Hey, I'm Monblancs_Bunny and I'm 17 yrs. old. Since I've learned about both sides of abortion, I've been pro-life for awhile now. I feel strongly about this topic and have had many heated debates on gaia. I'm glad to be part of this guild.

Why are you Pro-Life?: Well part of it stems from my Christain beliefs, but on the whole I would think it was wrong, even if I wasn't Christian. It makes no sense to kill a human life just for the sake of someone's convience.
What about physical health to the mother?: Well, that depends.
A)If the mother is considered to be a suicide risk, perhaps. I haven't really worked on forming my opinion on this aspect.
B)If there is no other concivable way to keep the mother from death then abortion, then yes, if the mother makes a decision in that direction. Mind you this is only in a last ditch effort. There is no sense in losing two lives.
Rape?: Three words; Morning After Pill. I believe that despite what happened, it is in the vicitm's and everyone else's best interest to seek help immediately, thus preventing an emotionally tramatic pregancy and getting a rapist off the streets. If they can't take that responsibility and they get pregenant, they should have to go through with the pregancy.
Views on the Death Penalty?: neutral; haven't really thought about it.
Are you vegetarian?: nope
Vegan?: nope
Are there another ways you're pro-life?: If a person is capable of movement, has conciousness, or has noticible brain waves, I beleive they should be given the chance to live, except perhaps in the case of the death penatly, in which I have not formed an opinion as of yet

Why are you Pro-Life?: I have two reasons for being pro-life. For one, I see it as murder, no matter what anyone says. Secondly, my grandfather and my mother's (now ex) husband forced my mother to have an abortion. Otherwise, I would've had a big brother.
What about physical health to the mother?: Hey, she shouldn't have spread her legs, and the father should've kept it in his pants.
Rape?: The baby can still be adopted.
Views on the Death Penalty?: All for it! If someone kills another person, they deserve to die the same brutal way they murdered their victim.

Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): Killing Anyone = bad. I hate the thought of people dieing....anyone really. And babies are people too. Whether we look at them the same way or even don't want to give them the same rights as other people, it doesn't matter. They are still people and killing people is bad.
What about physical health to the mother?: If there's no chance of saving the mother except by abortion....yeah I suppose there's no sense losing two lives. This doesn't really happen all that frequently though.
Rape?: There is always adoption for these children. It isn't like they even have to keep the baby.
Views on the Death Penalty?: No. I am firmly anti death penalty. I see no way of justifying the murder of another human being no matter how sick and twisted they are. That makes us just as bad as them. Besides there are far worse things you can do to a prisoner than killing them. Permanent solitary comes to mind.
Are you vegetarian?: Not in the classical sense. I don't eat meat but most cause it disagrees with me.
Vegan?: not by a long shot.
Are there another ways you're pro-life?: It's pretty much self explanatory, unless you consider being anti war as being pro life. I don't like death or killing in general.

Why are you Pro-Life? I was not adopted. I was just the accident child before menopause... I am Pro-life for a number of Reasons. It is a part of my religion but, I have also researched the act and I feel that it is morally wrong. I can't understand how a woman could even live with herself after having one. I know that if I am ever pregnant for what ever reason, that the baby's life is very important.
What about physical health to the mother?: I have never really taken this into my belief. I honestly don't know what to say on this fact. If the mother is sick... its not the baby that is making her sick. There are was to keep the child.
Rape?: Its still life. Yeah a woman was raped. The child should not have to suffer for the sins of its father.

Siblings?: my younger sister, who is my baby's aunt.
Pets?: three obnoxious dogs.. two of which i make no claim of ownership. any other animals in the house i pretend don't exist. like the turtles and fish.
Mentor?: erm.... non really.
Religion?: definitely a non-denominational christian. i've been to a lot of churches of different denominations... i wish that there wasn't such seperation with in christianity, but i find that each denomination holds something that i find should be more important in a christian's life. i'm going through a tough time, spiritually, and have been really unsure of myself where religion is concerned... but i've lately been getting into the bible more and i'm starting to find myself agian.

Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): i was introduced into pro-life when i found out my best friend was very VERY against abortion, being a good catholic. she was going to a rally, and i heard that music was going to be there, and i had nothing better to do, so i tagged along. i was introduced to the pro-life message for the first time. (i'd really never thought of that before... i was 14 and i don't think i'd even realized abortion existed) that night my eyes opened and i was sickened by the fact that people could kill a baby. now that i have my baby i'm so glad no one was able to sway my decision for keeping him, as i became pregnant at a VERY bad time, being still in school and financially lacking. there was no reason for me to ever even think about abortion, i knew everything would fall into place... there are so many ways the government helps women who are in the position of pregnant with no money. sorry that was long.
What about physical health to the mother?: i really thought about that as i was entering my 8th month of pregnancy.. what if i were to die? well in a lot of cases there are procedures the doctor can prevent both the mother and child's death... but i think if it came down to it, the baby has more life to live... and if his dad became unable to take care of him he'd have grandparents on both sides to take care of him. as for with other people.. it is their decision, and their's alone. i would support whatever decision someone made.. but i would not forget to mention that doctors are not always right, and that they should inquire if that would really occur.
Rape?: its not the baby's fault that she was taken advantage of. i understand that it would really suck to have your rapists baby... but adoption works.
Views on the Death Penalty?: personally i think a better punishment may be life imprisonment, as it gives the person a lot of time to think about what they did. i don't think that an adult that has killed a person on purpose should EVER be allowed to get out of jail. but death penaltly? i wouldn't protest against it.
Are you vegetarian?: no way! there's no way i'd survive.
Vegan?: couldn't EVER do it.

Why are you Pro-Life?: Because I don't think it's right for a woman to give up a child because of a mistake she made. There are other options for that! Abortion is one of few thinks that made my blood poil and a large vain pop out of the side of my head. No matter what anyone says, it IS a life, and abortion IS taking a life away.
What about physical health to the mother?: I don't care. If anything, it should be like way back when when they used coat hangers, or pushed themselves down the stairs. At least while taking a life, their harming themselves more in the process. If it was my way, I'd hunt each and every one of them down and show them how it feels to be aborted.
Rape?: There's adoption! Better than murder. Much better!
Views on the Death Penalty?: I think the government who does it is just as much as a murderer as the person who commits the crime. I also believe that the Detah Penalty is nothing more than an easy way out of getting away from the guilt they'll have to go through. (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): My best friend Toxic lollipop is a very good teacher and debater and so i tend to agree with her esspecially the subject of abortion, it is not something i feel should be taken lightly it is human life that is taken away from something that has not had the chance to develope yet to make its own decisions for its self.
What about physical health to the mother?: this is something you should have thought about and taken great consideration before indulging in sexual intercouse. In some cases we are not psychics and cant predict that we are going to die if we carry a child to term, in this case I think it would be a choice your allowed to make.

Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): I respect human life in all stages, and I defend it. After we became catholic (converts), my mom took me to pro-life meetings, so I was started young (I was 7, then, almost 17, now).
What about physical health to the mother?: This may sound heartless, but if the mother's health were endangered by the pregnancy, should she not make the ultimate sacrifice to give her life for another? Seriously, the Army supports this. Leave no man behind. They give their lives for us, but we fail to see the connexion. So many people want to become heros, but can't. Then we see mothers who are endangered by the pregnancy, and they have the chance to become the hero for their child. What kind of example is this if the women kill the child to save themselves?
Rape?: Does rape change the fact that the fetus is human life?
