Yugi laughed a little. She was so spirited, He really admired that. "I've never lost a bet." he said, trying not to sound like he was bragging. It was just the truth. He was the king of games after all.
Sam grinned. "No problem babe." She said, extreamly happy that Joey wasnt mad about this. She felt like giving him a hug but she knew he would just pull away so she didnt.
Tea walked over, carrying a tray of food. She set each plate down in front of them, making sure to practically lay on on Atem and Yugi when she leaned over them to place Joey and Akiko's plates in front of them.
Sam's mood was instantly killed when Tea returned and was all over them again. They were never coming here again! She was kind of afraid to eat her food. Tea probably did something to it.
Yugi blushed when Tea leaned over him. He tried to move out of the way but couldnt.

"Wow really? That's great! You probably win a lot then," Akiko complimented. Her heart was really light when around Yugi. She really did like him, possibly too much. Seto was out of her mind right now. Tea came back with the food. Akiko took notice when she was practically shoving her breasts in Yugi's face. God she couldn't stand that! Why did she have to do that!? She balled her hands into fist from anger. Tea was gone now and they had their food, so she relaxed. Akiko looked down at her plate. "Yay, boob! ...I MEAN FOOD!!!!" she experienced a Freudian Slip. She was so angry about Tea doing what she did, she accidentally said that. She covered her mouth. "Oops"
Joey was drinking soda when Akiko slipped up. It resulted in soda going up and out his nose. He was shocked and amused in what she said. He covered his nose and mouth so nobody was splattered. He wiped his nose and face. "What?!" he said partially laughing. "Akiko said boob!" Joey teased immaturily.
"Shut up Joey!" she said trying not to laugh as well. She kicked him again under the table.
"OW! I wish you would stop doing that!" he joked back.
Atem's stomach turned when Sam called Joey 'babe'. His stomach turned even more when Tea was all over him and Yugi. He caught a glimpse of Akiko's reaction. Strange, she looked rather jealous. Sam as well- but that could have been pure hatred. To minimalize touch from Tea, he scoouted closer to Sam. Not to impose on her, he just didn't want Tea on him. She was gone, good. He scouted back to his spot, "Sorry about that," he said to Sam. He looked at Akiko with a raised eyebrow, did he hear that right?

Yugi was relieved when Tea was off of him and away from them. He went to answer Akiko's question until she messed up and said boob. He raised an eyebrow and couldnt help from laugh a little. "Are you ok Akiko?" he asked in a bit of a teasing voice.
when the soda shot out of Joey's nose Sam practicly jumped onto Atem's lap. "Joey! Thats disgusting!" She said as the soda got everywhere. She looked at Atem, blushing like mad when she realized their position. She quickly grabbed her napkin and cleaned up whatever was on the seat before moving back to her spot. "s-sorry." She said. She tried to quickly move on with the conversation. "Akiko what were you thinking about huh?" She teased, laughing

Akiko started bursted out laughing, soda shooting out somebodies nose was just funny. She wasn't sure how to explain what she was thinking. How does she say she didn't like some other chicks breasts on her friend. She put her hand on her forehead, "I don't know. Maybe penguins, maybe chicken." She meant to make no sense. It was kind of embarassing, but she new it was just her friends.
Atem blushed dramatically when Sam jumped on his lap. He didn't mind, but he had to resist not touching her. He repeated in his mind, 'don't touch her'. Sam quickly got off of him, the momment was over. He looked down so she wouldn't see his blushing face, "It's ok...." In truth, it was more then ok. He felt empty though, the momment would have been complete if he was able to hold her.
Joey's face cringed, "Ahh, my nose burns..." He looked at Sam, "I'm sorry, but Akiko made me laugh!" He looked at her and joked, "Your fault." Raising an eyebrow, he asked, "Penguins? Chickens? Your weird." He was joking with her.
"Your weird," she said as a teasing response.

Yugi just laughed along with them. He ate some of his french fries. He couldnt help but think about other things. He shook his head of those thoughts quickly though.
Sam's face was still red and she tried not to look at Atem cause now she felt embarressed. She moved closer to Joey as she ate her food.

Akiko was full, she had a few more french fries so she played with them. It was a habit of hers. She started building it upwards as a tower. She hummed to herself while doing so.
Atem saw Sam move away from him afterwards. Was she sickened by their contact? He sighed as he finished his food. He wasn't sure what to do, he was beginning to realize he could really never be with Sam. He couldn't help but scold himself- why didn't he ask her out in the first place?
Joey finished first, he was still a bit hungry. He stretched and said, "Ah! That was good!"
[[should we have them go back to their own homes? Start another day? I was thinking of also having Akiko and Atem have dreams. Nothing big, like a post or two. If you want your characters to have dreams, you could do it then.]]

