Eryka smiled at his answer. She pondered this for a moment, and then grinned, holding out her hand to the man of shadows. "If you'll have me, I will join your orginization. Anyone who does not want power is a fool!"

Damian looks at you, an excited glint in his eye. "Very well, but before you take that final step, know this. As with everything worth having, there is a price. Those who follow the Children's path pay for their power with pain. You must strike at your foes, or be considered unworthy, and suffer because of it. And no other may heal your wounds; only you carry the ability to do so. Consider this carefully before making your final declaration:
*Demonic Pact--Automatically lose 1 HP per round of combat. For every round of combat where you inflict no damage, you lose 5 HP.
*Demonic Ties--You are incapable of receiving any benefit from normal or magical healing. Standard regeneration works normally, however.

Eryka grins, power radiating from her, "I must strike my foes? I was BORN to strike my foes!" She laughs, flexing her fists, and striking against the air. It's obvious that she feels an increase in power from her pact with Daiman.
After several minutes of shadow boxing, she stops, and bows to Daiman once again, "Thank you, sir. It is indeed a great honor."

Damian grins then holds out his hand bearing a symbol in the center of his palm. "Welcome, then Mistress Vindicator to the Children of the Demon. Take this so that all shall know your allegiance, and tremble at your approach! I feel certain that you shall attain greatness, and your deeds will echo through eternity. If there is anything further I can offer, you have but to state your need."

Eryka took the symbol and afixed it to her person firmly. "I have herd that different covens/groups/orginizations grant special abilities. What are the abilities of the Children of the Demon?"
(( I just wanted that for role play sake. You don't have to describe them, though. ))

Eryka_Deathfold Eryka took the symbol and afixed it to her person firmly. "I have herd that different covens/groups/orginizations grant special abilities. What are the abilities of the Children of the Demon?" (( I just wanted that for role play sake. You don't have to describe them, though. )) Damian takes you aside and gives you a full tutorial on what the Children have to offer. He also offers the private sale of a special item; the Fairy Egg, for 100 chips. Fairy Egg (Cursed): Once the beloved potential child of a fairy, this egg grants 10 points of Demonic Regeneration if crushed in the hands of a member of the Children of the Demon. This item counts as a potion.

Pondering the benifits of having such a useful item, Eryka gladly trades the 100 chips for the Fairy Egg. After listening to the unique skills that the Children can learn, she replies, "I'd very much like to learn Improved Demonic Regeneration. It would be worth the loss of a small percent of my retaliation towards those that use special attacks on me."
(( I'd like to use my 1 saved cp, and one of the 4 from my vindicative (special) to purchase 1 rank of Improved Demonic Regeneration, if possible. ))

Fury enters the Red Dragon Lounge, closely followed by Zypher. Pointing to the recruiter Damian he says,"There is the one you seek. I pray that you find the answer to your wasting illness; and I hope that the price is not to great." Turning away, Fury heads back down to the main Tavern, leaving Zypher to his fate...

I have reached the limit that my human body can sustain with Etheriomancy and the only way I can progress further is to gain the powers of a demon. Give me entrance into your organization." Zypher stares at Damian with resolute determination, waiting for his response.

I have reached the limit that my human body can sustain with Etheriomancy and the only way I can progress further is to gain the powers of a demon. Give me entrance into your organization." Zypher stares at Damian with resolute determination, waiting for his response. Damain looks at Zypher curiously, and listens to his demand. "Prove yourself worthy, and I will accept you within the ranks of the Children of the Demon." Lifting his arm, a palpable darkness surrounds you, and you feel something sharply tug you off balance. As the darkness recedes, you find yourself standing before the entrance to the Individual Tournament. ("[Tournament] Zypher's try at the Tournament" has been created in the Dungeon Subforum)
