I've actually always wanted to fence, but never found a program to get me into it, at least nothing I think my family could think about affording.

If you're in the US, you can check the USFA site. They have college groups listed, and those'd probably be cheaper if there's one near you. I'm lucky in that there's a group on my campus. It's awesome.

I plan on making and RP here as well but I'm not sure when and what type it will be yet..

yo yo yo im Kyo im new and im kinda hyper. Fairly new to RPing and came here to get better(duh). Ummm....i like cookies and iced tea, yeah its a weird combo but i like it. Uhhhh....dont know what else to say soooo yeah...hi! *waves*
Oh oh i found something i can talk about, i am a musician(not successful, yet) and i have practiced different styles of martial arts and swordfighting for the past 13 years, twas total awesumness. (BUSHIDO RULES!!!!)

Hi.
Call me Curbwalker (because that's what I like to walk on instead of the sidewalk), or Curb, either one works. I've been RPing since...oh, 2001, I think, but lately have fallen into a rut and I'm looking for something new. I'm here because I've got several characters (two in particular) that I haven't played in a long time and the YIM RP rooms have fallen into enough chaos that I don't feel like digging my way through them, so if I find something interesting I'll join up here!
I prefer IM RP (via YIM or IRC), but I'll do PM and even play-by-post on a message board if necessary. The only thing I don't like is when someone drops out on me and leaves a story hanging, I've had it happen too often before...

Anyway, that's all I've got for this. PM me if you want, otherwise I'll look around a bit more before submitting a request : )

Hey my names Emma, I'm 15 and I've never role played before.
I've been wanting to start for a while but untill I joined gaia I had nowhere to do it and I've always been a bit nervious about starting because I'm not sure what to do, but hopefully I'll learn quickly here!
