Jenx Everyone's so mad that Fai is happy as a kid. I don't get it. They did that on purpose guys- they didn't want to reveal anything about his past, so they obviously gave us a shot that tells us pretty much nothing, ie the shot of Fai looking happy as a kid in floaty Celes. This might be before his trauma, or it might be after it in a happy moment, whatever. It doesn't mean he had a happy childhood, just means they didn't want to give us any hints. (Course they failed- note that Celes is green and bright, NOT snowy and cold like he describes it in Jade! Something happened to the country between the picture and his flight from the castle.) probably because we enjoy angst. sweatdrop or maybe thats just me... really, i'd love to see a past of happy times, just like how it was with kurogane...and have it all be torn apart... *sadistic moment for me. bwa ha ha.* but wow does he look...creepy...in the picture... >.< fai can't be happy. he's too..."happy" to actually be happy. *did that make any sense? sweatdrop * more later, gotta go play violin.*thats what you said earlier, you baka!!* ...lots of stars (*), ne? sweatdrop -sakura

I know I know! That animal in the ending he plays with is like a Mokona creature in his world, and as with Mokona, he likes to have fun, although he really isn't happy. That's why he gets so well with Mokona! lol
confused Yikes, that explanation sucked. Why don't you stop me with my stupid explanations? xd
(I want to see the anime... crying So, it is animated better, right? Leaving the OP and ED apart, of course...)

Yeah! I'm tired of waiting! xd So I finally saw it (besides, I was on social service, so I had a faster connection blaugh )
Well, now, my opinion.
The good stuff:
-The race animation was quite nice... I was expecting less.
-Kurogane's design OMG he hadn't big ears!!!
-Syaoran's eyes when he sees evil Syaoran xd
-Fai's eyes when Kuro-tan talks about Ashura!!! OMG eek I got chills!
-Syaoran's smile when he says that he kept his promise to Sakura.
-Hair animation during the race!!! WOW
-Syaoran being all comic when he tries to show Sakura how to fly.
-Sakura's landing!!! And Tomoyo saying that it was cute!!! xd
-Hinoto crossover!!! She was a little too high, though... but she impressed me biggrin
-Sakura saying "hoeee!"
-Yuuko looked really great! She doesn't look like the Yuuko with light in her eyes (I hated that on the very first episode... she has no reflex in her eyes!)
The bad stuff:
-OP and ED animations (I had already expressed my opinion about these earlier in the topic)
-When Sakura crashes with Kurogane and Fai, how the hell did the parachutes just appear out of thin air?!?!
-Sakura should be genki-er than now... (I hate that she's being so calm... now that she has more feathers)
-I didn't like much Tomoyo's voice, it was so non-hyper. Tomoyo's hyper about Sakura, ne?
-The fat guy at the ending... he talks and talks to Syaoran, and he doesn't respond... that was a waste of time... a "bleh" animation to have the 25 minutes epi complete! (was it 25?)
-Piffle Princess is white, not that awful yellow-something color!!!
-Sakura didn't yell for Syaoran when his Dragonfly was caught on fire!!! For God's sake, hime, he's looking for your feathers! Be more sensitive!!!
-Yuuko had the same outfit from when she met the gang and she barely moved when talking to them!!!
-That sloooow close-up when Sakura is riding with Syaoran... I mean... it was a fast scene and there was a very slow close up to Sakura's face!!! WTF?!
-The crowd at the race was not animated... and they didn't cheer, shout or anything! They were just dots in the stadium!
I didn't care much that they didn't follow the storyline, but I think this episode was better than other episodes from the first season. But I still think the best episode is the first one.

yes, the crowd WAS boring--to boot, they were...."flat". i mean, seriously! find screenshot with the audiance in it, and you'll see that they look like poster paper with colorful dots on them. what the heck?! gonk

Just finished watching episode 28.Results-> very disappointed Carmen.Like WTF?!?!?!That was even worse than episode 27. Gods,did the animators get bored or did somebody cut their resources? Characters just stood on their places and only theirs mouths moved. So stupid and I hate it and I miss season 1. crying

Technically he's all 'sploded~! YAY! (Even though I know what happens next, it's cool that I get a full week to happy dance about his being 'sploded. 3nodding -mokona

In fact, the main MAIN characters would be Kuro-tan and Fai-san,and Sakura-chan and Syaoran-kun would be forgoten somewhere background.And Mokona?...What Mokona? twisted

The anime/manga is all there is, these days. No one writes for Syaoran and Hime anymore. >_> No one draws them either. Not enough love for them. Nope. Nope-nope. *sniffs* Maybe that's why Bee Train seems to favor Syaoran. -mokona