((Well I was thinking Sam and Atem could go out for ice cream, Joey can wait at Sam's for her to bring him ice cream afterwards and he can talk with Kaiba. And then maybe Akiko and Yugi can go to his house or somthing? then they can all have their dreams and then we'll start a new day))
Sam giggled a little at Joey. He was so fun to be around. But she felt like their relationship and friendship were getting worse. When Joey first asked her out she thought they would be great together. But it just wasnt turning out how she planned. She never thought Atem would like her so she thought by going out with Joey she would lose her feelings for him. But that wasnt happening either. She finished all of her food, leaning on Joey. "too much food..." she said.
Yugi smiled at Akiko. "Bored?" He asked, leaning his head on his hand as he leaned his elbow on the table. He finished his food but was still hungry. Tea was right about it not having many calories, there was barely any food.
Tea brought over their check. "Here guys. I hope you enjoyed it." She said and gave Yugi and Atem each a smile. "Give me a call later ok guys? We really need to hang out more..." She said, mostly to Yugi since she knew if she pressured him enough he would feel guilty and have to call her.
"S-sure Tea." Yugi said with a small smile as he took the check and handed it to Sam for her to pay.
"I aint tipping her..." Sam said spitefully as she took out some money and placed it on the table with the check.

Akiko smiled at Yugi and said, "Happens when I'm full. Here's you can have them- I'm going to eat the rest of the fries." She scooted the plate over towards him, "It's a fry tower." Tea came back for the check- if it wasn't for her flirting- Akiko would think she was a nice person. But why should she care? Yugi was single. But it irritated her to no end. She looked at Sam and laughed, "Ah, so you are Mr. Pink from Reservoir Dogs? Can I be Mr. Blonde? He's crazy!" She joked using the movie reference.
Joey laughed with her as well. He wrapped his arm around her, but only playfully. He raised an eyebrow about tipping. "Eh, I'll tip her- she needs the money," he said as he threw two dollars to the table. Joey looked at Akiko, "You can't be Mr. Blonde! I'm blonde so I should be him! Your Mr. Blue!"
"But Mr. Blue dies in the beginning of the movie! I don't want to be him!" she replied.
Atem glared at Joey. Now they decided to cuddle? Figures, right after he ate too. After all the stupid things Joey does and doesn't do for Sam, she still chooses Joey over him? He balled his fists in anger. He looked away from them and down at the table. It was becoming harder and harder for him to accept this. And he was starting to dislike Joey- which he hated himself for. He wasn't sure what they were referring to, but he was too preoccupied to care at the moment.
[[I couldn't resist using the Reservoir Dogs reference- I dunno if you saw it but Mr. Pink refuses to tip any waitress

Sam blinked confused. She had never seen the movie so she didnt know what they were talking about but she smiled anyway. Her smile widened as Joey put his arm around her. Even if it was just a friendly gesture she liked it. Joey would always be her best friend even if he didnt act like a boyfriend. She pouted when Joey put the money on the table. "Fine-huh hey, where'd you get that money? Youre not working right?" Sam asked frowning. She offered to pay for whatever Joey needed so he didnt have to work so many odd jobs and he could focous on getting his grades up and going to college. She really cared about an education. She wasnt as smart as Seto but she was still an A+ student and seto didnt even notice the money difference since they had so much to waste.
Yugi chuckled a little at their discussion as he ate the rest of her french fries. Even if Tea flirted with him all he could think about and focous on was Akiko. He would probably call her later just because if he didnt he would feel guilty but he lost his feelings for her long ago. He stood up when he thought they were all finished. "Lets go guys. So Atem, you and Sam are getting ice cream right? So how about the rest of us head over to my place to watch a movie or something?" he suggested friendly.

"Oh this? I was able to get this from my support check before my father took the rest of it," Joey said with a slight hint of sadness. Everything his father did was dispicable. Joey tried to forget about the drunken b*****d. He knew Sam would pay for him, but deep down it made him guilty. Part of him wanted a job- a good amount, but part of him didn't. He wasn't sure what kind of job he wanted, or career path.
Atem got up so the two of them could get up.... and stop cuddling. "Yea, we have to go and do that. Joey, swirl right?" he said slightly impatiently but it was hidden well. He would feel better when they were alone. As the famous Andy Warhol said, it would be his '15 minutes of fame' with Sam. Or however long it took. Atem didn't tip either, not Tea.
Akiko stood up as well. "Movie sounds good. I'm in," Akiko agreed to it. She wouldn't mind more time with her friends, more time with Yugi. She put a dollar down, to be nice. "Sam, I have to treat you next time. Thanks for paying," Akiko said. She wasn't used to people paying for her- she saw it as a nice gester and thought to return it. She looked at Joey sympathetically, "That money is technically yours. You can bring it up to the court Joey. Support check is to support the children, not to go in his pocket." She knew first hand about divorces- her parents did when she was younger. She lived with her mom and step father, who was a terrific person and twice the man her father was. She didn't tell anybody- so everyone thought that was her real dad.
"Meh, I'll go back and wait for my ice cream. After that I should go anyway," Joey said. "Yea, I know Akiko," he said not wanting to think about it.

