup. There is no such thing as a kingdom in this forest. Kingdoms are nothing but stories..." She rolled her eyes and snarled again at Noryu even though she couldn't see the pup. The pup was the one who got her into this stupid mess after all.
Haruko's offer though was begining to tempt Akuma. She licked her chops. She was hungry. "So... if I follow you around you'll give me a meal? Ugh.. sounds more trouble than it's worth.... it better be something good and if we don't find anything by the end of the day I'm going home WITH this offering, got it?" She said, shooting Nabooro a glare. He was the "king" so she assumed he was in charge.
Haruko smiled and nodded, "It is a deal, demon. You'll get your meal by the end of the day as long as you assist us for the time being. We must listen closely to what the princess thinks after all. You surely won't be disappointed." Haruko was really getting into this too. She always used to tell all her stories to the point where she almost believed them when she was little. It was her way of dealing with the loss of her parents. Course.... stories didn't work for the reason her parents weren't around anymore. Haruko was all grown up so it was too late for them to come back to her and be a happy family again, at least that's how she saw it.

Nabooro solemnly nodded at Akuma. He was ready to serve this dragonfly to get his people back. He got a little closer to Haruko, nuzzling. Then he looked up, "Demon, what is your name?"
Noryu stood out from behind of Haruko, surrounded by an invsible magic. The aura of creativity filled her subconscious. She was excited to jump into adventure and save the King and Queen's loving peasents.

"Akuma is my name. I'm more of a normal dragonfly than a demon, though I will admit I act like a demon more than an angel..." She smirked and laughed. Being called a demon actually humored her a bit. "But call me what you wish. I really don't care what stupid dragonflies like you call me. Nothing, but liers deep down..."
Haruko smiled. "My name Queen Haruko. Thank you for your help..." She looked down at Noryu. "Are you alright, little princess? You were quite brave, standing up to such a creature. You must truly be the princess if you are willing to do that for the sake of our people." Haruko nuzzled the pup lovingly, as if she was Noryu's mother.

Noryu smiled at Haruko, "Yes, I am well." Then she turned around to look at Akuma, "Akuma, give me a direction off the top of your mind. You might not feel it inside that you are actually divine." She really hoped the demon dragonfly would reply.
Nabooro asked, "Will that lead us to the cure?"
Noryu said, "It really might."

Akuma rolled her eyes. "Up North, heading towards hills if there is any. There, happy?" She growled quietly and swished her tail around impatiently. "I am growing increasingly bored, so hurry up. You only have a day with me, you know so you better not waste it."
Haruko sighed and shook her head at Akuma's attitude. She could at least pretend to believe them to be polite. Maybe at least pretend to not think down upon the three of them. "Noryu, do you think Akuma's direction is correct?" She asked the younger dragonfly. "I don't think she is really trying too hard. She doesn't seem to have any faith."

Nabooro seemed hesitant like Haruko. Akuma was not really enthousiastic about her gift.
Noryu did not lose hope. She looked at the couple and nodded, "As I said. She may not feel it, but I am absolutely sure that she has pointed out the right direction." Noryu looked around then making a weird facial expression she asked, "Which way is north?"
Nabooro giggled. A little humor to lighten up the ambience was always useful. He pointed to the river. "If there are hills, the water should be going down. We must head up stream."

"You all are taking advice from a pup who didn't even know she was this "princess" you keep rambling on about. You idiots really should drop the act," Akuma said and grumbled afterwords. She didn't like following around a little kid like this. It was embarrassing her.
Haruko smiled. "Well if the princess is sure, than North it is," She said while completely ignoring Akuma.

Nabooro moved on closer to his beloved and started walking up stream. This was a great day, where great things were to happen. He was happy to have met these two dragonflies, no matter their attitudes, to help them on their quest.
Noryu followed closly as well. She did not know how to get to the hills. She looked at Haruko and then at Akuma then back at Nabooro, and she smiled with passion.

Haruko smiled at her love and nuzzled him for a moment. She felt very happy to have him close to her. No matter where this adventure would lead them, she knew she would feel safe as long as he was there. Haruko looked over to the 'princess' as a thought occured to her. "Princess, will this way lead to any danger? There could be trouble..."
Akuma mumbled something under her breath and began to trail behind the other three a little. She still wasn't happy.

Noryu skipped forward and when Haruko asked her the question she stopped her upbeat step, walking head low, pondering. She was thinking of what she was going to say and once she caught on an idea she looked up at Haruko again. "My queen, the hills are a very peaceful area, and the cure is not a frequently seeked thing. I believe if anything bad is to happen, it will have no relation to our quest."
Nabooro nodded to what Noryu had said. He exclaimed as a joke, "Unless Akuma decides to attack us at the hills." He giggled. He meant nothing mean, only to tease Akuma on her attitude.