Sam nodded and smiled, trying to not look to excited as they got outside and decided to go their separate ways. She looked at Akiko. "No, dont worry about it, Seto has more money to waste then anyone." She said witha small laugh. She looked at Joey after. He didnt seem at all worried. Thst made her feel relieved but also a little upset. He was her boyfriend after all. Didnt he care at all that she was going to get ice cream with Atem. Aparently not. "Alright Joey, do me a favor and check on Seto if he's home alright?" She said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. They had only kissed on the lips a few times and it was barely a kiss. She walked off, giving a wave to everyone. "See ya!" she said, getting excited again. She hadnt been alone with Atem in a very long time.
Yugi couldnt help but smile and blush a little when Joey said he was going back to Kaiba's. Now it was going to be him and her all alone. He grinned. "Ok Joey bye." He said, rushing the conversation a little. He glanced at Atem when Sam kissede Joey on the cheek. At leaset he never saw Kaiba and Akiko kiss. He was curious if they ever did. Kaiba certainly didnt seem like the lovey type.
Seto arrived home, a little dissapointed when he found everyone gone. He sighed, shaking his head of those thoughts. He should be happy he finally got some piece and quiet. He sat on the couch and watched tv and ate a little of the food Sam left on the table. Despite the common beliefe he could be like a normal person every once in a while.

Atem never saw Sam and Joey kissed. It was like a ton of bricks crashed down on his heart. What was he doing? Fantasizing about Sam and trying to be with her. He even felt, somewhere deep in his heart, that he could turn her around- that she would fall for him. He even ignored all guilty feelings about doing that to Joey. But he did realize it was wrong, but he couldn't help it. He loved her, he cherished her. He didn't want anybody else in the world except for her- and he couldn't have her. Atem walked off with her, just wanting it to be them. The least he could do was show Sam a good time. He knew Joey didn't treat her as well, not bad, but not the best. Maybe if he could just make her happy, he would always do that for her. He would always be there for her- no matter what.
Joey forced a smile when Same kissed him. It was bugging him more and more that he didn't like her being lovingly towards him. What was wrong with him? Sam was beautiful and he didn't even feel anything. Maybe he was just having a bad day- but it was a good day.... perhaps an off day? "Ok, I'll go see if he's home. Bye guys!" he said waving them off. He began walking to the mansion. He had forgotten a jean jacket two days ago. He wanted to go get it- then go home. He entered the mansion without knocking- he could get the door himself.
Seeing Sam and Joey kiss was a little strange to Akiko. She didn't know what it was, but they gave off a friendship vibe. Hearing Seto's name she ignored it- pretending not to hear it. She was upset with him, a little. There was something about Seto that worried her. She hated to admit it, but Seto reminded her of her biological father. No! Even she wouldn't admit that. Seto couldn't be that bad....... nobody could. "Ok guys, later!" Akiko said as she turned to Yugi. "Ok, off to your house. What type of movie were you thinking?" she asked him. She was excited to spend time with just Yugi- he was her closets friend.

As soon as they were alone Sam felt so much better with Joey out of sight. She smiled over at Atem. "so, where should we go for ice cream?" She asked happily. "And dont forget, you have to sing to me!" She said with a giggle.
Seto looked up when the door opened and someone just walked in. He assumed it was Sam and most likely Joey. The mutt hated his own home he supposed because he was always over their house. When Joey walked in without Sam he narrowed his eyes. "What the hell are you doing here mutt? I'm not babysitting..." He said irritatedly, sipping a soda.
Yugi smiled and walked side by side with her. To say the least he was thrilled. He thought about the movies he had when she asked him. "Ummm well I think we just got a new horror movie if you want to watch it..." He suggested, trying to sound brave but it scared him a little.

Atem smiled and looked at Sam. "How about Cold Stone Creamery?" He knew the place was nice and had really good ice cream- she figured she would like it. "If not there, if you have a place you prefer to go," quickly adding to so it didn't sound they had to go there. He let out a small blush when she reminded him about the singing. She wasn't going to let him forget. As she giggled he laughed a bit. "Your not going to let that down huh?" he said. He had a bit of enthusiasm showing in his face about singing to her- because he was in fact enthused to do it. But he had to think of the right words.
Joey narrowed his eyes at Seto. "I'm not staying long- I just wanted to get my jacket," he said in an irritated voice and almost childish. He grabbed it and looked at Seto, "Same will be coming back later. She just wanted me to check on you." He figured he would tell him where his sister was. He raised an eye brow at Seto and asked, "When did you get here anyway?"
Akiko smiled at him, "That sounds good!" She liked horror movies.... even if some of them scared her. "Are you sure? Have you watched it yet? Was it good?" she asked him. They arrived at his house, well, the Kame Game shop where he lived. "I haven't been at your house in a while. Did Grandpa get anything new?" she asked. She enjoyed the fact her friend's family owned a game shop.

Sam nodded. "That sounds good, I've been there a few times." She responded. She shook her head quickly. "Nope! You are definately singing to me! You lost the bet after all!" She said cheerfully. "So have a song in mind?" She asked in a teasing voice, nudging him.
"Check on me?" Seto said, rolling his eyes. What did she think he needed to be checked on for? He turned his attention back to Joey. "About five minutes ago." He answered. "I was relaxing until you interupted me...." He complained.
"I havnt watched it yet but I heard it was really good." Yugi said as they walked into the game shop. "We got a whole bunch of new games in last week! We should try them out later." He suggested.
